I know, I have written a few things on forgiveness, but I want to take this in a different direction. And that is learning to release someone in forgiveness, by telling them so.
Have you ever apologized to someone, and you know you made a mistake, and so you apologized, but they did not acknowledge your apology? They ignored you, or remained silent. Or still continued blaming you in unforgiveness?
This has happened to me a lot. And many times, I just walked away sad, because what I really wanted to hear, was I do forgive you.
I learned, to say, I was sorry, at a very, very early age. I had a strict mom, and I wanted to please her. Now, I was not a model child by any means. And I still am not. Even as a child of God. I make mistakes. In judgment, I do often in fact. I pray not to do so, but sometimes, well, I do.
I pray, God guide me in this, but one thing I have learned, is not to carry any kind of guilt, or condemnation, from myself, or others, or even from God. So I repent first to God. Then I apologize to others. I humble myself, even sometimes, when I am right. But…
If it does not feel right, I know, as an unction from God to release it.
But there are people, I love, people I admire, people I respect, that may not see it the same way as I do.
And so what can I do? But just pray for them myself.
You see, I believe there is a power, in releasing someone in forgiveness. It takes away pride. It takes away, any kind of self control in the matter, that can be manipulative, to have someone indebted to you. I know where that spirit comes, and I get right to the root of it. It comes from the devil.
I do not want to be indebted to the enemy in any way. In even a legal way, where he can accuse me or, try to take my blessings. I don’t want to be indebted to anyone, nor to myself, in the sense, I want to carry a grudge. Because if you do not release someone in forgiveness, you will carry a grudge.
You have not taken the final step, to release that person, from that offense, so you will ponder on it, and you may grow a seed of hate.
How naive we all can be. By not forgiving someone, or releasing them in forgiveness we have to know what scripture says, and God says if we do not forgive our brother, our friend, etc. He will not forgive us.
MATTHEW 6:15 BUT IF YE FORGIVE NOT MEN THEIR TRESPASSES, NEITHER WILL YOUR FATHER FORGIVE YOUR TRESPASSES.
I don’t want that. I don’t want that hanging over me. Its strange, but lately, for whatever reason God has been showing me this…. I have been thinking, or dreaming of people. I have known in the past. Those that were even family, or friends, that are no longer friends. They are not in my life. And I just have had a sense, God was trying to get me to repent, and to forgive them. So I have. I may not have thought, I had not forgiven them. But you know God knows our hearts better then we do. Now, I cannot contact them, but God knows.
But, I think we can close the circle, when we have a chance. When we have a chance to ask someone to forgive us, or to even find a person, and say…..I forgive you. Or say. I am sorry.
But I really want to impress upon you, to release them by telling them you forgive them. As they apologize. And we all know…
More times, people do not apologize. Even if they don’t ask for it. Tell them you forgive them. Why? Because you don’t want that garbage in you. That can grow into hate. Maybe somehow you will remind them, that this is what God wants for us all.
What a release, it is. What power, you feel from heaven, above. A cleansing. I cannot explain it. I don’t know all the benefits of it. But I look at it as someone who was in chains, and now no longer in chains.
And in order to keep those chains off, I keep forgiving. I keep asking for forgiveness. From God and others. In fact I do this daily, because I still make mistakes.
You see, I actually do care, and I do want to be accountable to God. To others. I want to work out my salvation, clear of unforgiveness.
I think of how many times, an apology would have blessed me, comforted me, soothed me, and even proved love. And when I did not get it, a wound, may be healed. Because I know what God says….
But it is always tender to the touch. I have enough scars about me, to know this to be true. So grateful for the armor of God, to quench the fiery darts, even when I am not released in forgiveness.
I hope this blesses you, much Love, Elena Ramirez
Yes, I do refuse to tell you God loves you the way you are. Because it is sloppy agape. Every one says, it, but where is the strong Bible teachings to have fear of God, or to obey? I don’t see it.
I did not see it, till I really saw the error of my own ways. But because I was at the bottom of the barrel.
Many people are there, as well, and they don’t know how to have faith, or to get out of that barrel. It can be too late for some! Tomorrow is not promised to any of us!
And that is another misconception. Because we should all live for God!
Yet we know, that God loves us, from John 3:16. He does love the whole world. But I refuse to tell you only that, because I see thoughts that say God loves you the way you are. That you don’t have to prove anything….
Oh they are so sweet in thought…..sugar coated.
But they are wrong in the sense they are deceiving. Because they do not stimulate you to grow. Or for you to see your sins and to repent. Even high profile ministries tell you just to accept Jesus and that’s it.
No!!!!! There is more to it. You have to learn, and unlearn bad habits.
You have to seek a holy word. You have to pray. We serve a mighty God, and his ways are not our ways. Do your part….And that’s why I warn people to use a King James. That has not been changed by mans thoughts! Work out your salvation with trembling and fear. Truth!
I am not going to give people a tickling of ears, or sugar coated gospel. The world has been deceived by the enemy. And where is the truth, that we need?
