I loved this thought, that came from dear Mr. Cruz.  Yes, I admire this man greatly.  He is a man of great integrity, conviction, and stands for that which is right.  I admire him, because he stands his ground.  He is not a people pleaser.  He is I believe a man who wants to please God.  He knows who he is by his integrity.  This is why I am sad, he is not our nominee.

But that thought of his is the talk of today.  And it causes us all to think.  So why? What does that mean, to vote your conscience?

I love getting to the root of things.  Thats always been my nature, to understand.  Why people, say what they do?  What is the foundation of something said.  The root, determines far more then what may be implied in anything.  Because it reveals the very soul of someone.  Don’t scratch the surface, get to the root of it!  Why waste your time, pondering?  Go to the top, the wisdom that God gives.  Does it come from God or satan?  You can know if you truly seek God.  If you read holy word.

Christ told us, that we would be known by the words we speak.  We would be judged by those same words.  And out of the abundance of the heart, we do speak.  Scripture (paraphrasing) tells us we have power of life and death in our tongues, and we eat the fruit thereof. Proverbs 18:21. That last scripture is enough to give pause to consider what we do say.

I think Mr. Cruz thought about what he should say.  He knew he had if anything to prove to himself, and God, he had a responsibility as a leader to tell us how to vote.  By the conscience.

The conscience.  The sense, these are principles, principles God has given us to establish to know the difference.  To guide us, to give us wisdom.  To give discernment between good and evil.

So to vote your conscience.  Hmmm.  Lets get to the root of that.  Without actually endorsing anyone, without saying anything further about someones character, or the lack of it.

To get to the root of it, you need to look at the fruit.  To look at the soul of someone.  You have to see, what someones words are based on.  Is it truth?  Or is it a lie?  How did they get to the foundation they have?  Is it based on God, or is it on satan?  Is it love or is it hate?  Is it good, or is it evil?

You see, thats just the way it is going to be.  Its not in-between, or at a half way mark. With God, its choose this day, whom you will serve.  God does not play games with us.  He tells us to choose whom we will serve.

And whether you want to choose or not, is really irrelevant, because by not choosing, you can choose evil.  By not standing up for good, by being lukewarm, so to speak, God will spit you out.  See Christ’s last words to us, in Revelation 3. Of a KJV. Because even in these scriptures he is reminding us, yes, salvation could be at stake by not repenting. He tells us let no man take your crown!

Repentance, is always the key to clearing the slate with God.  Always, don’t ever forget that!  It will clear your conscience.  It will clear your soul, it will make you right with God.  Repentance is admitting you have sinned, that you have made mistakes, by not basing your “conscience” your soul on Christ.  It is the sweetest cleansing, you ever can receive, because it will clear the slate, and clean your robes.

See, God is giving us all a chance on this earth to choose.  And so you have to know what your “conscience” is based on.  You have to know what source, as the foundation, does your thoughts come from to vote.

Is it good, is it truth, is it love, is it pure, and holy, submitting totally to God?  In obedience, in fear of God.  Yes, fear, people don’t like that word, but see, if you fear God, you choose wisely.  So your conscience, does not fear anybody else, but God Himself, to prove to Him, your own alliance.  To please God.

The conscience.  That little voice, that gut instinct, that sense you might call common sense, is always based on good or evil.  God or the devil.  And to know that, is to learn to fine tune it.  You can always trust it, if its based on God.

It tells you what is right, it tells you what is wrong.  But if the foundation of it, is not based on God totally, well it will be wrong.  But the principle is in its place.  If you have not made Christ Lord, and savior, you will be ruled by the principle, that comes from the devil.  Theres no in-between here again.

Thats why I am so careful with the Bible I choose.  I choose the King James. To choose something, that has not been corrupted, or compromised, because I truly want to be on the same page with God.  He does not change, we do.  So my thoughts, will reflect the mind of Christ.  According to His word.  Not my thoughts, not satans thoughts.  But God almighty.

But it is a choice.  So, to vote your conscience, is a choice.  This is America.  Beautiful America, the land of the free.  But how long will that be, if we do not choose Gods ways?  We may very well learn.  This is who we are as a nation.  Free. We have freedom, our whole nation is on the foundation of freedom, but in God we trust.

Some of us trust in God anyway.

