Create in me a clean heart Oh God, and renew a right spirit within me.  Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.  Restore unto me, the joy of thy salvation and uphold me with thy free spirit.  Psalm 51:10-12

Father, how I long to have a free spirit, completely in unison with you.  Pleasing you, in my thoughts, and spirit, and according to your word.  With love I ask this.  Lord, I just know when my thoughts are not right, and I am either thinking wrong, not in faith, doubtful, and either way, that is sinful “stinking” thinking.  Lord, take that away from me.  I ask that you please, renew my spirit, just as you did David.  From your word.  A cleansing, that will affect my heart, before you.  A  purification, that can only come from you.  I receive it by your word.  As I renew my mind, in your truth.  Forgive me.  Thank you father, for this refreshing.  In Jesus name,  Amen

A PRAYER FOR HEALING – PRAYER OF HOPE DEVOTIONAL # 5

JEREMIAH 17:14

Prayer of Hope Devotional

By intercessor and Christian author, Elena Ramirez.  All Copy Rights Reserved, and protected by law.

Heal me, Oh Lord, and I will be healed, save me, and I will be saved.  For you are the only one, I will praise.  Jeremiah 17:14

Father, I thank you for the health you have given me, and continue to give me.  I thank you for the health of my family and friends.  Lord, I pray, for the person who is reading this, who may also share this, to encourage them to pray your word.  I know, as a testimony, I had received a bad report, a very bad report, and I prayed this, over and over again, and you honored it Lord.  The report came back negative.  You honor your word, it will not return void, but prosper in that thing you send it to.  Thank you Father, for my salvation as well.  Yes, Lord, you are the only one I praise.  I praise you with all of my heart soul and might.  PRAISE GOD! Father, I pray this prayer will return with many testimonies giving you praise.  Please Father heal them, for your glory.  In Jesus name, by your stripes we are all healed.   Amen

A PRAYER FOR THE LONELY ~ ANOTHER PRAYER OF HOPE….

Are you lonely today?

May I offer a prayer to pray….

For you to find your way?

I know how it feels

when you seem to be all alone

Like no one is there,

and no one cares….

But there is one, much greater

who sits on His Throne

And he understands this pain

you have known….

He has taught me, in any need….

To come before him, on my knees..

for HE hears our cries,

our sighs, our pleas….

So for you, I will pray…

That in this need,

you will find your way….

My Lord, In your name, I claim

Glory be to thee, in every way…

and as I do pray in this petition

of faith, you see…

Please know, Lord, how much,

your counsel means to me….

So… with liberty, I ask for this need

I lift up this precious child

and ask that you guide

this person, I will call friend….

I pray, by your spirit you will send

Comfort, love and support

to fill that void..

That the enemy would TRY to use to destroy…

Fellowship with you…. But with

a love that is ever so kind and true

Would you my Lord, do something new?

Comfort, with your mercy and grace…

and with compassion take the place

of that, sadness, that tries

to steal the joy within….

Loneliness, is not of you my Lord…

For truly the joy of you our Lord,

is our strength

To meet the distance, the length….

When we seem to walk alone

With pain, and utterances

so deeply known

With a heart so broken,

sometimes all we can do is moan

But there you are with us….

To comfort, in our solace

Great is the love you have for us…

Develop our fellowship

As we offer, our praise, our worship

Seeking thy great companionship

So Lord, I do pray…. Make a way today….

In fellowship with thee, We can see….

With you, we are never lonely….

For your promise is

to never leave or forsake us

When we call on the name of Jesus

May my friend receive this

now by your Holy spirit

to hear, that you are near…

As you destroy the fear….

and you in your love

will wipe away the tears

You are so very, very close…

That the heart does know

And with time, it does grow…

There is always a new way to begin..

Lonely no more within…..

Yes, when we let Jesus in….

And this is what, I pray, today

Take the loneliness completely away….

and with your love,

Lord, please do stay…..

