GOD IS NOT MOCKED THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FORGIVENESS AND RESPECT ~ By Christian Author Elena Ramirez

P1010003.jpg

As God is my example, of course I forgive. I release the poison. I will not keep it in my heart. I will obey God.

But as God is my example, I do not tolerate disrespect. GOD IS NOT MOCKED. I release the disrespect and the mockery, and I stand my ground. I take back my respect from anybody who tries to steal it.

Disrespect is a form of mockery, and if my Lord, does not tolerate it, why should I? I don’t have to, and I can keep my peace and walk away.

It does not mean I do not forgive it means, I know who I am in Christ.

BE NOT DECEIVED; GOD IS NOT MOCKED: FOR WHATSOEVER A MAN SOWETH, THAT SHALL HE ALSO REAP. FOR HE THAT SOWETH TO HIS FLESH SHALL OF THE FLESH REAP CORRUPTION: BUT HE THAT SOWETH TO THE SPIRIT SHALL OF THE SPIRIT REAP LIFE EVERLASTING. AND LET US NOT BE WEARY IN WELL DOING; FOR IN DUE SEASON WE SHALL REAP IF WE FAINT NOT. AS WE HAVE THEREFORE OPPORTUNITY, LET US DO GOOD UNTO ALL MEN, ESPECIALLY UNTO THEM WHO ARE OF THE HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH.
GALATIANS 6:7-10 KJV.

I hope these thoughts will encourage someone.  You see, long story short, if you have ever been disrespected by someone, it feels like they have taken something away from you.  And its hard to regain trust, or even a sense of confidence, when you allow someone to do that.  Even after you forgive.  But Christ did not tell us, to trust someone who does that.

It has happened to me a few times, and even by family members.  So recently when an offense occurred between me and a former friend, I knew I could not allow it.  And I hate to say former, but right now, it does not look good.  I will always care though for this person.

I had tried to extend grace, but that same grace was not extended to me.  I called it for what it was.  Respect.  Respect was not given to me.  I was being snubbed and ignored.  And I took my respect back.

I walked away.  And sometimes you have to do that.  The sad thing, is, I love the person.  But this person, would not give me the courtesy, that I extended.  And it took me a while.  To see, it, but really I see and believe God showed me.

I was in a spiritual battle for over two weeks, and I was trying to keep communication opened, but it was closed shut in my face.  The Lord showed me this person was given to change.  Said one thing, but yet, was being offended with me, and it just did not make sense.

MY SON, FEAR THOU THE LORD, AND THE KING:  AND MEDDLE NOT WITH THEM THAT ARE GIVEN TO CHANGE.  Proverbs 24:21.  KJV.

This person was given to change.  The actions, the “heartfelt intentions” this person said they had, did not match the actions.

I think it took me a while because sometimes, you don’t see it.  Its subtle, its in subliminal ways, that people treat you, that may be indirect, but keep you puzzled.  Or frustrated, because you cannot resolve issues.  This is where I was with this person.  But I did not see it, because love and friendship should be gracious.  Should be kind, it should be honorable.  I gave it, in grace.  But grace was not extended to me.

But if you are tolerated, and not celebrated.  Look and see the signs.  Its not in the gift one gives, but in the respect.

You need to see what people really mean, by their actions.  Not so much their words.  But their actions.  Silence is not always golden, my friend.

And if you are an opened book, like I am.  You expect someone to be honest, and opened with you.  Respect yourself, and reject anybody who will not respect you.  Anyone who tries to control you, by that is using manipulation.  And the KJV scriptures talk about that, as being like witchcraft.  Nope walk away.

Remember its not just about forgiving.  Its about knowing who you are in Christ.  He did not call us to become door mats, or someones stepping stone.  Yes, forgive so the poison, will not penetrate you.  But respect yourself enough, to walk away.  Know who you are in Christ.  Put on your armor of God, and walk away.  Quench those fiery darts, by His love.

I hope this helps someone.

Blessings, and love,

KNOWING THE DANGER OF ANGER ~ By Christian Author Elena Ramirez

IMG_2112

When I write these posts “Just My Thoughts” or anything I write I usually do it with the goal to help someone, including myself.  Writing is an outlet, a way to express myself, that sometimes I am at a loss of words to speak.

