WHEN THE CHRISTIAN DOES NOT KNOW THEY ARE SINNING BY AN AGENDA ~ By Christian Author Elena Ramirez

IMG_1106I like to get to the root of things.  I may see the symptom of this, or that, or the other, but I always wonder, what caused this?  So I try to search and see what is the root of that matter.

Sometimes, I do that with communicating as well, I go straight to the source, and usually that leads me straight to what God says, not what man says.

So I ask you, as a Christian, are you caught up in an agenda, that may cause you to sin?  I am asking you to look at the root of why you support an agenda.

I seem to see that a lot lately.  In political matters as well, and well I will save that conversation for another time perhaps.

But, I do notice that people, tend to get passionate about something, and everything may point in one direction, but is that where it started?

See, the enemy is very deceitful.  And he may bring an “agenda” to your attention, and you may see something, that you think is right, and you may begin to become involved in it.

But as a Christian, you are commanded to obey God, so you need to pray for discernment.  And you are to be very careful, because the enemy, will use people, even people, you respected or honored, to deceive you.  Because they were deceived as well.  Or even people in the body of Christ.

I learned a long time ago, to avoid this.  Follow Christ.  Not people.  They can become a form of idolatry, that the enemy will use, to deceive you.  I don’t follow people.  I don’t support anyone, and I am careful, even if I like some in the body of Christ.

Because all honor, glory, and praise should go to God, not people!

Recently, I saw a prominent pastor, be very passionate about a matter, and he seemed to speak some truth about the matter, but what really got my “red flag” up, was that he became disloyal to someone, he had supported.  He suddenly became very outspoken, yet, he seemed to discount, other indicators, of why, it was happening.  Even in legal matters.

It all of a sudden, became about us.  And he used the body of Christ, as us.  And when ever, I see, any kind of statement, that dismisses, Christ, and it becomes, “self” I see the enemies hand in this.  Self, is prideful, it is jealous, and it is disobedient to God.  You have to get to the root of it, and see the symptoms that are symbolic, in some matters.

He got caught up in an agenda.

And agendas, can be good, but if there are indicators, that go against what God says, then you need to be careful.

Look at the fruit.  You will know them, by their fruit.

MATTHEW 7:20  KING JAMES

WHEREFORE BY THEIR FRUITS YE SHALL KNOW THEM.

And I think this is why I am writing about this today.  I saw his fruit.

Is there an “agenda” that you see, that you support, that you even think is right, but you then become a hater?  Do you start defending an agenda, and throw away, what Christ says?  Like loving one another?  Do you get so caught up in it, that you get on the wrong side, and begin fighting?  Against other Christians, brothers and sisters?  Do you become an accuser?  The Bible tells us there is a place in hell for the accuser.  Read Revelation 12:10 from a King James.

Now, I know, there are wolves in sheeps clothing, and I know, that there are deceivers, so you do need to be careful.  And many say they are Christians, but when I see, hate, or I see, hypocrisy, or lies, I speak up.  Or I see a tendency, to twist scripture.  Or only pick some of the word, and not all of it. I mark, them, and have nothing to do with anyone, who wants to find a loop hole, or dismiss what God says.

Because the goal, of the enemy is to trip you, and steal your crown.  And don’t fool yourself, salvation can be lost.  If sin, is un-repented.

But, you need to see what God says first.  Don’t play, with sin, and think there is grace.  God will judge.

I have to do a check, on myself, now and then, because I will be honest, I have made mistakes in judgement.

But I always have to look at the fruit.  At myself, and with others.  And agendas, can be nice, but if there are “hypocritical” tendencies, from someone, who has an agenda, and they try to bring it to your attention, I am like, “Ugh No!” thats not what my King James Bible says.

I become very literal in some matters.  Is money involved? Because money, can be the root of evil. Is that why you like the agenda?  There are check point questions you need to ask yourself about any agenda.

And the enemy will even use the word of God against someone, to trip them, into an agenda.  Don’t fall for it.  Especially, if they do not practice, what they preach.  Thats so hypocritical.  They say one thing, but yet, do not honor something else, thats related.  You have to see the hypocrisy.  And then search the King James bible yourself.  If you are wrong, admit it.