Ecclesiastes 4:10

For if they fall, the one

will lift up his fellow: but woe

to him that is alone when

he falleth; for he hath

not another to help him up.

Lamentations 3:28

He sitteth alone and

keepeth silence, because

he hath borne it upon him.

John 8:29

And he that sent me

is with me: the Father

hath not left me alone;

for I do always those things

that please him.

A Prayer of Hope….

My Lord, My King,

My great Father, tender is your mercy

and your kindness, that you

have extended to me, when I was in loneliness,

and in my darkness…..For your

love and word, has been a

lamp unto my feet, and a light

unto my path, to remind me

that you walk with me, you

will never leave me or forsake me.

When I am lonely, I cry out to you,

and you are there…You reach out

and love me, with the sweetest,

kindest, acceptance….Sometimes,

we can be lonely, when we miss someone,

or our hearts are “pining” for someone…

and those people, are so far away….

But we need not feel lonely,

when we call on the name of Jesus…

Thank you for reminding me,

for reminding all of us…

and as we pray for one another…

Let our hearts, unite in love,

as we are linked together

in you, that is why we

pray, for each other…You have

made our hearts to be in fellowship with you.

And even those thoughts of loneliness,

when longing in our hearts…overcomes us.

We can be made complete….

As we bring it to the cross…there is

a mercy you extend to us…Thank you

Father, Thank you so very much…

What a difference!

Now, More than anything, I sense

as I close, that you remind us,

and speak to my heart, how much

you also long for us…in fellowship

and to remember, within,

the very heart of who we are..

never to substitute anything,

for the relationship we can have in you.

Never, let anything or anyone

take your place…

I hear, and obey,

In Jesus name, Amen

PILOT IN AUSTIN TEXAS, CHOOSES DEATH

Pilot in Austin, Texas, chooses death…..

The news coverage, on the major television networks, is giving an up to the minute account, of the terrible plane crash, in Austin, Texas.

According to the reports, this man, had started his house on fire, and then, flew his plane into this building, that according to reports, was an IRS office.

The first thought that came to my mind, was the choice he made.

He chose death.

The Bible tells us:

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:  Deuteronomy 30:19

God gives us a free will.  He is a gentleman, he will not impose, his truth on us, or a lifestyle adjustment, if we do not choose it.

But as I look at this scripture, I sense how deep it can penetrate the spirit.  To remind us, to be wise, careful, of the deceitfulness of the enemy, the devil.  For he comes to kill, steal, and destroy.  That’s what happened here.  This person made a choice, that cannot be altered, or reversed, because he chose death.  Christ, came to give us life, and life abundantly, to destroy the works of the devil.

I cannot even begin to fathom, what went on this mans mind, and why he would choose death.  And I am so saddened by this, for it has also affected others, who have been hurt in the building.  I just wonder, did someone come across, his path, to speak life to him, to speak the promises of God?  Did he know the truth, at one time, and denied it?  Or was he so lost, that was his choice?  God only knows….

Life is not easy, we all know that.  But to live a life without the comfort of God, the promise, of his answers, and hope, in the salvation, we can have through Jesus Christ, makes it all worth while.

Life is a choice.  The choices we make today, can affect tomorrow.  Through prayer, through Gods word, we can find an answer.  But to totally give up, and choose death, is very sad.

I grieve for his family, and his loved ones.  I pray, we would know, even by this, that nothing is too hard, or too difficult for God.  Let us choose life, making the choice, so it will go well with us, and for our loved ones.  I pray, never to give up, but to claim the life, and promises, of Jesus Christ.   No matter what, this is my choice.  Yes, I choose life!  What do you choose?

Blessings,  Elena Ramirez Just My Thoughts….

THE POWER OF PRAYER~A PRAYER OF HOPE

A Prayer of Hope, by Elena Ramirez

ISAIAH 65:24

And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

Father, Thank you for hearing my prayer, for I praise you…..

