Do you ever sometimes, feel helpless, when people say mean things, and you don’t want to argue, but you know you should say something, but you don’t?

Well there is wisdom in that.

But, there are times wisdom should give you the boldness, the utterance, to stand and speak against something, or someone, a thought, an ideology, because it is wrong.

There is something fascinating, about sometimes seeing someone speak their mind. And even if it shocks you sometimes, you may admire someone, who does do that. Or be in shock, because they did, and you have no words, for that.

Timing is everything, because if the moment goes, and you don’t speak for or against that, you could lose your chance. I often pray for wisdom in this. Because there are some things, no matter what you say in return, it won’t matter.

Yet there are times, you cannot be so passive, or naive not to say something, because it gives someone with a bully mentality, permission to keep doing something like that.

I always look at the root of why someone, says something, or does not. And it always comes down, to what kind of spirit do they have? Is it love? Which comes from God. Or is it hate, which comes from the enemy, the devil?

I have asked God for discernment, to know when to speak. To know when I should take and use the authority, God gives me. I have not fine tuned this, but I do pray, for wisdom. Because there are some things, you have to say, in the name of Jesus, that is wrong, when people say some of the things they do.

But, may I add, God can fine tune me.

I just know, as an American, I have freedom of speech, and so I use it.   I will not let people intimidate me, or try to make me feel insecure, by my race, and I guess I am writing this, because yesterday, just by my name they tried to use a racial insult, to try and do that, and I told them who I am.

As an American, and as someone who understands and knows the Constitution, etc.  But someone, who has mastered the English language, that kind of slant against me, would not work.  I will not let people tell me I don’t have that right, just because of my race.

No matter what the situation, with God, you can speak up.  And you get courage, you get wisdom, and you call it for what it is.

But I tell you, because I have learned this…..Glory to God!

If you bow before God, you can stand in front of anyone.

PRAYING ALWAYS WITH ALL PRAYER AND SUPPLICATION IN THE SPIRIT, AND WATCHING THEREUNTO WITH ALL PERSEVERANCE AND SUPPLICATION FOR ALL SAINTS; AND FOR ME, THAT UTTERANCE MAY BE GIVEN UNTO ME, THAT I MAY OPEN MY MOUTH BOLDLY, TO MAKE KNOWN THE MYSTERY OF THE GOSPEL. FOR WHICH I AM AN AMBASSADOR IN BONDS; THAT THEREIN I MAY SPEAK BOLDLY, AS I OUGHT TO SPEAK.

EPHESIANS 6:18-20 KING JAMES.

THREE REASONS WHY SINNER AND SAINT WILL NOT GO TO CHURCH FROM THE HYPOCRISY (PART ONE OF THREE PARTS) SLOPPY AGAPE WITH RELIGION

P3110024There are three reasons, I have determined, by the prompting of the Holy Spirit, as to why people do not go to church any more.  And this is besides whatever religion one may affiliate themselves with.

And to keep this somewhat interesting, because these three reasons, need time, and content to express this, I am breaking them up by three parts.  So they will not be too long to read, at once.

Today I will share the first part, Sloppy Agape with Religion. and in the future, I will share the other two.  With the same title.  Three Reasons why sinner and saint will not go to church.  (Part one, two and three.)

So if you are interested, in learning what the other two are, sign up for the blog.  Or come back, but if you sign up for the blog, you will be ensured, they will be sent to your e-mail account, and you will get future writings of mine.  You will not receive any spam or unwanted mail from me, as WordPress just automatically sends them when I blog.

And now Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all His ways, and to Love Him and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul.  Deuteronomy 10:12

Yes Lord, I love you, with all my mind, heart, soul and being.  And I do so in fear of you my Lord.  As I try to walk in your ways.  “To try”….How we need this in the body of Christ.

I want to be gracious, in writing these three reasons, for I believe this is truth, and it is not in judging anyone, but truth is truth, and when it is evident, one can see, with discernment, the evil that the enemy has placed in the body of Christ.  And many are deceived.