So only you can answer the question as to where your “conscience” is based on.  Only you, can determine, to know if you are right are wrong, but remember, you will be judged by what you choose.

We will all stand before God.  For the choices we make, including how we vote.  It is recorded in the book of life.  But ask yourself, is your name in the Lambs book of life?  That book, that has no stain on it.  Cleansed by the sacrifice of Christ.

Without telling you who to vote for, to vote your conscience, means you are voting because you have freedom.  But remember, that freedom, in our nation, will produce, fruit.  It will produce a consequence.  Either for good or evil.  God or satan.

So be careful how you vote.  Be careful what you base it on.  Be careful, that you see the root of someones character, to know, is it good, is it evil?

I think we have seen enough to know.  At this point.  But if you do not know, ask God.  Come to His throne humble.  Repentant.  Seeking truth.  He will show you.  He is awesome when it comes to things like that, so He deserves glory and honor and praise as I even write this.  I know.  There is none like God, and sometimes, you wonder.  But He is on the throne.  No matter who is President.

The rest is up to you, and yes God, for it is always in His hands.  Who is your choice to vote for?  It may mean you don’t vote.  And thats another topic, between good and evil, and evil is still evil.  And good is still good.  Thanks be to God.

Remember God sees your vote.  What is your conscience based on?  As you vote?  Or do not vote?  Your an American, know the difference!

Blessings, and love, Elena Ramirez

I recently went to go see the movie Unbroken.  Directed by Angelina Jolie.  I had heard a lot of hype about it, so I decided to go and see it myself.

The story line from what I had heard really interested me, about what this man went through, and suffered, and that he was a Christian.

But I also heard, that his Christianity was not really mentioned too much in the movie.  That concerned me, because as a testimony it should give glory to God.  I had heard Mr. Franklin Graham, say on television, that a chapter was missing.  The chapter, where he went to one of Mr. Grahams revivals and Mr. Louis Zamperini gave his heart to Christ.   So I thought, oh no, here we go again, Hollywood is leaving God out of it.

But, that was not the case.  Angelina Jolie, did a beautiful job, in portraying this mans life.  His struggles, his brothers influence, his sense as a child, that he could not do anything.  It showed his great accomplishment to enter into the Olympics. And that he was very gifted.  He did not see that, but his brothers influence, really helped him.  It is a story of learning great strength, and hope in a time of adversity.  This man learned, if he could “take it, he could make it.”  This is what his brother taught him.

Then he went to serve our country.  And in doing so, he found himself, in a lot of trouble, when the plane they were flying in, crashed, after being attacked from the air patrol, they were in to defend our country.

Three men survived.  One friend, was a Christian, who prayed.  The other, was a good man but he had no hope it seemed.  And….Louis, was a strong man in that which was portrayed of him.  But, he struggled too.  For over a month I am guessing, they were on a raft.  Starving, and not having water, and having the elements of the ocean against them, the sun beating on them, and trying to survive.

In one moment, of the movie, if you did not recognize it, you could miss it.  But it being a small moment, was a very great moment, when he told God, if you save me, I will serve you for the rest of my life.

God saved him.  Spiritually and physically.  Did he know he was saved?  Did he know Christ entered his life?

Well, the good news, and the bad news of it was they survived.  Two of them.  The one without hope had died.  But they were captured by the Japanese army, and  tortured.  Louis suffered, even more so, at the hand of the commander, they called the Bird.  This man was ruthless, sadistic, and cruel.  For no reason, it seemed like he picked more and more on Louis.

I actually cried, at what he went through.  Was it because he was an Olympic star at one time?  Why was this commander so cruel to him?  Or what?  I don’t know.  Maybe it was because he was a Christian, though you did not see him pray, any more, in the movie, but he had asked God for help.

My thought is this, without giving away any more of the movie, but when he was rescued at the end of the war, and went home, and was reunited with his family.

God had answered his prayer.  God fulfilled his part of it.  God saved him!  From what happened, and all that he suffered but God saved his soul on that raft!

This is reflected.  On the postscript of the movie.  He served God.

Now this is just my thought on it, because I haven’t even read the book, or know all that happened, but Louis, began to work out his salvation, with trembling and fear.

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. (‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭12‬ KJV)

When he came back home to the United States.  From what I understand he had a lot of stress, nightmares, and yes baggage from what he went through.