The Power of Prayer

The power of prayer

Will get you there

By my Holy Spirit, I will hear it

My child, I am here, to help you grow

So that you would know

The power of prayer

Comes from my Kingdom

With wisdom

Those that seek me early

Will find answers truly divine

With my love,

Set your mind on things above

Making the impossible, possible

Let my word be the guide

For I have not lied

Take my word and apply it to your need

Plant it like a seed

Water it with prayer

Tender and with care

I see you are weary

But never fear with me

Just believe….

For I promise I will never leave

Make the choice

To hear my voice

Submit to the Father

For there is no other

The enemy will flee

You will see

Prayer makes a way

As you seek me and pray

Give me your troubles,

I will take them away

With the sweetest of peace

That does increase

An answer will come from my Throne

A testimony, that will be known

To testify, that I, the Lord

Your father, will do a new thing

Make your offering

For I am your King

Believe in the power of prayer

It is a holy encounter

Between you and me

My Child, near and dear to my heart

With your prayer and my word

You do impart

I will make that new start

For I long to be your first priority

As you seek me

You will see

The power of prayer

Father, today is a day of prayer…

As everyday should be.

Praying as it reaches to the

heaven’s high above, there is

an answer for us here on earth.

May the meditation and words

of my heart and mouth,

I pray, be acceptable in thy sight.

Bringing all things to the obedience

of Christ.  Renouncing your enemy,

and submitting to you.

Repenting, if there is any sin.

First Lord, may my prayer,

bring you glory and honor.  May it

be based on your word, your

promises.  May it be fulfilled,

and completed to be a testimony

of your goodness.  And through

it all, may I know, you are

with me, you will not

leave or forsake me.

Believing in your promises.

As I sense and know, how great the

sacrifice was because

of Christ.  Holy Spirit,

now comfort, convict,

teach, guide, speak

in the most holiest of

communication…and make a way,

as you dispatch angels.

Father, please answer

my prayer, the deepest

prayer within my heart.

“A Prayer of Hope.”

The prayer I wait on….

The Prayer, I pray daily…

The Prayer you have

placed in my heart.

With such a great

hunger and thirst, to see

it fulfilled in my life.

For I do seek your Kingdom

and your righteousness.

And believe, all things

will be added.

And Father,

great creator, Almighty God,

be glorified, be glorified

in me, and throughout

the earth…

in your son’s name.  Our Lord

and savior, dear Jesus.

Amen

I King 8:49

Then hear thou their

prayer and their supplication

in heaven thy dwelling place,

and maintain their cause,

I King 9:3

And the LORD said unto him,

I have heard thy prayer and

thy supplication, that thou

hast made before me:

I have hallowed this house,

which thou hast built,

to put my name there for ever;

and mine eyes and mine

heart shall be there perpetually.

Have respect therefore to

the prayer of thy servant,

and to his supplication,

O LORD my God, to hearken

unto the cry and the prayer

which thy servant

prayeth before thee:

SPEAKING TRUTH TO ONE ANOTHER

JUST MY THOUGHTS

Commentaries by Elena Ramirez

Speaking Truth To One Another

Is it difficult for you to speak truth?  I just sense by the Holy spirit, that there are those who struggle with this.  I believe speaking truth, should come naturally, but there is definitely, a skill, to speaking truth effectively, and with discretion.  In other words, to be effective, in speaking truth, you need to consider, who you are speaking truth to, and you need to choose your words carefully.

And is your truth, really the truth of the matter?  Hmmm, that’s deep.

Because in all honesty, some things that people perceive, to be truth, is false.  It is wrong.  And in all of our lives, we do tend, to meet people, who seem to know it all.  Or at least seem to think they know it all.  And they are very vocal, about speaking their truth.  Newspapers, magazines, are full of reports, that claim to be truth, but is it really truth?

As I have grown, and I pray this is wisdom, for you as well, but I have learned to listen, with my spiritual ears.  And I test the spirit.