I truly believe, now is a time, to pray, to seek the truth, from our King James Bibles, see what God says on the matter, and look at the fruit.  Stop, look, and listen.  And if you have to pull back.  Don’t get involved.

Is an agenda, worth, losing your soul over?  No.

Just be careful, “Just my thoughts,” on this matter.

In Christ’s love, Elena Ramirez

I want to express immediately, this is not a prosperity message.  And I am actually irked in my spirit, that those in ministry who use that as a platform, to build up their own financial pockets, prey on the desperation of some, who do need financial help.

But know this, and know this with the fear of God….God is not an ATM!

God is able, yes, to help us, but when we only look to God for prosperity, we are hurting our own souls. The first goal, is to ensure salvation, a place with Christ.  A repentance, that changes our hearts, to be more like His.

A desire to change, a desire to live a good and holy life, as Christ as the center of all our thoughts, and yes desires.

So, I want to make this very clear. Please do not look at this for an easy way out, of your financial needs.  What I will share, is truth, and something, I value, as a moral choice, to please God.  But yes, can bless you.  It can make the change and the difference you need, in your finances.  Because first your soul and being will change.

I am not asking anybody for donations, and in fact nobody is helping me, but the grace of God.  And maybe thats why I can write this, because actually, I am not hurting for money.  My needs are met, we live comfortably, we live within our own means, but nothing we gain, is by begging, stealing, or borrowing.

Now yes, there are times, when I would love to have some extra money, but since I don’t, I am still content.  Why?  I suppose it is just being in total submission to God.  Counting my blessings, instead of counting on something, that is out of reach.  And maybe, just maybe it is because at this point of my life, my priorities have changed.

There are many things I did not get, or accomplish, but I just want to please God, so I have let go of the desire of things, or money, because there is so much to do for the Kingdom of God.  Maybe at this point it does not matter.  But what matters is what God sees, and feels, and yes I want to please God.

Oh it is wonderful to reach for good things, but it is how one does it, that I want to impress upon you.

Years ago, and I still remember this pastor, but I was in a board meeting, with the pastor, and a few members of a church I attended.  Maybe someone who reads this, will know,  what I am talking about.  But the discussion, was concerning, a dinner, that we were planning on having.

This church at the time, to be more definite, was a church, that did help the community, the poor, the homeless, so the goal, was good.  But meeting the needs for the goal, was where I got a check in my spirit.

In our meeting, the pastor said something, that resonated in my heart, but not in a good way.

He said; “Well no matter what we have to do, if we have to beg, steal, or borrow, we will get it done!”  And the meeting was adjourned.

Now those words, to some, may not be a big deal, but I looked at it this way.  Knowing who God is, knowing what He tells us, in His Holy word.  I really got a bad feeling in my heart.

I felt like the pastor was compromising, and being the example that he was, I felt, like it was not really meeting Gods standards.  And isn’t that what we are called to do?  I actually walked out of that meeting shaking my head.  Sad.  Now I did not hold it against that pastor, because we all say things now and then, that are not right.  But God does.  He will judge us for our words.  This is scriptural.  But it still nagged me.

God will provide for our needs, so why would the pastor say this?  This is what God says, and if anything, this is what I want you to check in your spirit, for any need.  What does God say about it?  If we only took this to heart, and did not rely on our own thinking, or the ways of the world, or even advice from someone who does not know God.  What does God say?

(BEGGING)

I HAVE BEEN YOUNG, AND NOW AM OLD: YET HAVE I NOT SEEN THE RIGHTEOUS FORSAKEN, NOR HIS SEED BEGGING BREAD.  Psalms 37:25.

What does God say about BORROWING?

FOR THE LORD THY GOD BLESSETH THEE, AS HE PROMISED THEE:  AND THOU SHALT LEND UNTO MANY NATIONS, BUT THOU SHALT NOT BORROW; AND THOU SHALT REIGN OVER MANY NATIONS, BUT THEY SHALL NOT REIGN OVER THEE.  Deuteronomy 15:6.

And how about STEALING? We all know stealing is not good!  It is actually a commandment.

THOU SHALT NOT STEAL.  Exodus 20:15.

So why am I writing about it now?  Because I think in society, without Gods truth, implemented, we can take a saying like that, beg, steal and borrow, and accept it.  It was done in a church meeting, and nobody blinked an eye.

