WHATS MISSING FROM THE CONVERSATION ON ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION IN THE UNITED STATES ~ By Christian Author Elena Ramirez

Whats missing from the conversation on illegal immigration, in the United States?

The answer: Love and the facts. The facts, well…

I am addressing this for a few reasons. And one, is because History, has not given a full account of who we are as a culture. As Hispanics. Or Latinos. And that is a fact, that we will not let history repeat itself.

Try searching for our contributions to this nation, in your political correct books. Its not there. Its not in our school books, or Social Studies, for students. Or at least it was not taught when I was growing up, in the sixties. And I think many of us as Hispanics, we want to set the record straight. And clear the air. We are a part of this nation. And history, if you look deeper our contributions will clarify that.

As a Christian and a servant of the most high God, I have to mention love first, because as I listen to these political candidates discussing immigration, one principle, and component, that is missing, is the love, with compassion for people.

The King James Bible tells us, that we are to treat the stranger, the alien with love, as we would ourselves.

AND IF A STRANGER SOJOURN WITH THEE IN YOUR LAND, YE SHALL NOT VEX HIM. BUT THE STRANGER THAT DWELLETH WITH YOU SHALL BE UNTO YOU AS ONE BORN AMONG YOU, AND THOU SHALT LOVE HIM AS THYSELF; FOR YE WERE STRANGERS IN THE LAND OF EGYPT: I AM THE LORD YOUR GOD. Leviticus 19:33-34.

Do you see the words “love that stranger”? That is missing from the conversation of the candidates. And if any candidate says he is a Christian or reads the bible is missing that. If he is talking about immigration.

Because we are called to love one another. And we are called to be kind, and merciful. We are called to be an expression of Christ in love, and Christ told us, this is how we will be known as the disciples of Christ. With love.

Now….

I can write this, and say this, because I am an American, Hispanic, Christian writer. I understand discrimination. From my own life, even as a Christian, and a Hispanic, but from the history, my family shared with me that happened to them in the Eisenhower Era. Horror stories of discrimination, and racial profiling. Of mocking someone, and calling them names, by denying them services in restaurants, stores, and businesses. And even jobs. A means to support themselves and their families. Discrimination.

And from my perspective as I listen to these candidates, I recognize the problem of illegal immigration, but one cannot treat people with rudeness, a dismissive attitude, that is actually instigating hate from these candidates. Violating civil rights. And I do have to be careful here, and not mention all of the candidates in this group. But one. And I will not say his name, for more publicity.

I also see it, from the rhetoric, from behind computers, that screams racial discrimination, and racial profiling. People are taking this, and feeding on it, and yes behind their computers, are rudely, telling people to go back to Mexico.

Now lets talk about that for a second. Because the fact is.…Many Hispanics are Americans, and can relate to the problem of illegal immigration. But we want our borders secured. We want an administration, that will apply the laws, and rules and regulations, in an effective manner to protect our borders. This is a fact, though, I know not of one poll that was taken. To clairify this.

I have not talked to one Hispanic American who wants illegal immigration. So why does the conversation have to take this kind of tone? This kind of rhetoric?

The problem will not be solved, by spending millions of dollars, to “round up” Hispanics, and boot them back to Mexico. The government and yes all citizens of the United States, should have figured that a long time ago. And now, with things so out of hand, you propose sending “Anchor” babies as you call them back to Mexico? How can you take the Fourteenth Amendment, and now call it illegal? These American babies have rights. But to propose to round up all these people, who are part American as well is just wrong. I hope a solution is found.

But lets talk for a moment about immigration. For over 500 years, Hispanics, have integrated into American society. We have fought wars, side by side, with other races for the United States, and we have contributed to this great land, and paid our dues, and our taxes. Not as Hispanics. But with the goal in mind to be united in the United States for one cause, to protect this great land, and the freedoms it offers. And now with this kind of rhetoric we are denied, the grace we have strived for. And earned.

And for people to use this kind of rhetoric, based on the way someone looks, is racial profiling, and discrimination. Which is very insulting to our culture. Especially if you talk to Hispanic Americans, they can tell you a little bit of history, and the “hardships” they have had, in just assimilating into the culture of America. But one thing, about most American Hispanics, is we are hard workers.

We take the jobs, nobody wants, and we take a work ethic seriously, and apply ourselves. We are not asking for a handout, or to change the culture like some who come here and try to change traditions, rules, etc. We want to work. I want to work as a writer. But even Christian organizations won’t give me the time of day. Which is just my personal take and experience on it. But I know we take pride in working hard.

But we are also educated. We know, that in this culture an education is needed. We contribute as law officers, firemen, teachers, real estate brokers, and so much more. Education has given us these opportunities.

We are a whole country of immigrants, “illegal, and legal”, from the beginning of molding this country into where it is now. This is why it has been ignored. The subject of immigration. Where America turned the other eye. Because if you look at many, some, they never did it legally. They just came to America. And assimilated.

But now we have financial problems, and we do need to control the borders, not only financially but secure it for reasons, that protects us all, from intruders, and those who want to harm people, just because they are Americans. And the truth of the matter is, the system failed. And now, because the system failed you want to penalize people, pull them up by their roots, divide families, and send them back somewhere, where they may not even belong?

When did that happen last in History? I implore you? When? History should not repeat itself in this way.

I want to address this, because what I see if we do not change the conversation, the tone, their will be retaliation. There will be a rift in this country so great, that it will taint this country and its history, with hate. God forbid there would be another civil war. American Hispanics, Hispanics, illegal, or legal, will not condone or accept being treated this way.

I know my roots. I know my culture, I know my heritage of the people I identify with as Hispanics. By growing up, in this country, that enough is enough. We offer the best of ourselves, we offer love, and hope, and accept others. To live and let live. But we will not accept discrimination. We just will not.