The Bible tells usI John 4:1-2

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

So to me, that is a good rule of thumb, with especially people, I come to meet, for the first time, or even by those who profess to be Christians.  Its hard for me, to trust someone’s truth, if they do not know, Jesus Christ, as their Lord and savior.  And I say that, because the Bible tells us, that the devil is a liar.  His truth, is not truth, it is lies.  A person, who does not know Jesus Christ, as Lord and savior, will always, be clueless, to what the real truth is, until they see,  and hear, the truth of God.  And accept it.  Sadly, I may consider the source, but, because of this, I may not trust them.  To, believe, their truth that they speak.  Questions to ask, yourself though…what kind of fruit do they display?  The Bible says we will know his people if they have love for one another.  I have met Christians who do not display love, courtesy, kindness, so I don’t always trust their fruit.  To be truth.

John 8:44-45

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

I suppose I can testify to this, because before, I really came to know Jesus Christ, as my Lord, and savior, the truth of God, was very far from me.  And so, when I would communicate, with others, I was very gullible.  Believing others, it would be easy, for me, to listen to others take a situation, and put a slant on it, or to lie, or to perceive, something as truth, when in all actuality, because I did not have the spirit of God, within me, I was easily deceived.

So speaking truth now, has become more refined.  More cautious, to be careful to whom I speak my truth to.  And listen to, as well.

Now I am very careful about the truth I speak, and I really do take to heart the word of God, as my guideline, in speaking truth.  In other words, is my truth, based on the word of God?

The Bible, talks about a false balance.  that it is an abomination to God.  Are you or someone you know, stretching the truth, so it becomes unbalanced?

So, to take this further, let’s talk about how we speak to one another in truth.

I believe, it is good to speak truth, but in love.  I believe, it is good to speak truth, but to be careful not to hurt others with truth.  You just don’t hit someone over the head with the Bible, because it is truth.  You need to use grace, as you extend truth.

But I truly believe, you need to speak truth to others.  So many of us, hide our truth, the truth, more specifically of God, because we do not want to be politically incorrect, or we do not want to offend.  But, are we doing, the right thing, in the sight of God?

Are we speaking our fathers truth?  Or are we turning our eyes and our thoughts away from someone, who needs to know Gods truth, but we deny it, because maybe we are in an environment, that is not conducive to the gospel of Jesus Christ?  I know I have been in a few situations like that myself, on a job, etc.  But still, there is something within me, that speaks truth, and well let God be your guide.

I have been in that position, where I knew, that I knew, I had to speak truth to that individual.  My friend. or someone you are acquainted with. It is hard sometimes, to speak truth, because you don’t want to offend someone.  But God is watching us, and testing us.  He is seeing if we are ashamed of the gospel.  And to be honest with you, when I stand before him, on judgement day, I hope thats not in the records.

If we truly, believe, in God, and if we believe, in what Christ did for us, then we will be tested, in his truth.

God is trying to get us to that place, where he can trust us.  For his greater plan, and that we may not even see, at the moment.  And so, as we grow from glory to glory, precept upon precept, his truth, will be evident, in our lives.  His truth changes us.  It transforms us, to be vessels of light.  So don’t hide your light, don’t put it under a bushel, let it shine.  Let it shine for his glory.  Speak truth, to one another.  Think of who that person is in the eyes of God.  God may very well be using you to speak truth to that person, for his greater plan.

And as I close, I leave you with this thought, the word of God, is truth.  Maybe there is no one to speak truth to you.  But you want to know truth, you want to understand.  God wants to speak to you through his word.  Trust it at every time, every season, and place of your life.  For Gods word will go forth, and it will prosper in that thing he sends it to.  Right now, he sends it to you.  He wants to speak his truth to you.  Just go to your Bible, I dare you, and find a word of truth, for you.  You will be blessed.

John 8:32  And you shall know the truth, and the truth, shall make you free.

In Christ,  Elena Ramirez
