I truly believe, because I have learned the benefits and strategies of forgiveness, that what I am about to share with you, will truly make you mindful to forgive. But to also ask for forgiveness.
Forgiveness is a cleanser. It cleans our souls. It cleans our spirits, of any bad vibes, any evil, any polluting of our spirits. Anything the enemy will use to stop us from wanting to be blessed. The enemy wants to steal our blessings by making us not see how important forgiving is.
We should all want to be good at forgiving. Not holding a grudge, not giving someone free rent in our minds and hearts, because we will not forgive. We should not be taking the poison, that unforgiveness gives.
And it is poison. This is why Christ told us to forgive. And because of that I believe that…He wants us to go to our enemy, or someone who offended us, and to release that by forgiving, so we would not keep that bitter spirit in us, that can actually turn into a “root of bitterness” because the unforgiveness, would not leave.
I actually believe, that it can cause physical cancer. Because it is nurtured in hate, it is nurtured in thinking of it over and over again, and it can grow. It manifests itself, and turns into a disease. It can even be passed down from generation to generation, because the thought to forgive is not taught to another generation. Vengeance is mine saith the Lord.
And though many of us, know we are to forgive. We do not know that we should also ask for forgiveness. Scripture says, the Lord lifts the humble, but He turns from the proud. When one is so arrogant, so prideful, so adamant to not budge when it comes to being humble and saying I am sorry, please forgive me. They are allowing the enemy to play. They are allowing that spirit of unforgiveness as well to be present in their hearts. Going to someone, and apologizing, is not losing face. Its not losing any ground. If anything, it gives you leverage, because you are pleasing God. You are pleasing Father, and that spirit will leave you.
We always have to remember Christ is the way, the truth, and life. And His ways, tells us to be humble, in matters like this. Make peace with your enemy. Make peace, with yourself. With others. More then anything make peace with God!
The more one thinks about an offense, and to me, who does not nip it in the bud, right then right there, with yourself and others. Is a coward. Yes, a coward. Because you may have gotten offended, but you did not set the record straight with someone, and yourself, and you let it go. But you really did not let it go without Gods ways, and that is forgiving. Thats not forgiving when you let it go that way. Thats being in denial.
Now I know there are many circumstances you cannot address it to someone else, because they are gone, or they are not around, or you just don’t know where to reach them. But if you can, and you could, go to them. Tell them you forgive. Or tell them you want to be forgiven. Clean the slate.
But if you cannot do this….
This is where prayer comes in. This is where talking to God, and releasing it to Him, makes a difference. Being mindful in your own behavior, to learn to forgive others, and to ask for forgiveness. My mom taught me at an early age, to apologize. She forced me, because I wanted peace with her. But yet, we would because of our own different view points, get caught up in something over and over again, and those resentments would arise. What a strange relationship. But, I do not hold any ill feelings toward her. Even now that she is dead. You know forgiving someone, even yourself, sometimes, with the grace of God. Can show you why a person, is the way they are. Without nurturing, or truth, especially Gods truth, our King James bibles we can miss it.
Just because you are a Christian, does not mean you are excused to not forgive anybody. In fact, the more the reason to be an example of Christ in this. Because when much is given, much is expected. Christ died on that cross for you and me. He took the penalty of sin for our lives. He knows what sin can do. Unforgiveness is sin. Christ on that cross said forgive them father, for they know not what they do.
When we don’t know what God truly expects, and with fear of Him, and yes the consequences, we do not forgive. Nor do we ask for forgiveness.
This has to be taught, to understand the strategy the enemy will use to take your blessings. To take your growth. To take away love. Love is not there, if God is not there. And when God is there, the opportunity to forgive is always available.
But it begins with true repentance. To God, and to others. Let the cleansing begin. Don’t hold onto something that happened even years ago. Release it to God. Release others. Release yourself.
Forgiveness, is not just a tactic, or a strategy, it is a commandment from God. Forgiving definitely goes hand in hand with repenting. Because God forgives when we repent. This is why I always want to be repenting. Because I want the grace of forgiveness. But I do not take it for granted. Because of Christ’s sacrifice. It was too great.