Be warned, and I actually say this in love, we will not accept this kind of behavior. And God forbid it goes any further, but I know if this kind of rhetoric is not challenged, and people do not see the hypocrisy, by being a part of this kind of hate conversations.

There will be a fight. And thats all I can say. Careful with my own words. Because I know first as a Christian I am called to love. And forgive. But not all my people see it that way. For when people come to the point where push comes to shove it will be returned. I just know my culture. And my heritage as also a legal American. I know the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights.

And I know we would rather be United, so we all can stand. Because divided, we will fall as a nation. But America needs to see the problem, with love and compassion. And know the facts.

We have roots so deep in America, most of us, that you cannot lump everyone in this basket of hate. And tell them to leave this country, when their roots are deeper than those whose agenda is based on hate. With forefathers, who are a part of the land. And its history. With American Indian blood. As also a part of their genetic heritage.

We need to love one another. We need God, more then ever. America needs to repent, and find its way back to God.

Folks, and that just does not seem to be on anybodies agenda. We need order. We need our borders secure. We need common courtesy and respect, and acceptance of who we are in America. As we offer it to you as well, and your ethnic differences, that make your race great. What ever that race or ethnicity may be.

But we need to see the problem. Leaders have to have the mind of unity, and not division in this country. For all races, and all people. They need to speak it out in their speeches, to unite people instead of instigating a fight. Or with silence. With a solution, that does not require hate. Please see this, before this gets out of hand. We all have to see this. We all have to see our own behavior, and be accountable.

Truth of the matter is, whatever decision that is we are accountable to God. I pray, it is with compassion and love.

All people are created in the image of God but not all people feel that way at this time. All babies are gifts from God, in the heritage of our culture. This is why I will vote Republican. But I will not vote for racists or haters. Be strong in who you are. Be courageous. Let us be educated and particapators of the voting process. Our American Hispanic votes count. God bless you… Let us seek God in these times.

Let me say who I am, and then you can make your own determination, but I pray, you see the truth, I am trying to bring. I want to bring some balance. For understanding. This is only my perspective. But I say it as a “free” Christian Hispanic American. I say it, boldly, because I have freedom of speech.

I am a Christian, American Hispanic, fourth generation, a “legal” citizen of the United States. I state I am a Christian, first, because I am so grateful for what Christ did for me. I do not take my salvation lightly. I am grateful to Christ, for taking my sins on that cross, and so I want to serve Him. I serve Him, in the gifts and callings He has given me.

I am a writer as a Christian, and an American. I may express some things, about my heritage, as a Hispanic. And there is a great legacy, from even my forefathers, who have come into this country, and yes even served as Americans. And let me add, I love my race!

But I refuse to play the race card, in trying to motivate someone, or to make a statement. With my race as the foundation. I think it hurts us, as a race. I think it hurts us even in our nation. Yes, lets celebrate each other, and the gifts we have, in our heritage, and ethnicity. There are so many different things we can offer each other. But right now, as a writer, I need to say, its wrong, what I see in our nation.

Lets be honest, there is discrimination. There are those, who are not taught to love one another. Or to accept other people. They do not know, that God says He is not a respecter of persons. He loves us all. But we have to see this, in His way, not ours.

And maybe this may let them see another perspective. You pray people see the injustice. But you also see, its their choice. You may not agree with it, but with the laws that are implemented, one should be able to have freedom if you do it right. You don’t have to like me, but don’t discriminate because you just don’t like me.

But what I see right now, in this time of history of the year and month of July, 2015, my country is confused.

I see hate crimes, and people, justifying it in the name of a flag. I see, two sides, and I see, both have good points, so I don’t condemn, or put down someones opinion about a flag. I just wish, people loved each other.

I see laws implemented from our supreme court, and people who have Christian beliefs, are now being penalized, for their beliefs. In not having association or wanting to have business dealings with those that would contradict their beliefs.

Are we a nation now, that cannot even pick and choose, or reserve the right to not have business dealings with people who actually offend who we are in Christ? Some are being forced, by laws, that go totally against their conscience.

If you saw a bank robber, a thief, for the sake of business, would you have dealings with them? Probably not. Because it would go against your ethical, and moral conscience.

Yes, we are to love one another, but we are not called to be with those that ask us to do something that challenges our own belief systems. When I look at these people, who now are demanding rights. I see, they are trying to make a statement as to who they are, and what rights they want. But that is their choice. It is as if, they want to be their own “race.”

But….

Why should someone else be penalized because they don’t agree with it, or “contribute” to their belief system. Or be a part of that race? Its like all these things if you look at it symbolically is an issue of race.

But there is segregation, why be forced with someone who does not agree with you? Because freedom to others, are being denied, when you change the view by political agendas.

Segregation even in business is o.k. I am not going to sue someone, because they want to go to church together as a race. Yet someone is being penalized for wanting to be separate from that kind of behavior.

Our forefathers, implemented laws for that freedom, or religion. And now it is challenged. Why are we departing from the foundation of who we are in this nation?

Yet other religions, that come to our United States are given grace in this, but we as Christians are not. And asking to change things. Why? Why should we change our stance, when this is who we are?

I see a presidential nominee, who made harsh remarks, about Mexico. And yes, he was harsh, but his motivation, was to protect the borders. But instead, many are offended by him. And what I see, is people denying him, freedom of speech. And they have made a boycott against him.

I don’t understand, why we as a nation cannot come together and be united, and not love one another. But if you try to do it politically, its not the same as the way of the Lord.

Its like everybody wants their “race” or their agenda, upheld, but there is no understanding for those who don’t want to be a part of it. Some of these agendas, are not legal, to be asked for.

Why is their confusion about upholding the security of our borders, compared to making it a racial motivation? And calling it discrimination? And playing the race card? Its not about race, its about securing our borders, by the laws that have been implemented.