But when I write, I usually write from experience.  I mean who wants to listen to someone who does not understand, really what is happening, or who wants to listen to someone who may not even have the experience in some matters.  I do have that understanding in anger.

After all, I am a warrior.  In many ways, I fight.  I fight, for what is right, and I fight for survival.  I fight, if I have to fight.  But in that I have also seen anger rise up in me.  I have seen a side of me, that has lost control.  And actually that is not a very pretty sight for anybody.  Because one can say, or do things, that are irreversible.  One can make some mistakes, that after the fact, will show no self-control.  And regret.

Regret, is a terrible thing to have, even if you feel God forgives you.  Even if someone else forgives you.  Because if you have no self-control.  You see yourself, the error of not having self-control, and it will grieve you.  I have been grieved.

And you need self-control.  You need to let the peace of God really rule your heart.  You cannot have that without Jesus.  Seriously.

I understand this.  I understand the anger in me any way.  I may not understand your anger.  But I understand, how hurt, pain, sorrow, no resolution to issues, can affect your spirit.  In anger.  Anger if not checked, can grow, and fester into a fire, that becomes out of control.

So you need to know yourself.  But more then anything you need to know Jesus.  You need to know what He says about anger, and you need to know if you do not fix this even at a moment like this, where you are maybe at some peace, but you recognize the characteristic in you.  It could get out of control.  You want to be able to see it, stop it even now, and prevent anger.

The thing with anger, and I have seen that in myself, is that something very trivial can set it off.  Spilled milk.  Seriously, self control has to see the symptoms, to stop it.  To give it to God.

Yesterday, I was angry, for a moment.  Frustrated, and I cried out to God.  Please help me.  Because I have been dealing with something that has made me angry, for a very long time.  But I have been hiding it.  And yes, I have been dealing with it, but it could have gotten very out of control yesterday, but it did not.  I thank God.

I do not want it to be expressed in anger.  I want it to be expressed knowing God has an answer.  That peace, will rule my heart.  That I have control, because of who Christ is in me.  Just that cry out to God, helped me.  Because I realized, I need Him.  I surrendered myself to Him.  To His authority, to His ways.  To His truth, and love.  And the anger passed.  And to His glory, something happened, I got hope in this matter.

I want to encourage you.  Because I know who Christ is.  And there is nothing too big, or too small for Him to handle.  He wants to help you.  But you have to let go of that pride, or anger, or self-will that says, I don’t need Him in this.  You do.  Believe me, you do.  We all need Him.  I don’t care who you think you are.  Those attributes you may have, or those characteristics that have been a part of any kind of success, you may have, can be gone.  So you need God.

He is the only one who can change our hearts, our minds, our souls, our spirits.  Whatever it is friend, He can resolve it for you.  It may not even be in your time, but if you do your part, to begin the process, you will see the progress.  HE sees us, HE knows we need Him.  But we have to do the calling on Him.  He is the King of Kings, and Lord, of Lords.  He has the ability, we just have to submit to Him.

I hope this helps someone.  I truly believe the Lord has me writing this for someone, who is so on the verge of exploding, that the consequences could be detrimental to your health, to your well being, to someone you love, or even your career.  Don’t let the devil have his way in this.

Yes, we are all entitled to be angry, now and then, but in that anger, be careful it does not turn into sin.  Or you go to sleep with anger, there are reasons why God warns us not to do that.

BE YE ANGRY AND SIN NOT:  LET NOT THE SUN GO DOWN UPON YOUR WRATH:  EPHESIANS 4:26.

Give it to God, even now.  Give Him your anger, and sin not. He will help you.

Blessings, and love, in Christ,  Elena Ramirez

WHAT IS YOUR MOTIVATION TO PRAY?

Why do you pray? To ask God for something? Wouldn’t it be more practical, more respectful, to pray to God for who He is? More loving? Instead of what He can give? I ask myself that as well.

You see, I want answers to prayer. But, I also want answers for you. We are learning. We have to learn who God is, to understand Him. His ways are excellence. I just think we have to know, He deserves glory, and honor, and praise. True worship. Not this lip service.