Yes… God used the Billy Graham ministry to help him.  To bring him closer to God.

But the glory goes to God.

And with no disrespect to the Billy Graham ministry.  I know many are upset that this ministry was not mentioned.  But we need to see God in this.  And nobody else.  You see, I myself, went to one of his revivals and gave my heart to God.  I am grateful for Billy Grahams ministry.

But I really believe my salvation began when I cried out to the Lord broken, at one point.  Yes, I publicly gave my heart to Christ.  But also in privacy.  There I believe He met me, and saved me, and then later yes I made it public.  And being public, is saying to the world, I am not ashamed that Christ is my savior.

But it is Christ who I know saved me.  God, daily guides us.  And some ministries do help.  But it is our own responsibility to seek God.  The Lord will save any of us, if we just ask Him.  In this relationship.  It is only by the grace of God, that we are saved.

I believe that is why Angelina was so touched by this man, to want to make this movie.  She saw what God could do, in someones life.  And nobody else.  I don’t know if she is a Christian or not, but I have the feeling that she is.  I have the feeling she is like many of us, just searching.  But his story touched her, and I believe she seeks God.  She now, has a clearer sense of who God is.  And that is what its all about.  Yes some help us.  I hope to help some.  But I want to be ever so careful to give God only the glory.

But, one thing I have learned, and to get into deeper, in thought.  We all try to serve God if we are Christians.  But we must be careful not to try and get the glory in some thing, that only belongs to God.  And I am not saying this ministry is doing that.  I am just saying lets give God the glory….

At the end of the movie, and I am sure at the discretion of Angelina, the director, she made sure, that every one could read, that Louis, had kept his part in serving God.  That was the agreement.  That was what Louis asked for, in that raft.

So for it to portray more of what happened, is really from your own perspective.  And really some things are left to the imagination.  But, I believe it did give glory to God. I believe she did a beautiful job in directing it.

And I believe, and pray God bless the Graham ministry.  But I believe, we cannot take our eyes off of the fact, that God saved him on that raft, and not afterwards….

Just my thoughts anyway.  It was a beautiful movie, and I hope whoever sees it, will see Gods plan, and Gods glory that he met Mr. Zamperini on that raft.

That no matter what situation, we are in, God can save us through His son our Lord Jesus Christ.  But my friends, we do have our part.  It starts by repenting.  By confessing Jesus Lord.  By giving our hearts to Christ.  By telling Him, we believe He died for our sins.  Then we grow… In prayer, in reading a good Bible, like my King James, and just trying daily in this lifetime we are given.  To love one another, to forgive.  As he did, by going back to Japan, and seeking closure.

Maybe we can make a difference.  The testimony of this man, does give glory to God.  And his life does reflect he served God.  Thats really what it is all about for any of us, that call our selves Christians.  And to the glory of God.

Blessings, Elena Ramirez

Please sign up for the blog, and also read my testimony.  I pray, that all glory goes to God.  I pray, that you can find something here, that will bring you closer to God.  To instruct, inspire, and motivate you in your own search for God.  And His ways.

I watched Ben-Hur last night. After the news reports, and just chaos, from crowds, rude people, and just needing quietness, I thought I need to watch something inspiring. It did not let me down. I noticed, even at that time the people of God, the Jews, were oppressed. By the Romans.

Friendships were divided, because of power, and Judah, played by Charlton Heston, suffered greatly, at the hand of a friend. A friend, who wanted power, now as a Roman soldier, and who forgot the ties they had made as children. He actually had Judah imprisoned, and his sister, and mother, for something that was really an accident. And I won’t go into all the details of the movie, but it was sad, that Judah suffered.

At one point, he wanted to die. Because of the abuse he received, and at His lowest point, thirsty, and almost dying, Jesus came to him, and gave him water, after others had denied him water. When the guards saw that Jesus had defied their orders to give him water all they could do was just look at Jesus. And they could not come against Him. You did not see Jesus’s face in this movie, but it was all so very symbolic, in the power He has. Judah survived, but knew he had met someone who touched his life.

Judah found great favor with another Roman who actually adopted him, and loved him, because he saved his life. And then went back home to Jerusalem, and searched for his mother and sister, and yes to find vengeance on the friend, who deceived him, betrayed him, and hurt his family. There was a great race, with chariots, and the friend, now enemy of Judah, was injured. Yet, he would not die, till he spoke to Judah, but his words were not of a sorry or contrite heart for doing what he did. Instead he told him only that his sister and mother were alive.