And if they did they did not say anything.  I just feel and maybe after all these years that happened, but I know in my heart, Gods ways, always bless.  Gods truth, always brings light, and I think motive, is very important.  And we need to see, what is our motive in seeking God.  And our priorities.

I want to ask you to ask yourself, what is your priority?  Is it to get ahead, financially, and to have all your needs met?  Or is it to please God?  And the reason, I ask this, is because if we are so consumed, in making that almighty dollar, we can forget almighty God, who provides that dollar.

One thing, I have learned, and I do not take that saying as my mantra.  in fact I don’t even have a mantra.  Because I take Gods word literally, and I take it as truth.  And I take it as love.  But I am careful what word I use to inspire me, and I do choose a King James Holy Bible, as word, for food for my spirit.

But it is so easy, to get caught up in something, if we do not have Gods Holy word as a foundation.  And here was a Pastor, who should have known better, but he did not.  So I have learned, don’t cut corners, not when it comes to finances.

“Cheap is not always good, and good is not always cheap.”  And I am quoting my son, in this.  When people try to cut a corner, by cheating someone, that is stealing.  When someone has to beg, for even food, oh my, I don’t judge anybody in this, but when you have some money, what do you use it for?  Is it to get high?  Is it for sex?  Is it for booze?

See, we always have to look at what we think is the priority in life.  If we make God the priority, we don’t have to borrow, and if we do, He makes a way for us to pay it back.

But what if you cannot?  I have had family relations where they borrowed, and did not pay back.  Not to me but to my uncle, and when he died, he did not even want them at his funeral, because they lied about paying back.  It hurt my dear little uncle.  And they could not see the error of it.

So is it evil to borrow?  Only you can answer that but it may be, to steal.  And if you beg, you lose your dignity.  So, I only write this, so we can look at what we are doing.

And what about cheating others?  Or keeping that extra dollar, when the cashier gives you too much change?

These little things count, in who we are in Christ.  And I know the enemy, wants to have a legal right to steal our blessings, if we don’t submit to God, in matters like this. It is so nice to have a clear conscience.  It is so good to repent, and clean the slate, even for little things.  And once you have, cleaned the slate, keep it up.  Don’t let the devil lie to you, and tell you are something, that you are not.  You are a child of God.  But God corrects children, and we teach our children by example.

Are we doing it Gods way, or the way of the world?  I know, in my heart of hearts, we reap what we sow.  Look it up from a King James Bible.  And this is scriptural.  So what are we putting out there, in the world we live in?  What is our priorities?  Our motivation?

These are not things to judge you, but to reflect upon individually.

That is my goal, just for us to try and look and think, about what God thinks.  I think this is a wisdom skill for life, abundantly in Christ.

Blessings, and love, in Christ, Elena Ramirez

SELFISHNESS IS YOUR ENEMY AS A LIAR

Selfishness is your enemy as a Liar.  Because it denies you the truth, to grow in Christ.  It prohibits your growth, because darkness, is evident, and is keeping out the light of God.  And one cannot grow without his truth being evident, and his light.  Which is the word of God.

Selfishness, can make someone, be their own worst enemy.

As I mature in Christ, I have come to identify, one enemy of a Christian is “Selfishness.”  When you break up the word, into syllables, the first part is “self.”  Self, is the flesh, and when we react to things, by our flesh, or by self, we are showing characteristics, that are selfish.

The devil was “Self”  all he wanted was to please himself, and from the beginning, we see, how, his intention, was to deceive Adam and Eve.  Because he wanted mankind to fall.  He wanted us to miss the blessing God had intended for us.  Because he deceived Eve, to think about “self.”

I have always thought, that God became jealous, for us, because we did not go to him, to verify what the devil said, and Eve took the bait, and ate from the fruit, from the tree of good and evil.  I just wonder, what would have happened, if the truth, had been exposed, from the devils lies?  For, it did bring curses, upon us because of their disobedience.  But Praise God, the blood of Jesus, can cleanse us from that.

So lets expose the lie from the devil, even here, about “selfishness”  by the Holy spirit.

