Valentines Day, is over. But love, real love, true love, should be every day. I write this, because I am a testimony to it. I have been married for over 23 years. And as I look at our marriage, our love. I do see, the difference, as to why we have survived. And why we love each other. It is because of God. It is because, the foundation, of where we started from was based on holiness.
The world does not know this secret. Every television program you see, or every movie, books one reads, they do not elude to holiness. They do not promote, abstinence before marriage. Young girls, more then ever, are falling into premature sex, and having children out of wed-lock. It is out of control.
But, not if you submit to God. And there are many Christians, who are now Christians, but they still don’t get it. How can you know, unless you do it Gods way? The world, wants to see it before they believe it. But God wants you to believe it, before you see it. Its called faith, and faith in God and his word, brings evidence! We are that evidence!
Well, I am a testimony to it. And I can say, with all my heart, I know, that I know, we have survived, and gotten this far, because we both serve God. By seeking him. By taking his word to heart. And by starting this relationship based on God. Waiting before marriage, to have our personal relations.
If I was reading this, and I wanted a “secret” to finding the right mate, and living content, having a good foundation, I would take this secret to heart….
The true secret is making God the priority. Do not sin, before marriage. Wait before you have your candy. Let marriage, be sanctified by God. First it begins by your love toward God. In obedience, giving your heart. Trusting him.
JESUS SAID UNTO HIM, THOU SHALT LOVE THE LORD, THY GOD, WITH ALL THY HEART, AND WITH ALL THY SOUL, AND WITH ALL THY MIND. MATTHEW 22:37.
Without doing that, you cannot reap the benefits of true love.
But if you see that as a priority you can go on to the next phase.
A woman, does not realize, that her sexuality, her honor in this, is her weapon. If she gives herself to a man, he disarms her. And he loses interest. All is not fair, in love and war. This is critical, to strategic understanding of Gods principles, and plans. A man wants a good woman. And will respect integrity. But if he disarms her, there is no longer a challenge. No matter how much he does love her. It is no longer special or worthy. And he may even begin, to see her, with the other men in her life. And what a turn off that is to a guy. If he knows, someone else had her. Not very appealing, or worthy of honoring her, in marriage. Like the saying goes, “Why buy the cow, when you get the milk for free.”
Now a woman, who knows who she is in Christ, will even learn, where she is. She will stop, and dig in her heals, and do it Gods way. Making a new rule, that will work, for true love. Making the man, know, that sin, is no longer an option. And that if he wants to be with her, the option, has to be marriage. Holiness, commitment before God. The relationship she longs for, has to be based on God, and his principles. Adultery is adultery. In the sight of God, and he does not bless sin.
And if she is in a new relationship, which God will bring…. A wise woman, will know that… (the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom). And she will do it Gods way.
I pray for our women, our young girls. To avoid heartache. To avoid loneliness. To even avoid sexual transmitted diseases. I see so many women, who sell themselves short. And lose out, because they do not know this secret. By not having enough respect for themselves, to demand, holiness! They think by giving themselves, it will work out. And what they are doing is giving the only thing, that God honors, and that is virtue. By the blood of Jesus. Being a virtuous woman, requires, fearing God, and knowing the consequences of sin. Unhappiness, and loneliness comes, because women do not know this secret.
If they knew this, they might even avoid having, children out of wedlock. Raising children, without a father, is hard. God created the foundation of families, to be holy. When one takes one ingredient of holiness, out of the equation, the results, are not the same results God intended. God wants families to be complete. By his ways, not ours.
And this is not all the womans doing. But it can start with her. If she knows who she is in Christ, her house can be built. They, labor in vain, unless the Lord build the house. Psalm 127:1
And men, and young men, the same thing applies to you. Look and seek holiness. Be gentlemen. Don’t insist on having sex before marriage. If you want to find true love. Treat a woman with respect. You should also demand holiness. Marry the girl. Don’t disarm her. Don’t leave her broken and bruised. Because you got what you wanted. If people did this, more would be happier……
Do it Gods way. If you truly want true love. This is for even those, who have not started right. Whether or not, you started, right, in holiness. The key is to start, where you are, give it to God. If you both, commit the relationship to God, especially if you are married, and having problems…. But if you commit it to God. He will bless it. Wherever you both may be. God has to be the foundation to life! To honor him, to show love. Obey God. To see evidence. Both of you go to his throne! Pray….Repent of the sin, of premature sex. Of adultery. Commit, yourselves to holiness…..
If you want a mate…. Commit, even here to do it Gods way. And watch God, bring you a mate worthy of your love. But it won’t happen, if you compromise. It just won’t. I know. This is a secret, I share.
This is a “Secret” that the world does not know. But God knows….. Its about God. Its about living a life worthy of his calling. And if God, used me, to bring this message, for his glory, to bring others to righteousness, and to holiness, yes Godliness, I would go. I would write it, I would shout it, I would tell my neighbor. Because souls are at stake. Lives, are at stake. Hell is a very real place. People need to know, this, so they can go to other things of God. But this is one sin, of adultery, that stops people in their tracks. Because they do not obey, or they choose not to obey.
Blessings….To God be the glory. We seek God, and his Kingdom, for in his righteousness, all things are added. Thanks be to God!! Thank you for the secret of true love…..
If you do consider my thoughts here, please commit yourself to God, in holiness, because of Christ. Because of his sacrifice. Christ is coming for a church, without spot, or blemish. This is not about me judging you. I don’t know you. But this is about you judging yourself, so Christ, can live and dwell in your life, completely, without, having that sin, to hold you, back. Or your spouse or family. Consider giving your life to him. For now. For eternity. For true love…
It is the secret, Christ wants every one to know….

Father, I do praise you, and exalt your holy name. Praying to be a virtuous woman, has to come from your commandments, your ways. Your Holy word the Bible. Oh how I love your word. For not only did it become the foundation for my marriage. But daily, because I renew my mind, and we renew our mind as a couple. Love is always the root of who we are in you. And I pray, to always be mindful of this. For I do see the testimony, of our marriage, being based on holiness. I do see, because I honored you in this. I remember, when I told my husband, I wanted to do things your way. And even though, we did have somewhat “religious backgrounds.” He honored that, and yes, later confided, he was so glad, I chose to do it your way. Because it gave us as a couple something to work for. Something to build on. And every day, that we are together, we do build our lives on you. Lord, I pray for our women, of today. Our society. Lord, help our women to see, that building a marriage, building true love, has to be based on holiness. I pray, mothers would teach this to their girls. Even if they have made mistakes. I pray women, lonely women, would pray the same prayer, to start again, so they can do it your way. Bring godly men into their lives, but let them test to see if they are godly men. If a man does not honor a woman in this. He must go. I know, many men left, because I would not do it their way. I am grateful for my my dear loving husband. Lord, thank you for my marriage, and thank you for teaching me to do it your way…..In holiness. In Jesus name. Amen.

Thank you for your strong words here. I’m glad my husband and I stayed pure before marriage. We’ve been married 31 years this year. It is a marriage made in heaven.