Because He knows our hearts. Our minds, from even afar. And one cannot fool God. One cannot play church, or play religious, or pray they are this, or that, because God sees.

So, if you could see in the spirit, you could see between good and evil. But you would choose to know good. To know God. I sometimes, think about the source of how it all began, from Genesis. My King James bible. That is not corrupted. But is holy and anointed. Stored in heaven and earth for answers. His way. Not mans, corrupted versions.

God created Adam and Eve. He had a plan for them. But they were so naive. They listened to the devil. Instead of going to God, to confirm what He told them. Don’t eat from the tree of good and evil. God never intended for us to know evil.

Yet we are inundated with it, in so many ways, but we still have the choice to know God, to communicate with Him, to not listen to the devil, and to obey what God says. Don’t know sin, in our lives. Don’t disobey God in this, because we reap the consequences of it.

Seeking God, for what He can give us, is just insulting. Or just praying when we have to. For a need etc. If we do not develop our relationship with Him. And that begins by recognizing the commandments. The law. The sovereignty of who He is. His power! My goodness, He is the creator of heaven and earth! There is none like Him. No comparison.

So we are grateful for grace. Yes, grace is extended, but you cannot have grace, without seeing what God expects. You cannot expect grace if you do not do your part by seeing with your true heart.

And when you do, then you see what Christ did on that cross. It was not pretty. It was not easy. He suffered for our sins, for us, to have a way out. He is that way, the truth, and life. John 14:6 paraphrasing King James.

When you see what He did on that cross, love truly comes in your heart. You see He is the great shepherd. The protecter. The healer, the deliverer. You don’t just go to Him, for what He can give you. You go to Him because there is none like Him. There is no other source of love as great.

And so to insult Him, yes I say it is an insult, when we don’t develop knowing who He is, and you constantly ask Him for things, or expect Him to answer our prayers, without repenting, we are not seeing who He really is.

Friends, all I know, is this is important in our relationship with Him, and with anybody. For that matter. Do you only go to your friends, to see what they can give you? No, and if you do, how selfish that is. They see through it. They like God, may not say anything, but they see through it. God is silent, but there will be a day, we will hear, very clearly what He expected, especially when we stand before Him.

Yet, we are given this chance now, to make it right. To develop our relationship with Him, now. To ensure our salvation. To see what He did on the cross. To repent. To make Him Lord and savior. With our King James bibles, with prayer, that is serious, about talking to Him, and seeking Him for who He is. Not what He can give us.

Why do you think I serve Him? Because there is no one like Him. He pulled me out of a pit. Many do not know my story. My full testimony. You may know parts. But you don’t know, what I have suffered, or gone through. And I may never say all of why. Because as much as I am an open book, there is much, I cannot even put into words. But He loved me. He showed me. He guides me, and speaks to me. And I still get it wrong sometimes. But He does not give up on me, even though sometimes, I have given up on myself. This is Why, I so very much choose to obey Him, serve Him, because He literally saved me. But I had to open my eyes.

And I have made my mistakes, even in this strategy of understanding. This is why I do not ask any one for money. Or for support. In my ministry.

I want to please Him, for the right reasons. Concerning my relationship with Him, and with you.

When I pray, I want my prayers heard. I want your prayers heard too.

IF I REGARD INIQUITY IN MY HEART, THE LORD WILL NOT HEAR ME. PSALMS 66:18.

Much love, Elena

Lord, forgive me, if I have gotten off track on this. You are the way, the truth, and life. Help me to develop my relationship with you, because of who you are, not what you can give. Help me to see, what pleases you. So I can obey you. I thank you for what you did on the cross, for my sins. For taking the penalty of sin away from me. But let me never forget how you suffered, and died. You did it for me. You did it for all of us. I never want to insult you, by just asking what you can give. Yes you do give, but I cannot make it the priority. The priority has to please you, and know you first. In love, in obedience, in serving you. You made me a daughter, that is a servant. To you the King of Kings. This is a relationship. Not a religion. Not rules, regulations, and traditions made by men, or groups. It is knowing you. With love, because you gave your love to me and to all of us.  I am thankful Lord!  Thank you.