We are not getting it from the spiritual leaders we have. I am sorry, they are in LaLa land. Money, the prosperity message, has deceived so many. Watered down gospels, that have been corrupted by people, has deceived this generation.
You see I am from both generations, born in the 50’s, and taught the fear of God. And this generation from the late seventies, picked up those bible versions, that have corrupted truth. So I do see, the discrepancies. I see the lies! I see the deception! No God does not love us like this! He has better plans for us, if we would wake up!
More then ever, we need to search, and see our own hearts, and see Gods heart. We need to obey. We need to humble ourselves in the sight of God and man. We need each other. The body of Christ needs each other. But there is so much division. I don’t see the love.
Well I love you enough to tell you, yes God loves you, but not the way you are. I refuse to tell you that. Because if I just left it like that, you would not grow. And I tell you that, because every day, we should try and learn to be closer to Christ. As we grow on that vine. People who do not try and learn, are their worst enemies.
We will never, ever be good enough, unless that blood of Jesus cleanses us. The sacrifice of Christ was too great, and holy, and must be honored.
But that is a heart matter, that has to be taken to the cross in obedience for what Christ did, and it is not lip service. Wake up people! Are you going to be deceived by the enemy? The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom!
And just one more thought, that may just jolt you! Saved is not always saved. Without that repentance! You are lost! Your soul will go to hell. God does not condone sin. It is called being a backslider. Repent. I warn you in love. I want to see you in heaven. Read Ezekiel 33, from a King James. Yes God can take our names off of the Lambs book of life. Don’t be fooled thinking you are o.k. And that God loves you the way you are! Don’t!!!
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. (Isaiah 55:8 KJV)
Oh well, maybe somebody will read this, and see the truth! But I will write it and speak it if God opens a door for me….
Check out this post, it may just open your eyes. The reasons why I am so adamant to defend and promote the King James Bible.
By Christian author Elena Ramirez
Be careful little eyes what you see. A childs Christian song, but a warning for all of us.
As a servant of the most high God, I realize there are things I have to be careful about, in what I share, write, and yes, give as food for thought.
Yes there is freedom of speech, here in America, and any good citizen would defend your right to say it.
But does it need to be said? Does it need to be shared, or spoken? What is the motive? When you send something? And we really do need to ALL look at this…
I do not want to be a hypocrite, because I have made mistakes, when I have hit that “enter” button. Is the motive to be a “shock value?”
Because to be honest there are a lot of things that are on the internet, and yes they shock. But what can I do as a good citizen and yes, as a servant of God?
I get flustered, when I see the news media not using discretion, and sharing something, that has no real value, but they don’t always see the need to be an example, or to be professional and use some common sense, because people see this crap, and they take it and use it. Hollywood does the same thing. So what can you and I do?
Protect your young ones, yourself, and others, by what you share and what you allow!
I guess some questions to ask yourself, when you are going to share something, is what purpose, will this serve? Am I serving God or the devil?
There are some things here, that are so vile, and evil, and I realize because sometimes, I have seen them, that they can leave an impression, and not a good one.
So, I cannot speak for anybody else, but I do not want to give anything here, that could plant a seed for evil. Even to use as an example of rebuking, or denouncing, because of what the visual can do, is so much more worse damaging. I hope this makes sense, because I cannot speak for anybody else, but I realize what we put into our systems, can affect us.
This is why I am careful, what I watch on television, movies, books I read etc. The enemy is tricky, and you may think you can handle it, but if that seed has been planted, and you know how to do it, it could come to fruit.
And I guess, I am thinking about how God wanted to protect us as well….
He did not want Adam and Eve to eat from the tree of good and evil. Because He knew the knowledge of evil could be planted in their hearts. He does not want us to know how to do evil. This is sin.
When someone goes to these “HOW TO” video sites, to research something, they are looking to learn something. It is bad enough many have the motive to want to cause havoc, and evil, but what about you, the average person, who may not even know the implications, of evil, but you are sharing it? Whose your audience? Is another question to ask.
Have you not noticed, on the news when a terrible crime was done, they retrieve someones computer, to see what did they research and look for?
Just like that computer that knows, what someone searched for God knows as well.
When we see things here, that show evil, we are being used by the enemy. If we share it. I just want to express, that we need to be careful, we need to have a filter, to protect each other as well, from the enemy.
No condemnation, no judging, I am just speaking my heart, that we have this responsibility. As children of God, as servants of the King.
And maybe you do not know God, nor understand the implications, but we will be judged. By God Himself. The fear of God is to depart from evil, not share it. This is understanding. Paraphrasing scripture of Proverbs 3:7 BE NOT WISE IN THINE OWN EYES; FEAR THE LORD, AND DEPART FROM EVIL.
And if anything, we are called to love one another, as we love God.
We need to think about this, and be cautious. Because the truth of the matter if we cannot do it for ourselves, how can we do it in the work we do for God? We are called to think good thoughts, and to be careful.