So my point, is that we need to find our way.

Truth, and being united, should come with mutual respect. Whether you agree with someone or not.

I certainly don’t want to push my Christian belief on any one, but I certainly do not want to be denied my freedom of speech either. Or my right to have religious freedom. Or my right for freedom of ethical matters, to be imposed on me. By someone else’s agenda.

But using the race card, to make my point is not right, its not ethical, nor does it promote unity.

I want to achieve success, by my hard work, but I don’t ask for you to give it to me, because of my race. I ask God for it, because I really do try and want to please Him first. By keeping His commandments, by yes the golden rule, to love one another. But I know even in my bible, it says mark those, who are disobedient to His truth, and have nothing to do with them.

Christ taught us to hate the sin, but love the sinner.

We have all come here to this great nation, to have freedom, but don’t deny someone their freedom, because you don’t agree with them. Know your rights, in the sight of God. And the law of the land.

But you have to do it by the laws of the land, as well. You have to do it, with the mind set, that we as citizens, should have rights. Our veterans should have top priority, and we cannot take care of the world. Because of a race, or even a religion. Our borders, need to be protected.

Our country is at stake right now, and I see so much division, that is being spoken in the name of being politically correct. That I think we have lost our moral compass, that our freedoms are being challenged, and that love is being thrown out the window.

I hope in all that you may think, that you would find the balance. Because we all live here, but we need to take care of one another, and be in unity as a nation. Divided we fall. We have to do things legally, in the sight of God and our nation.

Call me a legalist, if you want but I am not hitting you on the head with my bible. But I will, and do try and uphold the laws of my King James Bible, and I want to see the laws of the land, especially concerning our borders held up.

I am grateful for grace. From God, but we need it here too, so thats why I say let us bless God, and not just ask Him to bless us, as a nation.

But we have to get “law” and order activated, or we as a nation, will go under. Spiritually, and personally, as individuals, and as a nation.

I want to wish all of my fellow AmerICANS, a blessed and happy fourth of July. To those who honor this country, who have served this country, by going to war, or just being a good American neighbor, I salute you, and thank God for you, and yes I thank God.

So I am getting ready to celebrate with my family today, and I wash my little American flag shirt, hang it out, and I get this thought….

That it looks like the country, on a map. And in that moment, I contemplated my blessings as an American.

And I am so grateful to God that He gave me this heritage to be an American, and a Christian, where we are free in this nation. Our freedoms, exceed the boundaries, in so many ways…..

I am so glad to be an American. That I am overwhelmed in this moment, with great emotion that it is such a great privilege. I am so grateful to God, that in this land, we are given opportunity, and we can….I can as an American….So can you! We can, stand.

United we stand, but divided we would fall. And so as I share these thoughts, I pray, we would see truth. As Americans.

For, we can do great things, we can be successful. We can stand up for that which is right, we can defend the hurting, and defenseless, we can make a wrong right, and we can always be victorious. There are so many opportunities because of our freedom, and the heritage we have as Americans.

But I think sometimes, we forget who we are. I think we take things for granted. I think, we have lost our way in some ways…And I think, we have forgotten God and who He is, and why this nation is great.

I love America. Yes, I was born and raised in this great country. I am a fourth generation American and my Father, and Grand father served in the United States military. So I know my heritage….

I have in my lifetime, seen this country be great because of who we are, as a nation, and because yes, our foundation was built on God.

Our Constitution, our blessed Constitution, that our forefathers wrote for us, they knew, the potential of this great nation. Because they knew God. They never intended for God to be taken out of our public, or our freedoms….

And I wonder, why things are the way they are now, but yet, I know, we can overcome, and we can do great things still. But I pray, we repent, and turn back to God. Are we reaping sin, because we allow some things, that go against God?

You see, it is God that has made this nation great. It is God, who has established His ways, and commandments, for us to follow to be blessed. But if we turn away from His truth, and the truth even from our Constitution, we will not be blessed.

If any of us turn away, from what Christ did, to pay the penalty of our sins, not only are we lost as a nation, but lost individually, and our souls, have no refuge.

I pray that America, even this fourth of July, would seek God. Individually, and for our nation.

I pray we would honor our soldiers, who have given their lives, and they would have freedom to seek God as they choose. I pray, things would change to the good, but only if we seek God.

So many of us, are discouraged, but God has a plan. If we keep trusting God, I know we can.

I am just an American, who knows, how great this country is, but I know how great my God is. And I also know the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge to get wisdom. (Proverbs 1:7 King James paraphrasing)

I fear, what could happen, if we do not get right with God. We need to wise up so we can be blessed more so, and avoid things, I cannot even fathom, or put into words the great tragedy I sense.

Yet, this could happen, if we don’t see the direction we are going as a country….

So, I pray we get back to what counts in the eyes of God. I pray, we change our ways, and in God we will trust, to be great AmerICANS. Happy fourth of July…..

Remember my American friends, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHICH STRENGTHEN ME. PHILIPPIANS 4:13.

BLESSED IS THE NATION WHOSE GOD IS THE LORD; AND THE PEOPLE WHOM HE HATH CHOSEN FOR HIS OWN INHERITANCE. PSALMS 33:12.

THIS CHRISTIAN ANGRY OVER GULF SPILL

Below my blog is a testimony of this photo from Florida entitled: "The Best of God."

I love the Gulf, I love the beauty that is there. And I love, the fact, that God spoke to me there….(see my Testimony below, The best of God.)

Its over two months, since the Gulf spill, began. And every day, as I listen to the news reports, and I see the devastation, on the television, I admit I get angry.