In Jesus name. Amen.

Mirror, mirror on the wall…..

I Samuel 12:21 And turn ye not aside:  for then should ye go after vain things, which cannot profit, nor deliver; for they are vain.

So what is the strange connection between idolatry and vanity?

Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.  Galatians 5:26.

Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.  I Corinthians 10:14.

Well one must go to the root of spirits.  The root of good and evil.  One must try and understand, this is a spiritual characteristic.  One must see who God is, and yes see who the devil is.

We are told that the devil, was beautiful to look at.  He was, the morning star.  He wanted to lift himself up, and was jealous of God, and God kicked him out of heaven.

Luke 10:18 And He said unto them, I beheld satan as lightning fall from heaven.

Another terrible trait.  Jealousy.

Do you ever notice something about God?  He hides Himself.  His glory, is so bright, that when Moses talked to Him, his countenance changed, and God placed Moses in the cleft of the rock.  One could see that could be modesty, if we like Him, want to be in holiness.

Now, idolatry, is anything, that tries to lift itself up higher then God.  Many scriptures tell us, God is a jealous God.  And there are many scriptures that tell us how offensive that is to God.

So lets look at an example of idolatry, in people we admire.  People, who are beautiful.  Do you know by trying to imitate them, that is idolatry?  That spirit of who they are, can be transferred.  No one, but Jesus, is worthy to imitate in life.  And when we take our eyes off of God, we are so open and prone to receive spirits that are not of Christ.  Why would anyone of us, not be wise enough to see the deception of that?  But it happens.  Even with good Christian people.  Who do not know better.

I just feel led to write this.  I am older, I have made many mistakes myself, in vanity.  But I think I have learned a few things as well.

We must guard our spirits.  We must try to go back to the old ways.  Yes keep your physical body healthy, and take good precautions to care that you look healthy, and well groomed.  I was going to say take “pride” in your appearance.  But that again, is a characteristic, that we must see God hates.    Pride puffs itself up.  It says, I am better then you.  Its just wrong.

All I know, especially in these times, everything seems to be centered around peoples looks, their money, and even in the body of Christ, people are not seeing it.

Recently, I saw a page about a famous pretty woman, and she ranted and raved, about how pretty she was, and that she never had surgery to enhance her looks.  It just seemed oh so conceited.

What a terrible example we have given our young women.  Our girls.  It cheapens them.  It lowers their value in the sight of God.  What happened, to modesty, innocence?  Chastity, yes, it may be old fashioned.  But with std’s and sin, that does not promote saving yourself for marriage, our society is in trouble.  Being vain, only contributes to this.

I just hope you take this to heart.  I know I have repented, for thoughts about myself, that must seem so vain in the sight of God.  My own other sins, and just things…. Concerning clothing, and yes appearance.

We all have to work on our souls.  One may be beautiful on the outside.  Which people do look at, but God looks at the heart.

What does He see, when He sees us?  It is an on going process. In repentance, and innocence, and modesty.

I know, people don’t talk about holiness.  But it is important.  Our spirits, our hearts, should only try to reflect Christ.  Be beautiful because of who Christ is in your heart.  You do not need to imitate anybody else.

Beware of the spirit of idolatry, and vanity.

Blessings, and love,

Elena Ramirez

I hope these scriptures, bring some light to this subject.

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain:  but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.  Proverbs 31:30

Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness:  I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.  Ezekiel 28:17

Give unto the Lord the glory due unto His name:  bring an offering, and come before Him:  worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.  I  Chronicles 16:29.

Ezekiel 16:15 But thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playest the harlot because of thy renown, and pourest out thy fornications on every one that passed by:  his it was.

I have been thinking about hope lately.  It makes you want to live for that happiness, you get from that thing.  So I just keep adding on to the list, of the things I still hope for…..

Hope is a wonderful thing.  It encourages you, it inspires you, it motivates you, to even get up, and just live your life.  Without hope, life can be hard.  It can be very discouraging, to even try.