For if we do not forgive others, including ourselves, through Christ. He will not forgive us. I just think, again my thoughts, that if we knew what forgiveness could do for ourself and others. The world would be a better place, but we would run to ask for forgiveness. Knowing this pleases God. But it is good for our own souls.
I pray, this prayer and post will help you. But I do recommend looking up scriptures on forgiveness from a King James. There are so many strategies to this, that I think I just scratched the surface. But let Christ show you. By the Holy Spirit, by God almighty and His commandments.
Blessings, and love, Elena Ramirez
IF WE CONFESS OUR SINS, HE IS FAITHFUL AND JUST TO FORGIVE US OUR SINS, AND TO CLEANSE US FROM ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS. I JOHN 1:9.
Father, I come before your throne, and seek you, your Kingdom and your righteousness. Lord, I do repent. I repent daily, because I have come to know myself. I do not want pride, or anything to hinder me from being in my relationship with you, and yes even with others. I ask to show me how to be humble. Like Christ. I ask that you prompt me every time that ugly spirit of pride would pop up to even stop me from being humble, that I would even remember this prayer. I want nothing to stop my blessings of knowing you, or my own personal blessings to be stopped. To turn into obstacles, or to turn into poison, in my soul. Remove any bitter spirit of unforgiveness.
I prayed to you just the other day, and I know you recall it. But you just bring it to my remembrance even now. That I asked you to forgive me, as I forgave some family members who hurt me greatly when I was young. I was so naive. I thought I did forgive them. They have not been in my life. But this so grieved me as a child. The rejection, the hate, the distance. The jealousy….they had for me. I did not deserve that.
But I released them and when I did you brought this message to me more about forgiving. You know our hearts. I actually believe you gave me a gift to understanding. You did and I see it. So clearly after that. When I prayed for them. For their souls. For even their family members, as I released this.
You see things we sometimes do not see. But this is why it is so important that we forgive. That we ask to be forgiven by you and others.
So we can have clean hearts before you. Thank you for sharing this truth to me, so I can share it with others. Thank you. For love, that is extended by forgiveness. In Jesus name. Amen.
If this message blessed you, please share it with others you might know. I do not ask for money, but I do ask for help in doing Kingdom work. For our Lord, for love. Thank you. Elena
TWO REASONS WHY PRAYER MAY NOT BE ANSWERED
Sometimes hope will flee. You have prayed, you don’t understand….
Scripture tells us, if we have iniquity in our hearts God will not hear us. Read King James Psalms 66:18 King James only….
Sometimes, we have to see, what do we embrace, what do we accept, what do we see, as harmless, yet, may be a spiritual entity, that God does not accept. REPENTANCE IS NEEDED.
Then, there is praise, and some people forget, the past, of sins, or the forgiveness they have received. How do your express your gratitude? Do you just go on, or do you give praise, every day of your life, to God as a testimony?
See we have to see…
We overcome the enemy, by the blood of the lamb, and the words of our testimony. Remember scripture says, do not give place to the enemy. But do you do that, do you give place to the enemy…. by not saying anything, that ushers the praises of God, for you to have a front and center seat at the throne of God?
Hmmmmm. Something for all of us to think about? Please share this. And sign up for the blog. You may just help someone get an answer to prayer…. Then God will bless you.
And I will just add. Praises to God my father, with thanks! Even with daily repentance, as I humble myself before you Lord. For the sacrifice of Christ! Thank you Lord, for my salvation….♥
AND THEY OVERCAME HIM BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB, AND BY THE WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY; AND THEY LOVED NOT THEIR LIVES UNTO THE DEATH. REVELATION 12:11 KING JAMES ONLY.
Let me say who I am, and then you can make your own determination, but I pray, you see the truth, I am trying to bring. I want to bring some balance. For understanding. This is only my perspective. But I say it as a “free” Christian Hispanic American. I say it, boldly, because I have freedom of speech.