The mother and sister, were imprisoned, and through it became lepers. Judah thought they were dead. But the love of his life, was protecting him from the truth, that they were alive, and when he discovered this truth, he was angry. But went to go and get them, they took them to search for the great person Christ was back to Jerusalem. But Christ was on trial, andbeing crucified.

Charlton Hestons character, was so moved by Christ again, for this time, it was he who gave Christ water. As Christ carried His cross for us. And again, we did not see the face of Christ…..but we can only imagine.

At the end of the movie, the sister, and mother were healed of their leprosy, and to conclude just what it did for me to see this, is that Christ teaches us. Through our heartaches, through our sorrows, through our loss of friends, that I can even relate to, if we seek Him, we are healed. Our souls can be healed, our hearts, our anger, our bitterness….and we can be used by God. We can give water to someone hurting, we can can quench the thirst, by Christ.

Yes it was symbolic to me, this movie when it started, showed the birth of Christ, and showed that wise men still seek Him, and it ended with the death of Christ, With healings, restoration, and a sense, that God and only God can heal us.

I pray, we all have the sweet peace, and joy of the true Christmas spirit.

I needed to watch something that inspired me. Last night, I admit, with the news I felt sad, and troubled. I am a Christian I can be strong, but I am also human, and I also see, how much our world needs Christ. I hope we all get the true message of Christmas in our hearts, all year long, and until Christ returns. To restore our souls.

Blessings, just some thoughts today, this Christmas eve.

Merry Christmas……Elena Ramirez

Sometimes, you have to look and see what makes a good friend.  And sometimes, you have to understand, good friends, need to be loved and appreciated.  Christ does that for me, as my greatest friend.

I know His sacrifice on the cross, and the beatings He took for me, and to pay the penalty of my sins, reminds me, how great a friend He is.

So how can I show Christ, my love, and that I appreciate, His great sacrifice?

It is the Christmas season right now.  And I cannot explain it, but I feel something in the spiritual realm even in my own growth, and understanding, in gratitude, that I just want to stop, and concentrate on Christ more this season.

I get sad, because you know we all like nice things, but the world, people, even other Christians, seem to forget about what this season is all about.  The reason for the season.  And its Jesus!

Sometimes, growth, circumstances, poverty, lack, and yes even an abundance, can make you stop and see, and say.  Is this what it really is all about?

I mean, we can really get caught up in the ways of the world.  We can get caught up, in material things.  The lack of, or the abundance.  Where is the balance?

Right now, I just want to be a good friend to Christ.  More then ever.  I am a Christian, who has been a Christian for a few years now.  And when I made the decision, to give it my all to Christ, I have not turned back.  Yet, daily, I have to work on my relationship with Him.

So, as I ponder on this time of season, and I deal with issues of life, in my own personal life, my families, and I see the world, and I see issues, politically as well, and I see people, and how they feel.  Well, I can get my eyes off of Christ.

And you know, I am just trying to sort it out, even as I write, because life is important.  What you do with your life is important.  How you look at life, and how you deal with situations.  I am not perfect far from it.  But being the old girl that I am now…..I can easily recall, how just searching for God, through Christ, has made a difference for me.  There are so many things though, that I have not accomplished, or done, or been able to do, that can make me stumble.  I don’t want to stumble.

So, I am just sorting my feelings out here, and just knowing how much I need to seek God more so.  So many have the outlook, that you just receive your salvation, and thats it.  You are safe.  But, I don’t see it like that.  I take the scriptures to heart, when it says, work out your salvation with trembling and fear.  I take to heart, that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.  I take to heart….

That I have my part in it.  I have to discipline myself sometimes, I have to bring it all to the obedience of Christ.

And maybe you can relate to this, maybe not.  But I actually get jealous, and angry for God, when people deny Him.  When they say terrible things about God, when they mock Him.  When they ignore Him……So I take this to heart….

I have to….right now I have to.  I am not sure what I am feeling.  Maybe it is sorrow, we did have a death in our family.  Maybe it is a sense, that nothing is forever, unless it is with God.  I am sad, this family member was so young.  Why did it have to happen?