This is a strong word, but in my understanding anything we do in disobedience to God, can be considered evil in His eyes.  I believe that the body of Christ has lost that sense of obedience, in fear of God, as the body and church of Christ. And in doing so, I strongly believe, the spirit of God can depart.  And with God gone, why should sinner or saint attend?  If God is not there.

There may be more reasons, more specifically, but I see this, so very clearly, in the sense, that sinner and saint, has seen this as hypocrisy, in the body of Christ, and does not want any part of it.

The first reason, I identify, and call “Sloppy Agape with Religion.”  Sloppy agape with religion, is this.  The true love and fear of God is not taught in the body of Christ.

The body of Christ, the church, pastors, have forgotten to teach people, how important it is to fear God, to love Him, and to love others.  We see this by the evidence of so many segregated churches.  People separating themselves by race.  Being with their own kind.  And only their own kind.

The enemy, the devil, has deceived people, into being sloppy with love, and not loving all people.  For in God’s Kingdom, all people will be represented, all people, will gather by His throne.  Not just one group of people.  God is not a respecter of persons, by race, or creed, but by love, from those who accepted, and believed Christ died for their sins, and they repented.  But if they do not walk in love with one another, and all people from that point on, this becomes religion.

This is very sloppy agape.  Because what has been represented, is a sense of religion.  Rules and regulations made by people, who are trying to enforce their own rules, according to the standards, they have placed.  Perhaps in some ways, bringing God into the teachings.  But love is gone.

Love is not taught in fear of God.  Ask yourself, when was the last time you heard a message of fearing God?  To love Him, with all your heart, soul and mind.  I am sorry, but when I watch some televised ministries, television series or go into churches, I have not heard this message.

Without the fear of God, we are not showing, true love to God.  For the fear of God teaches us, it is healthy to depart from sin, it teaches us to humble ourselves before a Holy, and mighty, and powerful God.

What I have seen by observing, by some, is that if love is encouraged, it is to love thy neighbor, as thyself.  But without that ingredient, of loving Him, our Lord first, in fear of Him, we truly cannot love our neighbor, in real agape love, or real love that is valid, and it is without a sense of honor.   Because if loyalty to God is not evident, first to Him, how could we be loyal to anyone else, in faithfulness? In love?

Relationship with our maker, in worship, and by seeking God, in truth, is not always encouraged.  Thus, the reason becomes evident, to me, it is sloppy agape, with religion.  The structure, the foundation that is so very much needed, does not seem to be in place.  The unity is not there, and the commitment to love one another, is not obvious.

Without that, many people, do not find a reason to go to church.  Religion, without relationship, with Christ, is just going through the motions.  People do see this, and find it to be hypocrisy.  And they stop going to church.

I will share the other two reasons, in the near future.  But I do pray, for the body of Christ.  I pray, we would not be crippled, with a sense of religion, but a sense to love our Lord, with all our hearts, soul, and mind, and yes, to love one another.  In fear of God.

Blessings, and just my thoughts, Elena Ramirez

A Prayer of Hope…

Father, thank you for bringing this to my attention.  May we the body of Christ, see this, and release the flow of love, that comes when we fear you, in love, and honor you.  When we love one another, and become united, one and all, in the name of Christ.  I believe many will see the love, as Christ told us, we would have love as evidence.  Without that love, we go through the motions.  Lord, it seems to be religion, rules and regulations only.  Help us, to see this, and to become united in love with you first, and with one another.  In Jesus name.  Amen

SEGREGATION WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CHURCH? IN GODS HOUSE, ALL PEOPLE, TRIBES, RACES, SHOULD BE WELCOMED, WHY AREN’T THEY? HMMMMM.

Jesus loves all the children of the world

Segregation, is not in the house of God, why is it accepted, in the church, the body of Christ?

When was the last time, you heard a prominent pastor, on television, or at the pulpit, promote, love, and acceptance of all people?  Advocating, walls of segregation, to tumble down, and for ALL people to come together, in the house of the Lord?  When?  I haven’t heard this……I could be in the wrong circles though….hmmm.