Being selfish is evil.  It is stingy, it is only thinking of one-self, and if one does not see it, and catch it, and change it by Christ.  It will rot someone.  I don’t like selfishness.  I hate it in fact.  And there have been times, when I have seen it, and it really bothers me.

When I have seen it in Christians, I have many times, taken a deep breath and walked away, and then there are times, when I have called someone on it.  Because of any characteristic, that the devil will use, to hurt another Christian, is to leave “selfishness” unchecked.  Here are some characteristics to Selishness.

Ego-someone who is on a power trip, or who has a big attitude about self.  Me, me, me, only thinking of me attitude, that excludes the plans, or even aspirations of others.  Pride-expresses itself, by not giving in, or being humble.  And will not relent, even when the truth is present.  Another characteristic of pride, is noteable, when it comes to sharing ideas, concepts, instructions etc.  And it won’t offer truth.  Greed is another characteristic, of selfishness, it is constantly looking to hoard, or take on more, and more, and more….but not sharing, or living simple.

Because selfishness, has lost control, and it does not see anything else, besides being fulfilled.  That can be with sex, drugs, smoking, anything, that has to constantly be fulfilled by the flesh.  The sad thing is, when we are out of line in this way, the flesh is never fulfilled.  We have to see this on the inside.  The spirit.  Thats why Christ tells us to deny ourselves.  And pick up his cross.

These kind of people, do not want others to grow.  The sad thing is, and I have seen it recently, is that, honesty is not evident.

In fact, this is probably why I am writing this.  Because recently I met someone, who wanted to play a game with me, where it was concerning just giving me a plain, simple honest answer.  Yet, they professed to be a Christian.  But the fruit was not Christ like.  Nor was it in love.  By the way, I do forgive this person, and I pray, I am also forgiven, because strife did become evident.  And if people, bite and devour one another, they will be consumed.  So, I do bring this to the throne of God, for deliverance.  What the enemy intended for evil, I pray God will use for many for deliverance from selfishness.

Any way, I won’t get into specifics, about what totally transpired, but it expressed the fruit of selfishness from this person, and it reminded me, Christ, said for us to lay down our cross and follow him.  Denying ourself.

This is hard to do as a Christian sometimes.  And we are all growing on the vine at different places, but this is darkness, and it blocks our growth as Christians.

We are called, to help one another, or to see that one can grow.  And if anything, we are commanded not to lie one another. And to speak truth in love. Ephesians 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.

But when I see someone, shifting from the truth to divert from one subject to another.  I see deception, I see the characteristics of the devil, and I see a liar.  And dear ones, as Christians those kind of characteristics are not things that should be evident.  In any one, who is professing to be a Christian.  Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.  Ephesians 4:25.

We need to grow up.  In Christ.  We need to take the word of God and renew our minds.  We need to walk in love.  We need to see others needs, besides our own.  And not only be motivated, to want to be blessed for ourselves, but for others.  Love should be that motivation.  When it is not evident, it is sad to say, but it is selfishness……This is not what God has called us to be.

In our world, there are so many hurting, and broken people.  And as Christians, if we cannot learn just in little things, to be honest, and not selfish, we cannot do as much, as we could.  We ourselves, cannot grow.

And thats with Gods help.  His supernatural presence of love, and of giving.  God has blessed so many of us, to be a blessing to others, and when we get caught up, in just stupid, little things, that are motivated by self.  Then, we are not being used by God.  But by the enemy.  We need to see if we are ever having characteristics of him, so we should always be in a place of submission to God, resisting the devil, and he will flee.

I pray, that the body of Christ would see this.  Because this is one thing, that is not often brought up, but it needs to be in the forefront of our thinking, and our praying….Lord, take selfishness away from me, and instead, let your spirit reign, in my heart.

We cannot pick up our cross, and deny ourselves, until we come to the cross, repentant, humble in the sight of Almighty God.  To begin seeing self has to be put aside.  Then we can pick up, the cross, at least worthy enough, by the blood of Jesus, to begin being effective for Christ.

And then, that the spirit of Christ will be evident, in our giving, in our love, and in our hearts, not to lie.  For  in his giving, Christ gave us the greatest example of giving, by his life, by going to the cross, for our sins, and by love.