But even through this I know the answer is to press into God more! Not less, I can never pull back in who I am in Christ.  Even if I am sad.  Even if I cannot control my own opportunities.  I know God can.  So, I just want to press into God more.

A friend asked, recently, when do you feel more alive? (sweet Narita, maybe she will read this)  And my answer was:  In all honesty, when I am close to God!  And that is the ultimate truth for me, when I am.  He is the way, the truth and the life.  I know that!  And I know what life was like without Him.  That was not life.  That was being like the walking dead.  So no, I will not pull back, no matter what I am feeling.  Because He fills my cup with life, in Him, as I live move, and have my being.

I don’t know all the answers.  And I do not pretend to know.  But I just sense right now, how precious life is, and in Christ.  I don’t know you, or your situation.  I don’t know what you are feeling, or going through.  But, I do know there is a God.  I know it with all my being.  More so, then I did yesterday.  You see, everyday I have to search for God.  And every day, I find Him, when I search.

Today is no different.  Just that I find Him, in different ways.

His love, compels me to search.  And I don’t want to be legalistic.  But, I know there are ways, to reach Him, according to His excellence.  I suppose this is one other reason why I am adamant about using only a King James bible.  Purity, preservation, something about going back to the old way of doing something, opposed to modern techniques, or technology.  Seeking God.  By prayer, the greatest way of communicating to a King.  My friend, my Lord, my savior.

Jesus, is my greatest friend.  And I just have a sense, more then ever, how precious His friendship is to me.  But I have my part…..

And I guess, this is just a little rant of my own, to sort it all out, but I think of who God is, and His patience.  I also see, what His word says, His warnings.  His anger, as well, and I see how history even in the word of God, tells us, who God is, and what He expects.  The fear of God is healthy for a soul.

I don’t know, I just want to grow, but I want to do it Gods way.  And what good is life, if we don’t grow, in who the creator intended us to be?  Its life, lets live it for His glory.  Or what counts?  I just want to make a difference.  In my own life, and yes in others.  But we have to see, we have to know, we have to try…..

Have you ever had company over, and gave your “clean” house a thorough cleaning?

I liken this to our souls as well.  You see, when you know company is going to come over, and visit, say for some kind of event, or holiday, you take the extra time, to shine it up, dust, sanitize, and make your home presentable, so your guests, will find it in the best condition.

Recently for Labor Day, we had family over.  We are not one for entertaining, but because it was family, we wanted to bless them, and so we did extra, and more when it came to our cleaning.

Now mind you, we keep a clean house, anyway, we are organized for the most part, and we keep up with daily chores, washing dishes, sanitizing etc.

But I have to admit, dusting, is not one of my priorities.  In fact, I hate to dust.  It still gets done, but it is not done constantly.

But it made me think, about our souls.  I don’t think many of us, want to admit this, but I truly believe, even the best Christian, has to maintain your soul, and clean up some things.

Its called growing, it is called repenting, and it is necessary, for your own growth, to every once in a while do some reflecting, and pray, and ask God if there is something that has to be cleansed?

You see, just as we had guests over, Christ visits our hearts, and souls as well.  I don’t know about you, but I don’t want Christ to find something in my soul, that would “grieve the Holy Spirit.”

I just know myself that well, when I am feeling off, maybe cold, or indifferent, that I have to run to the throne, and seek my dear Lord.  I need to repent, I need to be humble, I need to cry to Him, and say Lord, I don’t understand.  But help me, help my faith.

I guess this is why I have written my two books, about faith, and curses, because I so want to please God, and I want to help others as well, but I know, how things can affect me, when I am not right with God, or I am off.

There are so many ministries, that do not address, this, in fact, they are into self, or pleasing yourself, and that is so wrong.  We have to make pleasing God the priority.

So you have to do some reflecting, you do have to discipline yourself, you do have to ask God, and “try” to do that housecleaning.  Yes, God will make the difference, and wash you by the blood of Jesus, but you have to check out your robes of righteousness.  Is there a stain, from a thought, a sin, a place, where hopefully you did not let the devil in?

You see, these are our souls.  We have to maintain them.  The Bible tells us to work out our salvation, with fear and trembling.  Oh the fear of God is such a good thing.  It keeps us out of trouble.

Yes we can all use help, in cleaning, as if our own homes.  I would love to have a maid, but since, I don’t I have to do it.  In this photo, my husband and son stepped in, and helped a little.  That was so nice, and I was so touched by their help, I took a photo of them.  God bless them….