When I first started in my ministry, and I began writing.  I began writing Prayers of Hope.  Or a Message of Hope.  I just wanted to inspire someone, because I know God.  And so I would write poems, and different messages, with a prayer, but always with the foundation of scripture to give that true hope.  Because to be honest, Gods word, always has given me hope.  These are seeds I have planted.

I have always hoped in God.  And as I continue even writing here, I pray you have hope.  And more then anything in God.

I have hoped to fulfill many things in my life, and I find even at this place in my life.  I have had hope in doing things, but they did not always bear fruit.

When I was a young woman, I loved to sing.  And in fact, I pursued that for a while.  I even made a 45 record, with my own money, and hired my friends who were musicians, and a recording studio to make the tape.  Then I paid for the records to be manufactured.  I have quite a few left.  But, I had pursued this because I wanted a dream to come true, I had “hope” in it.

Well, long story short, that never worked out.  And to be honest, I did not like the lifestyle of being in bars, to be heard.  So there went that hope.  No one discovered me, and no one cared, if I sang or not.  So I gave up my hope.

For many years, I worked in the business corporate world.  I learned computers, I learned business, and it gave me an opportunity, to develop skills.  Skills I later applied to my writing, and learning of computers.  But I never had hope in working in the corporate world.

When I got married, I worked for a while.  But it was such a hardship, on our son, who needed me, to take care of him.  So I quit working.  No one can take better care of your child then you.  But I still had hope.

It has been tough, I have not worked for over 26 years about.  But I began pursuing my writing for the Lord.  I felt, like it was my calling.  To bring truth, to inspire others, with Gods word, to have hope.  In writing. In being an author.  But an author, who has not seen a profit.

Sometimes, when I look back, I see the progress in my own life.  How I have grown in Gods word, how it ministers to me, and it gives me hope.  In many ways, nothing has changed.  I have written two books, in paper, as books to hold, and one electronically.  But no one has seen my potential.  No one, has tried to help me.  No one has used their knowledge, to help me.  So my hope in people has dwindled, in many ways.

I still have hope that God will open a door for me, but if he does not, I just try to be grateful for what I have.  And I believe I have a lot.

Family is so important.  Love, unity, and just understanding of who God is, always gives me hope.

Not everybody, understands my mission, or my desire, and for those that do, I so appreciate any kind of help, or referrals I get in my ministry.

But as I conclude here, I just want you to see, and be careful that if you need hope, you can find it in God.  Be careful, of people who may even be well intending people, but who may not see your vision, or see your hope in accomplishing something.

They can steal that from you…..  Don’t let them!  Don’t let the devil interfere with your hope.  When people steal others hopes, by discouraging someone, the devil is in that.

Sometimes, all a person has, is hope.  Hope to do something great, or hope to build something, or accomplish a task.  And when people do not support one another, it is sad, that it makes one feel worthless.

I have fought those feelings, and stayed on course, but my hope is in God not in people.

I have always tried to instill that in my son.  To have hope.  To see his potential.  To be careful not to dash his hopes and dreams.  To remind him, he can do anything through Christ.  You see, I did not have that growing up, that encouragement.  But I try to give it to my son.  Even now.

So, I want to emphasize to you how important it is to have hope.  And to hold onto that dream.  To go for it, even if you feel old.  Even if you have no money.  Even if doors do not open.  Even if everyone says, it won’t happen.  I think of the Man of La Mancha, his story so inspired me.  To dream the impossible dream……

Sometimes, my hopes and dreams help me live.  As I live for God.  I pray, my dreams still come true.  They may or may not.  But I will not let go of dreaming, that some day, I will be a success in the sight of God and others.  That my hard work, paid off, maybe I will see it on earth, but I pray I see it in heaven.

But I will not let anyone steal my hope.  I hold onto it with all my might.  And draw strength from God in prayer, in His holy promises.  In my own ability and gift and callings.  I hold onto my hopes.  There are so many.  I pray they bear fruit.  To give God glory.  As long as God gives me breath, I will hope in the Lord.

Here is a key, of hope, I share with you.  I wrote it a few days ago.  But when I did, I felt Gods sweet inspiration, and that just did something to my own hope.

The key to hope? Inspiration.
Give it, and receive it, you see the beauty of it. It will stimulate you, prompt you, motivate you, and give you a desire.
If that desire is to give God glory, you have also inspired God.