As a Christian, we are warned, to be careful about being angry. CEASE FROM ANGER, AND FORSAKE WRATH: FRET NOT THYSELF IN ANY WAY TO DO EVIL. PSALMS 37:8 We are told by God, to put that into check, and to watch ourselves, so that we do not do anything, we should not. Anger is an ugly thing, when it is released, without restraint. So, I do want to express some restraint, as I communicate, and share, but it also makes me sad.

I tend to look at things sometimes symbolically. And how they sometimes relate to situations, or life. And I long to see things as God does. And I just wonder, and think….Lord, how this must grieve you. After all he is the creator, of heaven and earth. And please, especially as I am angry, don’t give me this baloney, that we evolved. Or that we were some burst of energy, like some scientific theories, want to push on us.

No, the truth of the matter, is that we are all created in Gods love. Read Genesis. And that place, called the Gulf, was created by God himself. I know, there are many places on this earth, that reflect beauty, peace, and such a splendor of such great magnitude, that you cannot help and see God’s hand. Like Hawaii, it truly is paradise. And each place of the earth, was created by God, who basically created the earth for his entertainment. For his purposes. And by his power. The ocean, the deep oceans was created by God, to supply food, and to remind us of his power, as he stops the waters at the shore. The Bible, talks about the waters, and when God created the earth, he parted the waters. Below the surface of the water, sure mankind, has penetrated some of the mystery of what lies below. But only God knows. For he created each living fish, plant, and placed everything there for his entertainment, for his pleasure. For his reasons…

He is able to see within those waters, where we cannot see. And he sees the pollution, he sees the oil spilling more, and more into those waters He sees our souls as well…and he sees the pollution there as well.

For as He created us, for his reasons, I see how sin, how ugly when we let it go unchecked, un-repented, is like that oil spill. Dark and murky, it destroys, pollutes, and distorts the beauty of who we are. He sees that…God almighty sees it all. FOR OUR OFFENSES ARE MANY IN YOUR SIGHT, AND OUR SINS TESTIFY AGAINST US. OUR OFFENSES ARE EVER WITH US, AND WE ACKNOWLEDGE OUR INIQUITIES REBELLION, AND TREACHERY AGAINST THE LORD, TURNING OUR BACKS ON GOD, FOMENTING (1 instigate or stir up (an undesirable or violent sentiment or course of action) See note at incite) SO JUSTICE IS DRIVEN BACK AND RIGHTEOUSNESS STANDS AT A DISTANCE….

God is watching this all from a distance. And I just wonder are we as a country, seeking Gods help, and wisdom in this, or do we think we can handle it ourselves? Or just trusting BP to take care of it? And then after hearing what happened yesterday, with our President and BP that made me somewhat angry. Twenty Billion, to be given in compensation. Is that what our Gulf is worth? FOR I KNOW HOW MANY ARE YOUR OFFENSES AND HOW GREAT YOUR SINS. YOU OPPRESS THE RIGHTEOUS AND TAKE BRIBES AND YOU DEPRIVE THE POOR OF JUSTICE IN THE COURTS. AMOS 5:12 How can that dollar amount, compensate the many, families and people, who have made the fishing industry their occupation for life? For many families, this is a generational occupation, and the damage, will take many years to be restored? Is twenty billion going to cover all that?

Well, to change my mood from anger….

I haven’t traveled as much, as I would like. But, I have been fortunate, and blessed to go to Florida on a few occasions. And every time, I have, I have felt the presence of the Lord, on those beautiful shores of the gulf, and the Atlantic ocean. I have seen his hand in every bit of creation. So, to know that, it is being polluted. Angers me. (I am sorry, I know I am venting)

But I do pray. I pray, for the many people, who have depended on those waters for their livelihood. I pray for restoration. I pray, that our President, would make wise decisions, and as the leader of our great country, would not leave the decisions to BP in correcting this catastrophe. I pray, that well would just go dry, and stop polluting those waters. I pray, for all of Gods creatures, who inhabit the land, and waters, would by his mighty hand, moved from the pollution of that oil. I just pray, because if I let this anger go without praying. It would be released into something as ugly as that spill.

How I wonder, how God controls anger over, and over again. When He see our sins, unchecked, polluting us, polluting our souls. How merciful he is. Yet, he is a gentleman, and gives us a free will. But we reap, what we sow. Just as this spill if it will continue will cause great damage. And I know in this spill, he is merciful as well. And He restores. He can restore, the gulf as well. But we have to ask, we have to pray.

For he is not mocked, and what we spill into our lives, without his intervention, will pollute. I am so grateful for my Lord Jesus, and for his sacrifice, by the blood of Jesus, he cleanses my sins. How I pray, and plead his blood over this gulf spill. And for all of our anger, for we see by mankind, and its need for oil, we have come to this place of pollution, in our gulf. I just pray for his restoration…..and put this anger into check.

EPHESIANS 4:26

IN YOUR ANGER, DO NOT SIN. DO NOT LET THE SUN GO DOWN WHILE YOU ARE STILL ANGRY, AND DO NOT GIVE THE DEVIL A FOOTHOLD.

REVELATION 1:5

A Prayer of Hope….

Father, I praise you, almighty God, creator of heaven and earth. Creator, of those great waters in the gulf, that are now being polluted, by this oil spill. Do I want to blame anyone….no. But I am angry, at the devastation there. And I am angry to see how the devil, comes to kill steal and destroy. Lord great creator, help curb this anger, that I am feeling. But I know many others are feeling as well. Lord, I pray for results right now. I pray, to see your hand, in this, as you stop that oil, from spilling any further. Lord, I plead with you, for the sake of the waters, to be pure for our food, for peoples lives, to be fulfilled, and for each creature you created to inhabit those waters. I pray, for restoration. Lord, please do something, and turn this situation around. I pray, for each soul, to know you, so sin, would not pollute as well. Lord, I just pray, and bring this all to the obedience of Christ, so my anger, will be put into check, knowing, and so grateful I know this, that you can turn this around, and you can heal the waters, the land, your creatures, and restore. I know, for you daily restore me to be who I can be in you….In Jesus name, Amen

MEMORIAL DAY REMEMBER GOD ~ By Christian Author Elena Ramirez

Today, is a National Holiday, Memorial Day. A day, yes we need to remember, the sacrifices, of the many, men and women, who gave their life. For our great country. My father also served this country. And I am proud, and blessed he was my Father.