A good friend, may help you, counsel you, and even extend grace, when it comes to matters like this.  To help you as well.

But it is our responsibility, to dust ourselves off, and maintain our relationship with Christ.  Friend, don’t take your soul for granted, even if you have accepted Christ.

Yes, you were given a clean garment, a robe of white, when you made Christ your Lord, and savior.  And He is so wonderful, He will give it to anyone, who calls on Him, and believes.  But after that you better watch it, and know for you walk in this earth, and the enemies goal is to deceive you, and to cause you to stumble, and yes fall.

And if you have not friend, accepted Christ I implore you to seek Christ.  Make it right with Him.  This is not about religion, this is about knowing the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.  Make it right with Christ.  This is your soul, and someday, when you die, you do not want to have known you had the chance even by reading this, and not making it right with Christ.  Turn to Him, seek Him, repent, and make Him your Lord and savior.  You will never regret it.  I am so glad, He found me, but I made Him my Lord and savior.

I am a firm believer in repenting, daily, I suppose its like my daily dusting.  But I do it because I so want to please father, and like I said, I just know when something is off, and when I do this, my joy, my sense of peace returns.  God knows, when our spiritual houses are clean, and I want Him to see it clean, and acceptable for His presence.

Blessings, and love, Just my thoughts.  Elena Ramirez

My soul cleaveth unto the dust:  quicken Thou me according to Thy word.  I have declared my ways, and Thou heardest me:  teach me Thy statutes.  Make me to understand the way of Thy precepts so shall I talk of Thy wondrous works.  My soul melteth for heavings: strengthen Thou me according unto Thy word.  Remove from me the way of lying:  and grant me Thy law graciously.  I have chosen the way of truth; thy judgments have I laid before me.  I have stuck unto Thy testimonies: O Lord put me not to shame.  I will run the way of thy commandments when Thou shalt enlarge my heart.  Psalm 119:25-32

I love the King James scriptures, and I try to tell you in love, how important it is to use a King James, but there is no way any other version, can speak this truth like this, the way God intended it to be, and the anointing of this scripture speaks volumes.  In fact, this entire chapter, talks about the word, and His law, and His testimonies.  I recommend reading all of Psalms 119 from a King James Bible…it is long, but it so ministers to my heart when I read it concerning Gods word.  Dust off your bible, and read it.  Why would anyone want less?  And to deny yourself Gods food for thought, is starving yourself.  Another thing perhaps, to write about another day…..

Just another Thought…..

IMG_0005 (2)Motives, about faith. Is it because you want something from God? Or is it because you want to be in His presence?

I wonder how insulting that is to God, by some of these teachings, that one seeks God for what they want, or need.

Yet, if we did seek Him, for who He is, how much greater our faith would be, in honor of Him. Because of who He is, because He is the creator of heaven and earth. Because nothing is impossible with Him.

But to only go to God, just when you need something, or want something, is like saying, God you are an ATM machine.

Oh folks, we need to see this is wrong, we need to seek God, for who He is, and love Him, like the children that we are, and like He is the King that He is, Almighty, and powerful.

There is none like my God, and I would even go so far, to try and convict you in this, because the fear of God, is the beginning of wisdom.  He holds our souls in our hands.  Lets stop, and see, and not take our Lord for granted.  Nor His sacrifice on the cross.

We cannot, frustrate the grace, God has given us, but we learn who He is, by His Holy word, His commandments, His truth.  Even by the word, we read, and yes, I recommend the King James Bible, for this reason as well.  Nothing, missing, nothing broken.

We want to be people, that are made complete in love, because of what Christ did on the cross for each one of us.  And I hope if anything this stirs up your remembrance of His sacrifice, His love, His obedience.  He did this, for us, because He loves us.  So we have to see this.  And seek Him, for who He is.

Not because of what we get from God.

A Prayer of Hope….

Father, help us, help your people.  Lord, there are so many mixed messages out there, even from other Christian brothers and sisters, and Lord, what do you see?  Yes, we need your help.  But we need you more then anything.  Your truth, your ways, your characteristics, that change us.  Lord please just do a new thing, and reveal yourself, and correct us, in Love.  Have mercy, have your way, because of who you are.  Because your Love, never fails.  In Jesus name.  Amen

As an update on my Book, “How to have Faith”  is at the publishers right now.  I will be making a formal announcement very soon.  Till then, just go to the top of my blog here, and see, the information concerning it.