FOR IF A MAN KNOW NOT HOW TO RULE HIS OWN HOUSE, HOW SHALL HE TAKE CARE OF THE CHURCH OF GOD? I TIMOTHY 3:5.
FINALLY BRETHREN, WHATSOEVER THINGS ARE TRUE, WHATSOEVER THINGS ARE HONEST, WHATSOEVER THINGS ARE JUST, WHATSOEVER THINGS ARE PURE, WHATSOEVER THINGS ARE LOVELY, WHATSOEVER THINGS ARE OF A GOOD REPORT, IF THERE BE ANY VIRTUE, AND IF THERE BE ANY PRAISE, THINK ON THESE THINGS. Phillipians 4:8.
Just my thoughts today, I am not your judge, but maybe this could give you some thought to your own thoughts, and what you share.
In Christ, and His love, Elena Ramirez
I love how the Holy Spirit speaks to me, to give me understanding. Just out of no-where, but after a prayer…..This is when the Holy Spirit spoke to me, that grace is still a law.
There are mysteries my friend, that only God can reveal, but where they in their simplicity, can be those “Ahha Moments” Where it just makes sense. Where the understanding increases, because one knows Gods ways.
The goal is to get the mind of Christ. To try, and understand God, in the mystery of who He is. But you cannot know Him, unless you know His commandments, His word, His law. I always promote the King James Bible. For this reason, it is not compromised, it is holy, anointed, and powerful. Nothing missing.
God does not change, we do. He is a mighty and powerful God, and to honor Him, is to fear Him, to love Him, to see we are nothing without Him. Life is not life, without Christ. So I take every word and I ponder on it, I chew it, and swallow it, for it is my spiritual food. It becomes a part of me.
Today, as I was pondering on some teachings, that teach grace, which is what we are saved by, but deny the law, I prayed. I hear so many teachings that go on, and on, about the grace. But it is almost like they dismiss the law, they denote it, and they give it no balance in their teachings. Yes, we have grace by Christ. But there is a balance in there. Let me ask you this, why did God give us the law to begin with?
Because He saw, mankind, did not have any understanding, or know how to live. Between right and wrong. Yet there is no way, we all can keep the law, because we all sin, and come short of the glory of God. But you do not deny it. You do not deny the law. It is still there!
So God sent His son, so he would take the law, the penalty for our sin. Yet, Christ told us, He did not come to abolish the law, but to fulfill it.
The Holy spirit, spoke to me, that GRACE IS A LAW. It comes by the blood of Jesus. It becomes law, a law of grace, when you give your heart to Christ. Without that law, you are not protected. You are not extended grace. You are subject to be sent to hell, without it.
But you need to know the law. All of God’s law. To grow, to have a parameter, to test your own spirit. And there are so many teachings, that actually dismiss the law. And I want you to be aware, when you hear these messages, that they do not give any foundation, or understanding, to how the law would affect us, without grace. One cannot appreciate grace, unless we know Gods law.
There is the old and new testament. And yes we are in a new covenant with Christ. And there are things we do not do, say for example sacrificing anything, because Christ became the sacrifice. But we are to know, the law. We are to ponder on it. This is where our conscious becomes aware, of the condemnation, or the conviction of it. This is what gives us understanding to grow, and to depart from sin. And let me just say this. Condemnation comes from the devil. Conviction comes from God, so we can change our ways. And REPENT!
God did not give the law, for nothing, it still is in affect. It still has principles that are established. Gods word in a lot of scriptures tells us to love it. Psalms 119, talks about the word, the law, and Gods ways….
I recommend reading it. From the King James Bible.
Let me just say this, without getting into a deep theological debate or conversation. To know Gods law, means you know God. You understand Him. The grace, then is so appreciated, because you know then by Christ you are not under the law. But you have to know the law, to understand God. Yes, even with the fear of God. For when that kicks in as well, you understand, how precious your salvation is. For God holds our lives, and our souls, in His hands.
THE LAW OF THY MOUTH IS BETTER UNTO ME THAN THOUSANDS OF GOLD AND SILVER. THY HANDS HAVE MADE ME AND FASHIONED ME: GIVE ME UNDERSTANDING THAT I MAY LEARN THY COMMANDMENTS. THEY THAT FEAR THEE WILL BE GLAD WHEN THEY SEE ME, BECAUSE I HAVE HOPED IN THY WORD. Psalm 119:72-74.
Just my thoughts, with love, in service to God, and you, by Christ, Elena Ramirez
Father, teach us your ways, your law, so we can understand how precious our salvation is. In Jesus name. I will not dismiss your law, but with all my heart, because of what Christ did, I will honor it, as much as I can, because you have given it to us. In Jesus name. Amen
Please Note: These are my thoughts, they are not up for debate or for argument. You may take this or leave it, but it is not my intention, to get into an argument over this. My promptings are from the Holy Spirit, and from the word of God. For I do love, God’s word, and law.
But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law, for they are unprofitable and vain. A man that is an heretic after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself. Titus 3:9-11