For he taught me, that we are free….And he expressed, so many things about our country, that gives evidence, that we have freedom, because of those who went before us, and have given their lives as a sacrifice. My father, believed in what this nation stood for. But he also taught me about God. Because a prayer was answered. From our founding Fathers. Who prayed for our nation. Our nation, is a great nation, because “In God We Trust.” Because we are “One Nation Under God.”

So with the honor, thanks and remembrance we give our soldiers today, we give our respect. But, I pray, we would take a moment also, and think, with that, and more reverence and ponder on God. For all he has done for this great nation.

You see, the truth of the matter is, because of God, this country is a place of refuge, it is a place of freedom. Where else, can you honor God, in the way you want, or to be able to speak a word and not be afraid, of someone silencing your voice? You can shout out to the Mountain tops, what you believe, because it is your right. Well, as my voice today, I do shout out;

“HOW GREAT YOU ARE DEAR LORD…THANK YOU FATHER! THERES NOTHING BETTER THAN A HALLELUJAH TO YOU LORD.”

I WILL REMEMBER THE WORKS OF THE LORD: SURELY I WILL REMEMBER YOUR WONDERS OF OLD. I WILL ALSO MEDITATE ON ALL YOUR WORK, AND TALK OF YOUR DEEDS. PSALM 77:11-12

Christ, gave his life, so we could have freedom as well. From the oppression of sin. And thats why I mention this, because the Bible tells us, there is no greater gift than for a person to lay down his life for his friend. John 15:13 GREATER LOVE HAS NO ONE THAN THIS, THAT HE LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS. Christ did that, so we could be free, now and eternally. And if you have not given your life to Christ, you do not know the difference. I do, because I recognized what Christ did for me, my life has been changed. And I am free, from the bondage of sin, I was once in.

So, today, in my celebration of my Memorial day, I thank God, for sending his son, so that I may be free, and I thank the many men and women, who laid down their life, for my rights for freedom….and I call them “My Friends.”

I thank you my dear American friends, who have served this country, by giving your life, by sacrificing, even as Christ did, so I can have freedom to write this, to say, God bless America, and America, let us bless God.

Thank you to you and your families, for they sacrificed as well, letting you go off to war, or to other lands just to defend our rights. I thank them as well….I call you my dear friends, with great appreciation….for laying your life down for my freedom. For believing in what this nation stands for. One Nation Under God…..And thank you Lord, for this great nation, that I call home, for as an American, I am free. But more free because of what you did for me, on the cross.

A PRAYER OF HOPE….

Lord, thank you for my Father, who taught me about you and prayer. Thank you, that he served this country. A country that has freedom to believe in you freely. Thank you, for my Salvation, and that Christ laid his life down for my freedom as well. And thank you for the many men and women, who have served our country, this great United States, bless them and their families. Father, we pray you truly do bless America. But I pray, our hearts would be opened to bless you. For all you do, daily, for us. For giving life, abundantly, especially in the United States. For we are one nation under God. And this American, does believe….In God we trust. Thank you Lord. In Jesus name, Amen

IMMIGRATION – GODS GUIDELINES ~ A PRAYER OF HOPE DEVOTIONAL ~ By Christian Author Elena Ramirez

MY GRANDPARENTS THE BEGINNING OF MY AMERICAN HERITAGE

I am an American, this is my heritage. As an American, born and raised here, in the United States, and as a Christian, who just happens to be hispanic, I write this. My parents, were also American citizens. My Father, served in the United States Army. My mother, a nurse, served this country as well. Her parents, My grand parents were also American citizens. My heritage from my Fathers side, were also Americans. Part of that heritage, was by being American Indian.

I honor this country. I, as an American, treasure, and cherish my citizenship. There is no other nation, like the United States. With our freedoms, this is our heritage. We have rights. Our Constitution outlines our rights. So does the Bible. In God we trust. Or at least I do….So thats why I share this. “Just My Thoughts.” But thoughts I hope reflect, love.

The melting pot, of diversity and different cultures, from all over the world, has made the United States a place of refuge. Immigrants, from other lands, have fought and made their way here. This is part of our heritage. No other country, opens up her heart, and doors like ours. Yet, now, we have a big problem, will illegal immigration.

I care, about this nation. I care, because if you have been born here, you realize the freedoms, we have. And you want to see it’s borders, and ports protected. It is sad, that Arizona has had to take this matter, into their own hands, to protect themselves. But, I will just say right at this point, this is not the way to do it. This will cause racial profiling. And if something is not done before this law goes into affect, there will be some repercussions, that I dread to think about.

Yet, I believe, and want that protection for all Americans, I understand, the problems Arizona is having. I feel for them. They are being bombarded with problems, from this issue. They need to do something, but personally, I don’t think this is their problem, but our country as a whole. We should be United, and our Federal Government, should be doing their job.

So because this law will be in effect very soon, I cannot help and feel sympathetic to the “stranger” of the land. Immigrants. Whether illegal or legal. I at least, do not want to see people treated unkind, or unfairly. Discrimination, is ugly. Maybe thats why I am writing this. I see the problem, and I know, from my own heritage, we have suffered wrath because of discrimination. There are many testimonies of discrimination.