The Lord, has been putting this on my heart, for a while, and I have seen it, sensed it, and yet, to be honest, I have not said too much, until now.  To be honest, I did not want to deal with this issue.  But obedience, is better than sacrifice.  So, I repent, even here publicly.  And as I express this, I pray to do so in love.  As I also receive correction from God.  For whom God loves He corrects.

I pray, that leaders, the people of the church, the saints, the pew warmers, even for that matter, would take this to heart, and even take it to your leaders, and ask, Why?

Why is it that this church, I attend, this body of Christ, does not promote, or continually express, that ALL people, are welcomed here?

There is no segregation in the Kingdom of God, why is it that there is, segregation, in the church I attend?

Look around folks, people, are drawn to “birds of a feather”  and rather, than just accept, our own kind, did not Christ tell us to love one another?  Thats everybody.  We all have blood, thats red.  That unites, us when we have the blood of Jesus.

I live in Colorado, and to be honest, there is segregation, in my community, and in the churches I attended.  And I am not trying to play the “race~card here, but I have also felt discrimination, in my community, and in the churches, I have attended.  Stereo typing of my race, from Christian leaders, etc.  Not all of us wear sombreros, nor have we all swam across, or sneaked across the border.  Its insulting, when you sit, in a pew, and you have a Christian leader, make a point, at the expense, of demeaning, someone and their race.

If anything, I have felt a sense of just “toleration” for being hispanic, and attending predominantly other churches, of a a different race.  And I have been to a few, so I know, the difference.  To be honest, when I attended, a church, that was more of my race, I felt the love.  Or at least the acceptance.

I have gone against the flow, of just being at a church, where, my race, was dominant, because I want to be in a church, where all people go.  Like in heaven…..

I have longed, to go to a church, where I would hear the pastor, promote, love.  Promoting, acceptance of ALL people, and promoting, Gods agenda, in this.  And not just once, in a blue moon, but constantly.

People, in the body of Christ, need to hear, about Love.  To see our leaders, taking the word of God, and applying, it, constantly, to help change hearts.   To change dispositions, to change the way our world is.  To remind us, to love one another.  To take a chance.

To not judge someone, by their race, tribe or status, in life, for that matter.  For we will always find, greater, and lesser people, in this walk of life.

I want to find a place, someday, a church home, where I will hear the pastor, constantly say, ALL PEOPLE ARE WELCOMED HERE!  Rich and poor, black or white, red, or green, or blue, all people are welcomed in this house of God.  And it will reflect that, as you look around, and see, all kinds of different people, sitting together, being united in Christ, and doing His work, together.

For if we can only imagine Gods Kingdom, heaven, all people are present there, in Gods house.  Every tribe, every nation, every race, rich and poor, will be represented, in Gods Kingdom, and not token members.  But those that understand, the great love of Christ, and His sacrifice.  Love, will be prevalent.  There is laughter, joy, good food, and acceptance, of one another, because we have accepted Christ, as our savior.

Thats why it is needed now.  Like the Lords prayer… “On earth, as it is in heaven.”  I don’t want to criticize, anyone in this, or even make someone, who I, have known, in the past, as a Christian leader, feel bad, or inadequate, but the truth of the matter is, its the responsibility of every Christian, to walk in love, with all people.  But how can we know, unless our leaders promote, love? UNITY!

And our leaders, in ministry, have the great responsibility, of reminding us, to walk in love.  To get out of the comfort zone, of just accepting, and receiving people, of your own race, to reach others, for Christ.

Race, status, should not be the priority, in the house of God.

I consider myself, an ambassador of Christ, as the word says, and when I tell you this, look at yourself, as also an ambassador of Christ.

Go to your leaders, go to your congregation, and remind them in love, that we are to love one another, as Christ loved us.  We are to reach out, and touch hearts, that may be different then ours, we are to sit together, and let those walls of segregation come down, and we must be united, in Christ.   Make it a campaign, a priority, a mission statement, that ALL PEOPLE ARE WELCOMED!

We are the body of Christ, and we all need each other.  One cannot do without the other, as Christ gave the example, the eye needs the head, the head needs the body.

We need each other, and love and acceptance of one another, and promoting that love,  is the only way, we can fulfill the calling and mandate Christ gave us.   Love one another.  Reach out today, or at your next service, remind your pastor, remind each other.  Love one another.