I am a Christian, American Hispanic, fourth generation, a “legal” citizen of the United States. I state I am a Christian, first, because I am so grateful for what Christ did for me. I do not take my salvation lightly. I am grateful to Christ, for taking my sins on that cross, and so I want to serve Him. I serve Him, in the gifts and callings He has given me.
I am a writer as a Christian, and an American. I may express some things, about my heritage, as a Hispanic. And there is a great legacy, from even my forefathers, who have come into this country, and yes even served as Americans. And let me add, I love my race!
But I refuse to play the race card, in trying to motivate someone, or to make a statement. With my race as the foundation. I think it hurts us, as a race. I think it hurts us even in our nation. Yes, lets celebrate each other, and the gifts we have, in our heritage, and ethnicity. There are so many different things we can offer each other. But right now, as a writer, I need to say, its wrong, what I see in our nation.
Lets be honest, there is discrimination. There are those, who are not taught to love one another. Or to accept other people. They do not know, that God says He is not a respecter of persons. He loves us all. But we have to see this, in His way, not ours.
And maybe this may let them see another perspective. You pray people see the injustice. But you also see, its their choice. You may not agree with it, but with the laws that are implemented, one should be able to have freedom if you do it right. You don’t have to like me, but don’t discriminate because you just don’t like me.
But what I see right now, in this time of history of the year and month of July, 2015, my country is confused.
I see hate crimes, and people, justifying it in the name of a flag. I see, two sides, and I see, both have good points, so I don’t condemn, or put down someones opinion about a flag. I just wish, people loved each other.
I see laws implemented from our supreme court, and people who have Christian beliefs, are now being penalized, for their beliefs. In not having association or wanting to have business dealings with those that would contradict their beliefs.
Are we a nation now, that cannot even pick and choose, or reserve the right to not have business dealings with people who actually offend who we are in Christ? Some are being forced, by laws, that go totally against their conscience.
If you saw a bank robber, a thief, for the sake of business, would you have dealings with them? Probably not. Because it would go against your ethical, and moral conscience.
Yes, we are to love one another, but we are not called to be with those that ask us to do something that challenges our own belief systems. When I look at these people, who now are demanding rights. I see, they are trying to make a statement as to who they are, and what rights they want. But that is their choice. It is as if, they want to be their own “race.”
Why should someone else be penalized because they don’t agree with it, or “contribute” to their belief system. Or be a part of that race? Its like all these things if you look at it symbolically is an issue of race.
But there is segregation, why be forced with someone who does not agree with you? Because freedom to others, are being denied, when you change the view by political agendas.
Segregation even in business is o.k. I am not going to sue someone, because they want to go to church together as a race. Yet someone is being penalized for wanting to be separate from that kind of behavior.
Our forefathers, implemented laws for that freedom, or religion. And now it is challenged. Why are we departing from the foundation of who we are in this nation?
Yet other religions, that come to our United States are given grace in this, but we as Christians are not. And asking to change things. Why? Why should we change our stance, when this is who we are?
I see a presidential nominee, who made harsh remarks, about Mexico. And yes, he was harsh, but his motivation, was to protect the borders. But instead, many are offended by him. And what I see, is people denying him, freedom of speech. And they have made a boycott against him.
I don’t understand, why we as a nation cannot come together and be united, and not love one another. But if you try to do it politically, its not the same as the way of the Lord.
Its like everybody wants their “race” or their agenda, upheld, but there is no understanding for those who don’t want to be a part of it. Some of these agendas, are not legal, to be asked for.
Why is their confusion about upholding the security of our borders, compared to making it a racial motivation? And calling it discrimination? And playing the race card? Its not about race, its about securing our borders, by the laws that have been implemented.
So my point, is that we need to find our way.
Truth, and being united, should come with mutual respect. Whether you agree with someone or not.
I certainly don’t want to push my Christian belief on any one, but I certainly do not want to be denied my freedom of speech either. Or my right to have religious freedom. Or my right for freedom of ethical matters, to be imposed on me. By someone else’s agenda.