This needs to be evident in us.  Selfishness is your enemy, it is a liar.  Don’t listen to it any more.  Know what Gods word says, and be obedient, as you give of yourself.  Christ will bless you. Don’t lie to yourself any more.  Or others. See it, and bring it to the cross, and leave it there, and then you can pick up your cross, to serve Christ.

Selfishness, needs to be dealt with by the root, and destroyed, cleansed, by the blood of Jesus.  So one truly can be the best they can be, by giving this to God for change.  There will be fruit, of righteousness, for it will not longer be motivated by self, but by Christ, and his giving.

Just my Thoughts, with love, I speak this in truth…

Elena Ramirez

A Prayer of Honor….

Father, I thank you and praise you, that you have shown me who I truly can be in Christ.  Father, your word says, you turn from the proud, and you lift up the humble.  So, I do come before you humble.  Lord, all I know, is I don’t like the characteristic of selfishness, or a liar.  Lord, we need to speak truth, one to another, in love.  Putting away lying.  Thinking of others, and how they can grow.  How we can be the best, we can be for you.   I know, I have not always, walked in this.  Maybe that is why I hate it.  Because I have seen my own selfishness, and how it takes away from growing, who I truly can be in you.  I see, how it brings darkness, even to a Christian.  Renewing my mind, by your word, has brought me to a place, to see myself, to leave it at the cross.  I just pray the Body of Christ, would also see this.  So we can be effective for you.  Using all the word of God, not just parts of it, to justify myself, but to justify you, Lord.  Thank you for letting me write this today, I pray it brings some perspective, to be careful, not to have a spirit of selfishness, for it is a liar.  And I know you can see through a liar.  Change this in me, and in all of us, if this ever becomes evident.  We need to surrender to you.  To be the best we can be in Christ.  To deny ourselves, and carry the cross.  In Jesus name.  Amen

IS GREED YOUR MOTIVATOR?

HAVING THE UNDERSTANDING DARKENED, BEING ALIENATED FROM THE LIFE OF GOD THROUGH THE IGNORANCE THAT IS IN THEM, BECAUSE OF THE BLINDNESS OF THEIR HEART.  WHO BEING PAST FEELING HAVE GIVEN THEMSELVES OVER UNTO LASCIVIOUSNESS TO WORK ALL UNCLEANNESS WITH GREEDINESS.  EPHESIANS 4:18-19.

Greed is ugly, because as we can see in this scripture above, it makes people blind in their heart.  And people really cannot see what they are doing, because they want more, and more, and more.  To a point where an “unclean” spirit comes upon them, and thinking becomes very extravagant, and people lose themselves to a point where they are no longer being ethical, in their dealings etc.  It drives things to a point, where things get out of control.

Greed is something, that is really not brought up in Christian circles.  Or at least, I do not hear anything coming from the pulpit.  For we are taught to give.  The Bible tells us God loves a cheerful giver.   I hope by what I am writing, that we would look at the way we practice business, the way we do give, and at what extent will we go to, to get that dollar.

For it seems lately, integrity, honorable practices are pushed aside, and it seems like so many pursue getting your money, but at what cost?  At the point of greed?

What if I told you, you would be in jeopardy of losing your soul, because greed, has turned into an idol for you.  And, that is an abomination to God.  MORTIFY THEREFORE YOUR MEMBERS WHICH ARE UPON THE EARTH: FORNICATION UNCLEANNESS, INORDINATE AFFECTION, EVIL CONCUPISCENCE AND COVETOUSNESS, (GREED) WHICH IS IDOLATRY.  COLOSSIANS 3:5

In the following scriptures, we see how much it offends God.  EZEKIEL 22:12 IN THEE HAVE THEY TAKEN GIFTS TO SHED BLOOD, THOU HAS TAKEN USURY AND INCREASE, AND THOU HAST GREEDILY GAINED OF THY NEIGHBORS BY EXTORTION, AND HAST FORGOTTEN ME, SAITH THE LORD GOD. Have you forgotten God dear one?  Have you forgotten to take him at his word, and to trust him?  Or do you manipulate situations, to your advantage, so you can come out, with more?  That is greed.  We have to be very, very careful in things like this.  Because if we do not, we will see truly the love of money is the root of evil.