The world understands diversity, isn’t it time, we make it our agenda, as well?  But from the perspective of God.

CONSTANTLY…..Keep this on the forefront, of your agenda, and watch God bless you, and your church…..

All I have to say in closing, is I am reminded, we are all going to stand before God.  I want to promote Love, as much, as I can, because of Christ.  Because of His sacrifice.  I don’t want to be ashamed, when I stand before Him.  I am not a pastor, but if I was, every Sunday, in closing, I would tell everyone, how much they are loved, and race, had nothing to do with it.

Who knows, that may be the only time, a person, heard they were loved.  And that was at church…..Wow what an idea, to be told you were loved at church.  No matter who you were.  Who knew?

Just my thoughts, in love, Elena Ramirez

I John 3:14

We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethern.  He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

I Peter 2:17  Honor, all men.  Love the brotherhood.  Fear God.  Honor the King.

John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Father, thank you for bringing this to my attention.  And prompting me by the Holy Spirit, to write this.  Lord, I apologize, I repent, for not writing this sooner.  You put this on my heart about a month ago, and I just did not want to deal with this subject matter.  But obedient, I repent, and pray, you use, this for your glory.  I pray, people, Christian leaders, would take this to heart.  I want to be a part of the solution, not the problem, even more so, as I repent.  Lord,  may this bring great changes, for your glory and honor.  May love, become our motivator, in all we do, in the body of Christ, may we truly love one another, as you have loved us.  I plead your blood, in honor of you, to remind myself, and others, how important it is, that we stir love up, and help people, feel closer to you, by the way, we treat them.  In Jesus name.  Amen

I HATE RACISM BUT NOT THE RACIST. WHY?

Strange, title.  But it keeps coming to me, prompting from the Holy Spirit, so I will write about this, praying for guidance.  This is true in my heart though, that I hate racism, but I do not hate the racist.

Why?  Because, I am commanded by God, to love him first, and then love others. Matthew 22:37-39 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  this is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

And because God is Love….1 John 4:8.

So, Yes, I try to love….Because God so loved me, He sent his only son, if I believe, I would have ever lasting life.  His love changed me.  Totally, rearranged my thinking, my heart, and my place to have in heaven.  So, I am conscious of love.  Because the sacrifice of Christ compels me to love.

Even the racist, who may not love me, because I am Hispanic.  Yes, I hate racism, I hate, what it has done throughout history.  History does tell us, how some even in a small group, can cause hate to grow with the intention to destroy.  Causing genocide.  Killing, hurting, wounding, innocent, people because of a hate, for another race that thinks it is superior.

This is just wrong in the sight of God.  God is not a respector of persons.  Acts 10:34-35 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons.  But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness is accepted with him.

He accepts us because He created us.  He loves us all.  When someone is cut, their blood is still red. Just as Christ’s blood is red, the only difference, there is no sin, in his blood.  The blood of Christ, ran for us, and he took, all of our sins, upon his back, and side, and received nails in his hands, and feet, a crown of thorns, to show us, his love.  To show everyone, we could defeat the enemy.  By His sacrifice of blood.

His love, His sacrifice, is the greatest example of love, for one another.  He wants us to love, as He does.  He wants us, to first, love the Father, to come before him, humble, repentant, giving our sins, our cares, and yes making him, our Lord and savior.  Knowing, that His sacrifice, by His blood, was the greatest gift He could do for us.  When we do that, our blood is His blood, and our sins, are cleansed.  Purified, with his love, we are able to love others.  We cannot love others, truly without His love.

Yet, we don’t get it right.  Many are still motivated by hate, for other races.  Racism, still, goes on, even in our “politically correct” world, or nation.  I am glad there are laws that are implemented, that discourage it.  But, the only way anyone can truly be rid of it, is by obeying God in this.  Love God, with all your heart and soul, and then love your neighbor.

I have seen racism, in my lifetime, concerning my own family.  And the stories my father, and mother shared, just seem so unreal.  But they happened.  I have seen it in my own lifetime.  Maybe not as prevalent, as my parents, shared with me.  Where for instance, my father, was denied access to a restaurant, because he was Hispanic, even though, he was dressed nice.