AND NOW LORD, WHAT WAIT I FOR? MY HOPE IS IN THEE….
PSALM 39:7

I am not into judging people. I do love and want to love as Christ commanded us. With that said…

I do know right from wrong.

And I have discernment between good and evil. I will call it for what it is. I see the fruit. And we are called to test and try spirits.

And the devil better back off. That scripture is twisted and taken out of context. To put Christians off and to shut up.  It is used in defense because basically people don’t want to hear the truth.

And yes there are some who are so religiously regulated who do judge.

But what about when you know truth and you see someone doing wrong?  What about knowing the devil is a liar?  What about trying to spare a friend hell?  Or the consequences of making a wrong choice?  What about pleasing God?  Hello….

Well all I can say is I will call it for what it is. Our world better wake up. More then ever. I am not into Lala gospel. I have fear of God. And I will not abuse grace.

I don’t want to stand before God and have Him tell me…. Why didn’t you warn my child that was wrong? And what am I going to say?

That I did not want them to think I was judging?….

No, I want to win souls to Christ with truth.  I don’t want to send them to the enemy.  Their salvation is at stake!

Doesn’t anybody see the discrepancies in all of the judging thoughts?  Cannot anyone see the ploy the deception that the enemy uses, twisting that scripture? We all need to know the difference!

JUDGE NOT, THAT YE BE NOT JUDGED.  MATTHEW 7:1

There is righteous judgement.  We need the mind of Christ.  To judge righteously!  Did you know you were called to do that too?

JUDGE NOT ACCORDING TO THE APPEARANCE, BUT JUDGE RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT.  JOHN 7:24

So next time someone tells you to shut up for judging remind them, you are called to judge righteously.  We need to speak truth to one another yes in love.  Not hitting people on the head with the Bible.  No I am praying for the utterance and the boldness to speak truth. Loud and clear.

And if you are going to speak truth, because you feel led….  You better be prayed up, and have that King James scripture to back it up.  I don’t use any other scriptures because the others are corrupted, and their words are also changed, and taken out of context.

You see, there is nothing worse then trying to tell something, to someone, and you don’t have the scripture.  To back it up.  Yes, I just gave John 7:24, because some would only think there is only one scripture on judging.

I would rather be right with God than people. Yes He has forgiven me of much…And for that, because I know the difference, I want to speak truth!

This is why I write, this is why I pray God use me, this is why I pray you consider sending me to your church.  I will give you truth, I will tell you according to Gods Holy word, my King James Bible, and I pray, that ears are opened, and hearts receive that truth, without condemnation.

There is no condemnation in Christ.  And I suppose more so, this is why I am addressing this.  Have you ever heard someone say, don’t judge me, when you have your own skeletons in your closet?  Well that is the whole point.  I want people to be saved and free, when I tell them the truth.  I am not trying to judge them or hurt them.  I am trying to protect them from the devil. So they don’t give the devil a legal right to harass them. When you totally give Christ your heart, and try to obey Him.  Jesus cleans out our hearts, and takes those skeletons out of our closet.  There is nothing there, to remind you of past sins, but a gratefulness, that He removed that stain of sin.

And for the record, I want to reiterate, about love.  Its not my place to judge someone.  If it was my place, I probably would fine them, and make them.  But that’s not my place nor do I want that responsibility.   People make mistakes.  Including me.  I make them all the time.   I come short of the glory of God.  So do you.

So no, I am not into making anyone do anything.  Christ did not make me.  But when I saw the truth I was convinced and humble enough to say God forgive me.  I don’t want pride or excuses when it comes to judging.

But I know the difference, because of His grace.  I want them to know grace like I know grace, and the sacrifice of Christ.

No I leave all that to God, and He will judge.  He is not mocked.  Galatians 6:7.

In Christ, and His love, just my thoughts…

DID YOU KNOW GRACE IS STILL A LAW? By Christian author Elena Ramirez

IMG_0090I love how the Holy Spirit speaks to me, to give me understanding. Just out of no-where, but after a prayer…..This is when the Holy Spirit spoke to me, that grace is still a law.