I TIMOTHY 6:10-11 FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL, WHICH WHILE SOME COVETED AFTER THEY HAVE ERRED FROM THE FAITH, AND PIERCED THEMSELVES THROUGH WITH MANY SORROWS.  BUT THOU MAN OF GOD, FLEE THESE THINGS: AND FOLLOW AFTER RIGHTEOUSNESS, GODLINESS, FAITH LOVE PATIENCE, MEEKNESS.

Have your turned from faith?  Are you sorrowful, because you do not have, as well?  We are called to be content, with what we have.  And in all things, there is a balance.  Read Phillipians Chapter 4.  Here we are reminded to be content, and yet to know.  God will supply all of our needs, according to his riches, in glory through Christ Jesus.

Having money, is not evil.  Gods blessings can be poured on someone, and they can have very much so, and abundantly.  But how it is gained, how it is prioritized, can be greed.  How it is used, is greed.  If you have, and you do not bless others, that is greed.

We see greed in our society, at the grocery store, in housing etc.  Its all over the place.  When I was growing up, and this may age me, but I could buy a soda pop for ten cents.  A candy bar for a nickel, and a loaf of bread for about fifty cents.  I even have photographs in front of a gas station, and gas was thirty two cents a gallon.  Those days are gone, long gone.  So, I may be getting older, but I see, we are not getting better in this, for there is a spirit of greed.

The other day, my husband and I, with our son, went to a prominent restaurant, and I ordered a hot turkey meal.  The turkey was cold, and was not worth the $50.00 we payed for a dinner out.  Quality is lousy, and I am not trying to complain, but what it does come down to, is that, there are so many out there, asking a high price for this and that, but people are not getting their moneys worth.

I see a lot of this.  Whats happened to America?  All I know, is that when we get to a point, where things are not working, like our economy, we have to ask ourselves, what is our motivator?  The Bible tells us, seek ye FIRST the Kingdom of God, and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, all things will be added to you.  Luke 12:31.

We are not doing that.  Forcing giving to the poor, and taking from the rich, is socialism.  I don’t like that either.  I want to earn a living, and be fair, honest, and present things honest in the sight of God and man.  ROMANS 12:17. I don’t want to rip people off.  I don’t want my government doing that to me either.  I want to give because this is what God wants me to do.  But I don’t want my government enforcing that.

I want to love, because I live, move and have my being because of my Lord.  In just my thoughts, in my life, and in every aspect of business.  I don’t want greed to ever be evident.

I just think even here, that we need to know, we reap what we sow.  These are principles from God.  In other words, what goes around comes around.  I know I don’t want those kind of things coming back to me.

I just think by writing this, we need to look at it, from the pulpit too.  Our churches, need to bring the principles of what the word of God says concerning this.  Greed is a problem that we really need to look at, and see, and study within ourselves, to ask.  Am I motivated by greed?  Am I doing what God would want me to do?

We are called to love one another, if you love God, you will love your fellow person.  So that means, you will think about the way you relate to someone.  Is it by greed and what you can take from someone?

I tell you in all honesty, if that is you, I hope, you would consider, and reevaluate, whether or not you or motivated by greed?  Or are you motivated by God, and his spirit…..

And if you do see greed, within, all you have to do, is go to our Lords throne.  Repent, and ask him what to do.  He may even have you restore.  He will take away that sin, and the spirit of it, from you, as you seek his kingdom and his righteousness.

Just my thoughts, with love, in Christ.  Elena Ramirez

A PRAYER OF HOPE….

Father, I ask for your guidance in this for all of us.  Lord, we are in some strange economical times, as it is.  I just have the feeling, and know, that if we did things differently, as a nation, and individually, we would not be in this predicament.  I just know, if we tried to do things your way we would see the change.  Lord, you tell us the enemy, comes to kill, steal, and destroy.  Lord, I don’t think anyone of us, really would want that in us, unless, we would choose to disregard what Christ did.  For Christ came to give life, and life abundantly.  For each one of us.  On earth, and as it is in heaven.  Father, I know you had me write this for a reason.  May it convict, but not condemn.  For you are so merciful, if we just go to your throne, and ask for forgiveness.  You do.  Thank you Lord, for all of my blessings.  Thank you, remind me to be a giver as well.  In Jesus name, Amen