IMG_0027Salvation, is the greatest gift, we can receive from Christ.  When you have been lost, caught in sin, saddened and disappointed, in people, and life, going to Christ, for comfort, and for true meaning in life, takes on new meaning, when you give your heart to Christ.

Your priorities change.  Your ideals change.  Your agenda, wants to change.  Everything, that was once important, as far as the world thinks, like power, or money, greed, or just controlling and manipulating situations, to one’s advantage, is no longer important.  This is the way, the world thinks.  Its about me, me, me.  And thats the wrong, goal.

If you have given your heart to Christ, you realize, how much of a sacrifice it was for Christ to give His life for you.  You understand, the penalty of sin, was given for your benefit.  So you feel grateful.  And if you are grateful, you realize, you have a role for Christ.  You want others to be saved too, and you want to be used by God.   You want to do something.  Small big, or large, but you want to be used by God.

A humbleness comes over you.  Its no longer about you, but God.  So the goal is….How do I bring glory to God?  How can I show you love?

Jesus said unto Him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.  Matthew 22:37-39.

Christmas, has passed, and this morning, as I woke up, I sense and understand, how precious life is.  How precious my Salvation is.  I don’t see things like I used to.  Even as a Christian.  You grow.  You see, we are on the vine, with Christ, and with His love, His truth, and His Holy Spirit, we think, and feel differently.  It is a process…..

Today, I want to inspire you, for as a “seasoned” Christian, I have learned a lot.  I have changed a lot.  I still believe, I have a lot more to learn, and lets be honest, that is from moment to moment, and breath to breath, till our time is over on this earth.  We still have room to learn, and to grow, and to be the best we can be for Christ.

So, God is not done with me, as He is not done with you either.  But, I want to be a role model for Christ.  I want to be an example, that someone, can look at and say.  If He did that for her, He can do it for me.  I am believing to do great things for God in 2013.  So, I want to do more, and greater than before….Because God has made a difference for me, and saved me.

And believe me, He has done a lot for me.  I am someone, who was broken.  I fell, and life, has not been good to me.  But, God has been good to me.  I could go on, and tell you, all the things I have done, where I missed it.  I could tell you, how sometimes, I was my own worst enemy.  I could even tell you, how I have struggled, with just who I am.  In my family, or the lack of it, etc.  I could go on and on.

But, no, I want to start, even here with a clean slate, and tell you, that I have gotten this far because of the grace of God.

I want to inspire people.  I want to speak a word of truth to the lost, and I want to walk in love.  And to be a reflection of Christ.  I want to serve others, and make a difference in someones life, because of what Christ has done for me.  Sure, there are still, lots of things God has to change in me, and guide me through.  But, I am telling you, I want you to see that for yourself too.  But more then anything, I want to bring glory to God.  In who I am.  So what has to change, within me?  What would stop the flow?

Pride, is one thing….when we put up that wall, and refuse to make a difference.  That can stop us.  It stops the flow.  Because the priority is not on God, its on something else.  Like oneself.  I John 2:15-17 Love not the world, neither things that are in the world.  If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in Him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the father but is of the world.  And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof:  but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

When I watch television, I see some pretty talented people, and they have such wonderful gifts of communication, and they are beautiful etc.  And then you see the fruit of them.  They are broken, and so full of themselves, that the priorities, they display, are not at all Christ like.  And you wonder, why?  They are so gifted, they are so talented, and the glory they should be giving to God, is not given.

And then, I see the quiet Christians.  They also are gifted, and yet they could do so much.  But they do not.

And I wonder about that too…..Why don’t they make a difference?

What stops us from being effective?  What hinders our walks?  What makes us fearful, so we don’t shine, like we should in Christ?

Is it fear?  The only one we should fear is God.  But, if we fear people, or even the devil, we are not being effective.  Where does it say in Gods word, to fear the devil?  No where.  Over, and over again, it says, and expresses fear God.  No where should we fear people.  We need to get our balance back.  We need to grow, and change.

Yes, we need a healthy fear, of God, to stay away from evil, not to be a part of it, because the consequences is Gods punishment.