But using the race card, to make my point is not right, its not ethical, nor does it promote unity.
I want to achieve success, by my hard work, but I don’t ask for you to give it to me, because of my race. I ask God for it, because I really do try and want to please Him first. By keeping His commandments, by yes the golden rule, to love one another. But I know even in my bible, it says mark those, who are disobedient to His truth, and have nothing to do with them.
Christ taught us to hate the sin, but love the sinner.
We have all come here to this great nation, to have freedom, but don’t deny someone their freedom, because you don’t agree with them. Know your rights, in the sight of God. And the law of the land.
But you have to do it by the laws of the land, as well. You have to do it, with the mind set, that we as citizens, should have rights. Our veterans should have top priority, and we cannot take care of the world. Because of a race, or even a religion. Our borders, need to be protected.
Our country is at stake right now, and I see so much division, that is being spoken in the name of being politically correct. That I think we have lost our moral compass, that our freedoms are being challenged, and that love is being thrown out the window.
I hope in all that you may think, that you would find the balance. Because we all live here, but we need to take care of one another, and be in unity as a nation. Divided we fall. We have to do things legally, in the sight of God and our nation.
Call me a legalist, if you want but I am not hitting you on the head with my bible. But I will, and do try and uphold the laws of my King James Bible, and I want to see the laws of the land, especially concerning our borders held up.
I am grateful for grace. From God, but we need it here too, so thats why I say let us bless God, and not just ask Him to bless us, as a nation.
But we have to get “law” and order activated, or we as a nation, will go under. Spiritually, and personally, as individuals, and as a nation.
Oh well, this is my thought for today. Blessings, and love, Elena Ramirez
THE SOWER SOWETH THE WORD…..Mark 4:14
I want to be someone who sows Gods Holy word. I know the difference between other Bible versions, and the King James Bible. To show the light.
There is something holy, and anointed, in the King James that speaks to the soul. Those other Bibles may attempt to bring light, but they really were created by some person, who sat behind a desk, and changed them and they don’t reflect the warnings God gave, to not change or add to them, or take from them.
See Deuteronomy 4:2. YE SHALL NOT ADD UNTO THE WORD WHICH I COMMAND YOU, NEITHER SHALL YE DIMINISH OUGHT FROM IT, THAT YE MAY KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF THE LORD YOUR GOD WHICH I COMMAND YOU.
I know I am called to just always bring this to your attention. I want you to hear from God. I want you to grow, and to please God. I don’t want to argue with anybody about this. It is truth. I have debated it quite enough. But, I will not stand down on this. I will always defend this Holy word, for it is life.
I will sow this Holy word, and I will be led by the Holy Spirit.
I look at this as it is spiritual food, not junk food. No mold on it, that has corrupted it. We all need good nourishment. Think about how you feel after a good, healthy meal. With vegetables, and a well balanced group of food. Nice, warm, bread.
Well Christ is the bread of life, and He would not give you food, that was junk food. AND JESUS SAID UNTO THEM, I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE: HE THAT COMETH TO ME SHALL NEVER HUNGER; AND HE THAT BELIEVETH ON ME SHALL NEVER THIRST. JOHN 6:35.
This is how I feel after I read Holy word. Nourished, and a sense of who God is. Friend, I pray you see this, and you hear God in this. And just obey. Obedience, is better then sacrifice.
I am not your judge, I love you in Christ but I pray to be a voice of reason, and love God first and foremost as I obey God in this.
What are you really sowing in your life? As the Holy word as the example? Is it truth? Is it confusion? Is it a contradiction, or is it Gods truth that puts you on that narrow path?
BECAUSE STRAIGHT IS THE GATE, AND NARROW IS THE WAY, WHICH LEADETH UNTO LIFE, AND FEW THERE BE THAT FIND IT. Matthew 7:14.
Remember friend, CHRIST IS THE WAY THE TRUTH, AND LIFE. (paraphrasing) John 14:6.
Don’t lose your way, because you don’t want to get lost.
Be one of the few that find it. Use a King James Bible.