Even, as Americans, in the early fifties, my parents, suffered that, and in so many other ways, I, and my parents felt the wrath of discrimination. That I won’t go into too much detail here. But one account, that always bothered me, was my dear Father, suffered discrimination, after a long trip, he went into a restaurant for a meal. And was denied food and service, because he was hispanic. He was dressed nice, but that did not matter. Did he forgive? Did he teach me to forgive? Yes. We forgive, but we ALL should be concerned. So, nonetheless we are Americans. So, I know, by my own indigenous roots, that discrimination happens. And I am very concerned.

Now let me clarify something. I do not condone, being in this country illegally. Disobedience, to our laws, will not be tolerated. Our protection, should be first priority. The borders, should be secure, and because we pay our taxes, already, as American citizens, we should expect from our country, the United States Government, to step in and secure those borders. And for whatever reason, those borders, have not been maintained, and secured.

So when we see, Arizona, implement, a new law, that will very well, cause discrimination, the hairs, stand on my neck. Something is wrong. Why isn’t this first priority? I think we need to contact our congressmen and women, and demand, this be put on the forefront. But in the mean time, we need to walk in love.

For, when I see in the news, all the controversy, and the reports of this new law, in Arizona, I become concerned. And the only place, I know to search for truth to the answers is from the Bible. This is what the Bible says about treating immigrants.

Leviticus 19:33-34 When an alien lives with you in your land, do not mistreat him. The alien living with you must be treated as one of your native-born. Love him as yourself, for you were aliens in Egypt. I am the Lord your God.

There the Bible is telling us how to treat the immigrants. For Arizona, to take this law, and to stop people they think are immigrants, is racial profiling. They say they are not doing that, but that is a total contradiction. How else are you going to stop someone who looks illegal, but by seeing them and judging them by the color of their skin?

And also something to consider, do we as Americans, want to stop other Americans who are of hispanic descent, and make them prove their citizenship? This is not fair, not right, and will cause many problems. Can we not see this?

Now the Bible also has something to say about the way immigrants should carry themselves as well. Leviticus 18:26 But you must keep my decrees and my laws. That means everybody, needs to abide by the laws of the land. And yes, by Gods laws.

We are to honor the laws, as Jesus told us in Matthew 22 And they brought unto him a penny. [1] 20 And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription [2] 21 They say unto him, Caesar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.

I just pray, whoever is reading this, from government officials, to American citizens, and yes even immigrants, that we would honor this country, and do that which is right, in the sight of God and man.

For we will all stand before God, and this is an issue, that can no longer be just swept under the rug. As always, my prayer is God, bless America. But America, may we bless God. I pray, history, shows we took care of this, and in the right way.

IT’S NOT RELIGION IT’S RELATIONSHIP ~ By Christian Author Elena Ramirez

I know the one…who created heaven and earth. Who stops the waters at the shore….

Religion – Devotion to a religious faith, a personal set of institutionalized system of religious beliefs, attitudes and practices, a cause principle or belief held to with faith and ardor.

Please do not call it religion, to me, I call it relationship, this wonderful connection, that I have with Jesus Christ.

I tell you, and in all honesty, I get annoyed with the worlds perception, of this. Especially, when I try to explain my faith. They say something like….”Oh your religious.” And then they would get this smug, attitude. With me, and more or less alienate themselves from me. When I was weaker in my faith, I was unable to explain it. And I so wanted to. But I think I have grown in this relationship so much, that I think I can now. So bear with me, as I try and explain my definition of religion, and relationship.

I listed the definition of religion above, but thats not exactly my interpretation of religion. My definition, of religion is:

Rules made by men, or an organization, that represents, their God. But, in actuality, the relationship is not there, and all that is there are these rules, traditions, and rituals, that somehow, get in the way, of who God really is, and is so misinterpreted, in so many ways. That all you really see, is someone telling you about God, and rules about God, according to their standards, but the love wasn’t there, even at the organization. And they would not practice, what they would preach.

And Christ told us, according to the Bible, that we would know his people by the love. By the love we have for one another, and for him.

There are so many religions out there. Professing, to be the right way.

But there is only one Jesus Christ. And he is the way, the truth and the life. John 14:6

When I was growing up, in search of God, I went to many church organizations. And some would do some strange things, that even in my youth, I would question. And they would be under the guise of the name, of my Lord, Jesus. Now don’t get me wrong. Sometimes, I still learned. Now that I think about it, to be fair, and respectful, many of them did have good intentions. But they may or may not have had true foundation in the word of God. So many of them missed it. And to be honest, without that foundation of the word of God, implemented. It really does turn into religion. Whether you want to believe that or not.

Jesus told us in Matthew 23….But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. They tie up heavy loads and and put them on mens shoulders but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them. And do not call anyone on earth father for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. He says a lot more, about religious leaders who basically push people away from faith. By their actions. But as he closes that chapter he says...I have longed to gather your children together as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings. But you were not willing. Sometimes, religion, can turn us off, and then we are not willing. But we have to see through that, and see Christ, and see through religion into relationship with him, instead. The only way we can really know who he is, is by developing our relationship with him, in prayer, submission, obedience, love, and his word.

I remember asking my mom lots of questions, when we would go to different churches. Different religions. Why do they do this or that? Like… why do they keep sitting down or standing up? Why don’t they read the Bible? Why do they bow to that statue, if the first commandment says, thou shalt not have false Gods? Why can’t you celebrate Christmas, or birthdays? Why would they snub a person publicly, because they were in some kind of sin? What if they were not in sin. Is it right to judge them? Now maybe you can see through some of my questions, and you can identify with what I am saying. You might even recognize some of the religions, I checked out. My point is not to criticize any organization. But the truth of the matter, is that I finally got tired of religion. And decided to find God for myself. And I have….