And many people, pastors, and yes other Christians, do not talk about the consequences.  Hell and brimstone, because they do not want to offend people.  But I tell you, in truth and love, this is something, that needs to bring truth, and insight, because many people will miss it.  Heaven and Hell is real.

As you know, I am a promoter of the King James Bible.  I sense the anointing, the power, the truth from this Bible.

And it does something for me spiritually, that strengthens me.  That makes me see, I can grow, even more in Christ, and I can do more for Him, because I hear HIS voice, and no other voice.  Distractions, they can make us lose our focus.  Our sense of who we are in Christ.

We need to pray, the body of Christ needs to pray, and ask God, for direction, and wisdom.  I know I do, if I am to be fulfilled in this calling God has placed in me.  I don’t want to miss it any more.  I don’t want to lose my sense of perception, of His power, because I may be doing something, I should not.

I am an ambassador for Christ.  Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.  II Corinthians 5:20.

So I am praying for you….But, that also means, I have to be extremely careful, what God sees.  But what the world sees as well.  I cannot act like the world, and sin, and do this and that, and expect God to be glorified in that.  I cannot put myself in situations, that contradict who I am in Christ.

And Christians really need to take a good look at themselves in this.  Because if we act like the world, in hate, or sinning, gossiping, or just anything, that steals the virtues God has given us, we will miss it.  Are we compromising who we are in Christ?  Accepting sin, or tolerant, of it in our own lives?  We will miss Gods plan, but we will also miss the plan God has for us, in the blessings He has for us.

There are times, we may be the only ambassador for Christ available.   And a person, will see that, and turn to Christ, because of the fruit, they see.  Because the truth was spoken.  Because God used that person, to bring light. and hope, as to who He is.  But, if we are not obedient, and we are not watching our own lives, and what is seen, we will not make a difference.

I will never forget the person, God used to bring me to His throne.  It was someone I worked with.  And I loved this person like a sister, and she did me too, for a time, but sadly, she left my life.  No longer a friend.  I don’t know why.  But I am grateful to God, He used her to bring me to His throne.  But now that she is gone, I miss the friendship, in Christ, but I am well aware, people cannot fill that void. Only God can.

You see, God used her for a few seasons, to inspire me, but after a time, He changed the pace. He changed, the situation.  All I can say, is be aware of whose life you are touching, when you say you are a Christian.  And be love, in and out of seasons.

This year, more then ever, I pray as a resolution, to grow.  To press into my Lord, more in prayer, and in love.  And yes, I want to be a role model, but more then anything, I want to just sense and know my Lord is pleased.  What ever He decides, in the future, I just pray, that things would change.

Even now, I am working on a book of faith, and the principles to have it, and hopefully it will be out in the near future.  But, I see my part in it, and I am not leaving it to chance.  I am believing God for the provision, or a sponsor for it.  But whatever I do, If I can overturn a stone, or take a different approach in my walk.  By just listening, and being love, like He is love, then I will do so.  In obedience.

To write, or share a vision, or to just be obedient in my writing, as my gift and calling.  To help someone.  To show them the light, to inspire them, that with Christ is the way, the truth, and life.  John 14:6  Then I am doing what I should be doing.  I am going in His “way” not mine.  But, I have to determine in my heart, whatever it is, it must be done to God, and not to man.  This obedience, has to be to Him, first and foremost.  And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.  Colossians 3:23

What would Jesus do?  And what can I do for my Jesus, who gave His life on the cross, so I can have this gift of Salvation?  How can I bring someone to Christ, by what I do?  Its a process, but its all to His glory, and praise, and as His ambassador, I just have to give it my all and all for Him.  Because He gave His all for me.  Every day, we have to start all over?  And give Him our all.  Are you starting over?  Are you ready to give it your all?

I declare, in the name of Jesus, that 2013, God will be glorified, in my life, by Jesus Christ, and His Holy Spirit.  and I will do great things for Him.  In one soul at a time, or a net full of souls.  May they see Christ in me, and may Christ be revealed, in His plan, His will.  Miracles.  I claim them now, in Jesus name.  Help me to do greater things, that maybe even someone else missed, but I will see it, and do it obedient, for your glory Father.

Humble I ask….Lord what can I do to bring glory to your throne?  Help me to do that.  In Jesus name, my prayer of hope.  Amen.

Blessings and just my thoughts,

Elena Ramirez
