I have this spiritual vision, of when we sin, and what happens. And I will share it with you here.
But when we sin, the enemy, has a net, he uses to immobilize us, to blind us, and its the spirit of wickedness. It dulls our senses. Spiritually. We become blind. We are in a daze. The pleasure of sin, may hypnotize you, or weaken you. But when you allow sin. It somehow or another connects us to the enemy, and he adds a link to the chain, so you can be in bondage. It is wickedness.
YE THEREFORE, BELOVED, SEEING YE KNOW THESE THINGS BEFORE, BEWARE LEST YE ALSO, BEING LED AWAY WITH THE ERROR OF THE WICKED, FALL FROM YOUR OWN STEADFASTNESS. II Peter 3:17 KJV.
Imagine it, like a glob of glue, this net, and it comes over you, but you cannot do anything, to stop it, because you are now a prisoner of the devil.
Like in a horror movie.
I see how then the enemy uses that, to continually use you, and the more you sin, the more links to the chain, the enemy has, to tie you to hell.
You know you are tied in bondage, but you do not know what to do.
FOR I PERCEIVE THAT THOU ART IN THE GALL OF BITTERNESS, AND IN THE BOND OF INIQUITY. ACTS 8:23 KJV.
Well, I will tell you what to do. Seek God. Repent, for those sins, humble yourself in the sight of God, and He will release you.
See, He is a shepherd by nature. And you a little lamb, have been entrapped, by the enemy, but only HE can come and save you.
Heres another analogy to look at as well. You are trapped, in brush, there are thorns there that keep you trapped, and you cannot escape. You call on Jesus. He comes to you, because He hears you calling Him. You plead with Him, to set you free. He will, but He needs you to accept Him as the Shepherd.
FOR YE WERE AS SHEEP GOING ASTRAY; BUT ARE NOW RETURNED UNTO THE SHEPHERD AND BISHOP OF YOUR SOULS. I PETER 2:25 KJV.
He needs you to repent, so you can be right with God. But since He is the way, the truth, and the life, as John 14:6 says, you have to acknowledge Him, and give your life to Him. To take care of you. You have to accept His truths, you have to accept He died for your sins, on the cross, so you can have life.
I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD: THE GOOD SHEPHERD GIVETH HIS LIFE FOR THE SHEEP. JOHN 10:11 KJV.
As you repent, He gently pulls you out of that net, out of that brush. He takes the chains off of you, so you are no longer in bondage, tied up, and He removes that wicked spirit that held you in bondage, and replaces it, with a sweet spirit of peace, and hope, and joy.
IF INIQUITY BE IN THINE HAND, PUT IT FAR AWAY, AND LET NOT WICKEDNESS DWELL IN THY TABERNACLES. JOB 11:14 KJV.
He replaces that spirit of wickedness, with His love, the Love from God.
This is the power of God, when we totally submit, to God. But when we do not, when we reject Him, reject His truths, reject love, and reject walking in love. When we hold onto the ways of the world, or continue to sin, knowing what God says, we are, tied up more and more to the devil, and that is exactly what he wants to do. That is to deceive you, blind you, and keep you in bondage.
When we don’t know what God says, and this is why the enemy blinds people more and more. They do not get into their King James bibles. If they search and use another version, that does nothing. Because the holiness has been taken away.
Wickedness, is an ugly thing. But it becomes more apparent, the more, and more you sin.
This is why, we should desire, not to sin. Not even one little sin, because it affects our relationship with God. He cannot be in a place that is not holy. As much as He loves us, if we choose to walk away from Him. He will let us. Yes, He may remind us, even try to stop us, by reminding us of His love. But He is a gentleman, and He will let you choose who you want to serve.
FOR THOU ART NOT A GOD THAT HATH PLEASURE IN WICKEDNESS: NEITHER SHALL EVIL DWELL WITH THEE. PSALMS 5:4 KJV.
I guess, that analogy of the little lamb, reminds me of me. Because I did feel trapped. I was someone who knew the Lord, but I departed from His ways, as a young adult. I felt like the enemy had a chain on me, and I could not escape.
I could not move, every time I did, the brush the thorns from the brush would cut me. I cried to God. I cried to Jesus. I was in bondage from my sins. I wanted to be free. I felt like He came, and set me free. But as He did, He reminded me, it was my fault for letting the enemy in, it was my fault for not seeing the truth. He cleansed me, and kept me near Him.
I never wanted to leave Him after that. So now, He allows me my freedom, but it taught me, never to leave His side. Because that enemy, the devil would love nothing else but to entrap me again.
Those chains, are no longer tied on me. I have no desire to be in wickedness, or in sin, because of what He has done for me. But folks, we have our part. When I hear people, say, if there was a God, why would He allow this or that? And all I know, is that I cannot always answer that, but I can answer my part in a situation. I can look at where I went wrong, and if its not with God, its wrong. I cannot let religion, or any kind of method, dictate to me, what I should do. What does God say? And that is according to my King James bible. And that bible is holy.
This is why I am who I am. And I will not apologize to anybody, about it, or let them try to invalidate who I am in Christ. As much as I have gone through, in my life, I hold onto God, for dear life. It keeps me free….
IF THE SON THEREFORE SHALL MAKE YOU FREE, YE SHALL BE FREE INDEED. JOHN 8:36 KJV
I hope this inspires you. Maybe you can see those chains on yourself, and you need to get free.