Now let me try and explain the “relationship” that I have. With Jesus Christ. It is not something, that I understood early in my walk with him. I just always knew, that I loved him. I was always curious about him. I could see at an early age, his creation, and that would always cause me to ask, how did it happen etc. Thank God my mom, was not a person, who did not believe, because she would tell me, it was God. So, I always had a thought, or an understanding, even though very limited, that God was in power. At an early age, I ventured into this search for God. Going to church’s with my mother. And we went to different churches, different denominations. Different….and it was always so confusing.

My first true teachings of the Bible came, when I was about 10 or 11 years of age. A Bible bus, came into my neighborhood. A local church, that loved the kids, would come, and they gathered the kids, together, and would take them to the park. They would have Bible studies, for kids, and they made it fun, and challenging. They would love us, and treat us kind. Sometimes feeding us. They would have contests, for the kids, to see who could learn the most Bible scriptures, by memory. And to see who could bring the most kids, with them. So you could win, pretty, ribbons, with verses on them, and the big prize, would be a Bible. So, I was pretty competitive. And I would win the Bibles. Trying to get kids to go there. Anyway, to make a long story short…that was the beginning of my understanding of God. As I grew older, and into a young woman, I wanted to have fun. Yes, just like the song….Anyway, I departed from those truths, I learned on that Bible bus. I wanted to do things my way. Those were the darkest, loneliest times of my life.

And after many years, of making mistake, after mistake, and falling into sin. I began searching for God again. This time, I decided, I was going to give him, my all and all, and not walk the fence. I decided I was going to search for him, and obey him. Instead of yes, having a head knowledge of him I wanted a heart transplant. So I gave my heart back to him, and rededicated myself to him. The Bible, is the voice, that brings understanding to me. That brings instruction, truth, and revelation, as to who God is. So I can understand him in this relationship I have with him. I have learned that God is a holy God, a sovereign, and loving, compassionate God. He has been faithful to me, by giving his life as a sacrifice, so I try to be faithful to him. I am not perfect. But he is. And he has shown me, in so many ways, his word is truth. And truly nothing is impossible with him. He has healed me, physically, and spiritually, so I truly am convinced of his power, and his presence. He may be silent, in some instances, but he is there. I know it. For when he does speak to my heart, in that small voice. He does not shout, he just speaks, and my heart knows. Whenever a negative thought, comes, and it does not feel right, he reminds me….”Elena what does my word say?” And then I know for sure, what to do, and gain peace. I gain instruction, and wisdom, that only he gives. I know that I know….because I know him. I give him all my cares, all my sorrows, all my fears, all my love. Reminding him, and myself, that I am now new in him, whenever, the past, or negative thoughts try to persuade me, that I am not his daughter. He shows me that I am. And as I try and do my part, in loving him, obeying him….In return he protects me, gives me peace, gives me hope, and blesses me, in big and small ways. That I just know, that I know, it is him. It is Jesus Christ.

I can go on and on, describing my relationship with him. But to be honest some things are personal, that only he and I know about. But I know I have a relationship with him. I know his loving voice. I know, the difference between relationship and religion. I don’t knock churches, or religions, if they help you. I do go to church, because I want to learn more about God, and because he says that we need to gather together. So I do. But every time I look for a church there is the criteria, that needs to be met. And thats the love….then I look for the rest. It has to be Bible based.

I know what Christ did for me, he became the sacrifice. Some religions believe that you have to give up your life, and become a martyr. Christ did that for me. So I know the difference. I am not the sacrifice. He was. He is the lamb of God, Jesus Christ, who takes away the sins of the world. Anyway, different strokes for different folks. Whatever you believe. Thats great. I never try to force my relationship on anyone. Truth of the matter, God is the same way. He gives us all the facts, the truth, but he is always a gentleman. He gives us a free will.

But when I finally decided to believe. He showed me more then I can even say. I just know the difference….and what I have is not religion. It is a relationship. Based on real love….that I see and know. Blessings, and Just my thoughts….Elena Ramirez

A Prayer of Hope….

Father, I thank you for the relationship I have with you. I thank you for just who you are. Almighty God. Lord, you could have left me to myself, to my sins, but you loved me so much, you sent your only begotten son for me. I am grateful, that because I believe. I know I have a place with you. Father, thank you for teaching me, and prompting me as well, so I do not turn legalistic, with your rules, and make this about religion. Its always about the grace you give in this relationship, so I honor you, and just ask, that you prompt me if I ever get legalistic or religious. I do not want to be known by religion. And I certainly do not want to hit people upside the head with the Bible. Your love does not do that. It convicts, but never condemns.

Lord, many do not know you. I want to be an expression of your love, I want to do all I can to just show you to them. Lord, you will do the rest. Help that person, who might be reading this, who does not know you. That they truly can have a relationship with you, and put aside the religion. They can know, the true and living God. Thank you Lord, my Father, my savior, my friend, and counselor, and healer, Thank you….In Jesus name. Amen

EVERY DAY SHOULD BE ABOUT PRAYER ~ By Christian Author Elena Ramirez

BLESSED IS THE NATION WHOSE GOD IS THE LORD: AND THE PEOPLE WHOM HE HAS CHOSEN FOR HIS OWN INHERITANCE. THE LORD LOOKS FROM HEAVEN HE BEHOLDS ALL THE SONS OF MEN, FROM THE PLACE OF HIS HABITATION HE LOOKS UPON ALL THE INHABITANTS OF THE EARTH.

PSALMS 33:12-14

I am thankful to God, and love being an American. I was born and raised in this great nation. So were my parents. My father was in the United States army. And he had a great love of country, and taught me to appreciate this country. My mother and father, both were grateful for this country, and for our freedoms.

Both of them also taught me how important prayer is. And their influence in this, has also been a great inspiration. So with a great heritage, I received from them. To love God, and country, and to know the difference, compared to others in other countries, who do not have the rights I do…

I so appreciate our freedoms. I am thankful to God, that I live in a country, where I have freedom to pray to God. That I can speak his name. That I can go to church, and worship, wherever I choose. Our country is a great place to live. With all of our differences as a nation. I still, see the foundation that which our country was established. That we are a nation under God….And in God we trust.