But I have felt it, in my younger years, when I applied for a job.  Or I walked into an exclusive store, and was talked down to, by a snobby clerk.  And I cannot help but remember, growing up, we would see racism, all the time.  Kids would call each other names, by their race.  You dirty this…Or stupid that, and it would always be focused on the kids race.  Then, we would hear it so much, we became desentized.  But now, in retrospect, and with a bit of wisdom, it was obvious, parents were not teaching love, of other people to their children.  And if a parent, does not show love, or respect, to other ethnicities or people from a different race, and culture, a kid will pick up on that hate real quick.  Because that, is what they are taught.

Sadly, I have even seen it, in the body of Christ.  Which really bothers me, because love, and love for others, is not evident in the church.  Lets be honest, it is not taught in the church.  I cannot ever recall going to any church, and the message of love, and the message to love those of other races, was taught.  If it was told, I may have missed it that Sunday….

But I know it in my heart, and I know it is something God wants to be shared.  Because I have seen racism, in the body of Christ.  Its ugly.  Its sad, and it stereotypes people.

Now, before I get anybody upset with me, please do not assume, I am seeing it in anybody lately.  Because I don’t.   I am attending a church, where there is a great mixture of people, of different races, and that relaxes me.  But I have attended predominantly exclusive churches, where one race, seemed to dominate, the church pews.  It does not bother me, now, but I have to be honest, there were times, when I would hear jokes coming from the pulpit, and things said, that would stereo-type people of certain races.

And I would feel like standing up and shouting; “Hey wait a minute.  That is a racist comment.”That bothered me.  But who does that, and gets out of order?  Maybe now, I would say something.  I am just that bold.  But earlier I would not.  Being respectful, being polite.  But knowing, that kind of banter, is not loving, not Christ like, not walking in love, toward another person, of a different race.  I would ponder on it.  And there have been times, I have heard things or seen things done to hurt someone, because of race, that bothered me terribly.  But I would also forgive.  Because I am called to forgive as well.  Matthew 6:14-15 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you; But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

I really would love to see, the body of Christ uniting more in this.  In being true expressions of love, and reaching out to other people, other races.  I would love to see Pastors on television, and in our communities, extending love, extending a hand to others of different races, even as a church mission, to bring other people of different colors to their church.  I live in Colorado, and for the most part, the churches are segregated.  They may not intend for that to be the case, but it is.  What it is……

I just want to say, for the record.  I love all people.  I want to be friends with all people, because of Christ.  I may be shy, in many instances.  And, I may not understand all cultures, or the ways of people, traditions, habits, from one culture to the next.  But I do understand, Christ died for all of us.  And when He tells me to love others, I want to take it to heart.  I want to be a reflection, and expression of His love.

Maybe you do too.  But you can’t just think about it, and not do anything about it.  So, I challenge you even here.  What can you do, to extend love to someone of another race?  Thats not phony, but sincere, and caring?

How about inviting them to your church?    Your home, lunch…..And then just be loving to them, in a respectable, honorable way, like Christ would.  Love them….like family.   Include them in your church activities.  Make them feel like they are a part of the body of Christ, in your church. Knowing in your heart, this pleases God….

Knowing, you are fulfilling the greatest commandment, by loving God, you are loving others…..

Just my thoughts, with love, Elena Ramirez

Father, I do praise you, and love you this morning.  As I write, as I count my blessings, and as I sometimes, see, we need love in this world.  And in our churches.  And just in our hearts, to ease pain, to activate your truth, and goodness.  Love is so needed.  Lord, theres a song, that is coming to me, that we used to sing in choir in High school.  Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me…..Lord, let there be love, on earth, and let it begin with me.  We all have to see where, we are, and where we stand, with you in all matters.  Obedient to your word, obedient to your truth, and principles, commandments.  Lord, we are called to love you first, and then one another.  May this just be a reminder, it is not meant to offend any one, but if it does, oh well.  Love, forgives, and love, loves….In Jesus name.  Amen