There are mysteries my friend, that only God can reveal, but where they in their simplicity, can be those “Ahha Moments” Where it just makes sense. Where the understanding increases, because one knows Gods ways.

The goal is to get the mind of Christ.  To try, and understand God, in the mystery of who He is.  But you cannot know Him, unless you know His commandments, His word, His law.  I always promote the King James Bible.  For this reason, it is not compromised, it is holy, anointed, and powerful.  Nothing missing.

God does not change, we do.  He is a mighty and powerful God, and to honor Him, is to fear Him, to love Him, to see we are nothing without Him. Life is not life, without Christ. So I take every word and I ponder on it, I chew it, and swallow it, for it is my spiritual food. It becomes a part of me.

Today, as I was pondering on some teachings, that teach grace, which is what we are saved by, but deny the law, I prayed.  I hear so many teachings that go on, and on, about the grace.  But it is almost like they dismiss the law, they denote it, and they give it no balance in their teachings.  Yes, we have grace by Christ.  But there is a balance in there.  Let me ask you this, why did God give us the law to begin with?

Because He saw, mankind, did not have any understanding, or know how to live.  Between right and wrong.  Yet there is no way, we all can keep the law, because we all sin, and come short of the glory of God.  But you do not deny it.  You do not deny the law.  It is still there!

So God sent His son, so he would take the law, the penalty for our sin.  Yet, Christ told us, He did not come to abolish the law, but to fulfill it.

The Holy spirit, spoke to me, that GRACE IS A LAW. It comes by the blood of Jesus.  It becomes law, a law of grace, when you give your heart to Christ.  Without that law, you are not protected.  You are not extended grace.  You are subject to be sent to hell, without it.

But you need to know the law.  All of God’s law.  To grow, to have a parameter, to test your own spirit.  And there are so many teachings, that actually dismiss the law. And I want you to be aware, when you hear these messages, that they do not give any foundation, or understanding, to how the law would affect us, without grace.  One cannot appreciate grace, unless we know Gods law.

There is the old and new testament.  And yes we are in a new covenant with Christ.  And there are things we do not do, say for example sacrificing anything, because Christ became the sacrifice.  But we are to know, the law.  We are to ponder on it.  This is where our conscious becomes aware, of the condemnation, or the conviction of it.  This is what gives us understanding to grow, and to depart from sin.  And let me just say this.  Condemnation comes from the devil.  Conviction comes from God, so we can change our ways.  And REPENT!

God did not give the law, for nothing, it still is in affect.  It still has principles that are established.  Gods word in a lot of scriptures tells us to love it. Psalms 119, talks about the word, the law, and Gods ways….

I recommend reading it. From the King James Bible.

Let me just say this, without getting into a deep theological debate or conversation. To know Gods law, means you know God. You understand Him. The grace, then is so appreciated, because you know then by Christ you are not under the law. But you have to know the law, to understand God. Yes, even with the fear of God. For when that kicks in as well, you understand, how precious your salvation is. For God holds our lives, and our souls, in His hands.

THE LAW OF THY MOUTH IS BETTER UNTO ME THAN THOUSANDS OF GOLD AND SILVER. THY HANDS HAVE MADE ME AND FASHIONED ME: GIVE ME UNDERSTANDING THAT I MAY LEARN THY COMMANDMENTS. THEY THAT FEAR THEE WILL BE GLAD WHEN THEY SEE ME, BECAUSE I HAVE HOPED IN THY WORD. Psalm 119:72-74.

Just my thoughts, with love, in service to God, and you, by Christ, Elena Ramirez

Father, teach us your ways, your law, so we can understand how precious our salvation is.  In Jesus name.  I will not dismiss your law, but with all my heart, because of what Christ did, I will honor it, as much as I can, because you have given it to us.  In Jesus name.  Amen

Please Note:  These are my thoughts, they are not up for debate or for argument.  You may take this or leave it, but it is not my intention, to get into an argument over this.  My promptings are from the Holy Spirit, and from the word of God.  For I do love, God’s word, and law.

But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law, for they are unprofitable and vain.  A man that is an heretic after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.  Titus 3:9-11