So, it does make me a little sad, that we are not always united as a country. But thats the beauty of who we are. For no matter what your political affiliation may be, it is your right. To agree, or disagree. But everyone is given the right to pursue happiness.

So concerning prayer, I don’t know how you feel about it. I just know, that I serve a great and mighty God. And that he hears our prayers. And I am grateful I can pray….I believe in prayer, because God has shown me many things through prayer. He answers…

Our nation, really does need prayer. And many oppose prayer, and it is not accepted in certain situations, or places. When I was growing up, that was not a problem. But I do see it now. Times have changed. But God has not. We can still go to his throne, because we know he hears us. And that he will give us an answer to the prayers we have prayed. Many times, we may pray, and God may be silent. But it does not mean he does not hear us. But it could mean, that we are not in right position with him. So, we do not get answers from him. Psalms 66:18 tells us, if I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me. We all have to look within, and to God, for that answer. So I wonder if that will have any bearing on America, as to whether or not God will answer us, or bring judgement upon us.

I think it is awesome, that there is a National Day of Prayer, and that being today. May 6th. But I have to tell you, that even though this day is commemorated. We should be praying daily. Encouraging, ourselves, in our relationship with God. And as the Bible says, Praying without ceasing. I Thessalonians 5:17.

Now, there are issues, that are probably very prevalent, that we should be concentrating on, especially as a Nation. I just know, as I pray, I want to concentrate, on being thankful in my prayers. There is so much to pray for, I suppose, in each persons life. And our world.

But it kind of makes me sad, that we have to remind others to pray, as a National Day of Prayer. When we should just pray daily. All of us united. As the United States of America. Either way, though, I am glad prayer is being recognized today.

Well with that, thought, I just pray God bless America, but America, I pray we bless God.

A Prayer of Hope….

Father, I thank you, for who you are, and I thank you for this great country of ours. I pray, you bless America. I pray, that you bless our President Mr. Obama, and his family. Give him wisdom, and our leaders. I pray, for peace, for our nation, and that you deliver us from evil. Lord I pray for our military our soldiers, who are serving. Lord, bless them, and their families.

I pray, Father, that we would change our hearts, to please you. To want to please you. Lord, there are many things we need to bring to your throne. But I just hope and pray, that in this national day of prayer….that we would just be reminded to seek you every day. Making every day, a national day of prayer. Lifting this great nation up to you, in thanks, and seeking your wisdom. Lord I bless you in my prayer for our nation. Please bless America. In Jesus name. Amen

p.s. I feel convicted, that I am not more passionate to be addressing some things that we need to pray for. Present day needs. So consider these, as you pray today. I just want to thank Stacy, for bringing this to my attention. Check out her blog.

1. The Flooding in Tennessee etc. Pray for the families and people who have lost homes, businesses.

2. Pray for the oil spill to be cleaned up. That will affect food, our environment. wildlife.

3. Pray for protection of our nation. After this last terrorist attack, we can see, even more so the hate.

4. Pray for the United States to step in and protect our borders, with tighter security. Especially, because racial profiling, will get out of hand. In discrimination. Because of Arizonas new law. Yes I know it is controversial. And people need to be here legally. But discrimination is not the answer.

5. Pray for Greece, their economic collapse, could affect us, and the world.

Pray………..Yes, every day should be a National Day of Prayer.

HOW DO YOU RENEW YOUR MIND? ~ By Christian Author Elena Ramirez

I love learning, and seeking new ideas, for this and that or the other….But not, when it comes to my spiritual well being. I don’t take it for granted, and I don’t try everything, that this world has to offer.

In fact, some methods, scare me, and I would not try their remedies, if you paid me, because if anything, they are counter productive. And could do some strange spiritual damage. Thats why I am careful with religion. My definition of religion versus relationship is this: Rules and regulations, traditions, are made by people, and people make mistakes, but relationship is between you and God. And that is obtainable. You can have a relationship with God, by his rules. His commandments. His love….He does not make mistakes.

You have to be careful, what you put in your system, your heart, your mind. Or you can really hurt yourself. So to renew your mind…please read this, with an open heart.

Yes, there are many religions, self-help ideas books, etc. On the market, that could fill your mind, till you are weary, looking for finding the answer. And I am not knocking all of them. But I only trust one book. Completely.

For, there is only one book, that really does have all the answers. The Bible. God’s Holy King James word. This is not up for debate. This is truth, and I have proven it, at least to myself.

Now many, have eluded, that it was written, hundreds of years ago, and it does not apply to our modern day living.

But, in all truth, that is just a bunch of malarkey. For God, is the same, yesterday, today, and tomorrow. I have learned, and it is a process, in order to change, within, you have to see and know what God says.

The Bible, really does give a person understanding, and wisdom, and guidance. The key is listening to Gods voice, the author, of this great book. And then obeying it. You have to see who you are in Christ, and what he represented, especially in his love, and claim his promises.

And I know many will also say, that men wrote this book. But they were inspired by God.

The Bible, is the only known book, that really truly is alive. Hebrews 4:12 tells us…

FOR THE WORD OF GOD IS QUICK, AND POWERFUL, AND SHARPER, THAN ANY TWO-EDGED SWORD, PIERCING EVEN TO THE DIVIDING ASUNDER OF SOUL AND SPIRIT, AND OF THE JOINTS AND MARROW, AND IS A DISCERNER OF THE THOUGHTS AND INTENTS OF THE HEART. KING JAMES.

If you want to renew your mind. You have to do some things in order. And I know a lot of churches, do not preach this. But I will tell you straight out. You have to do what the Bible says.

You have to know God’s commandments. You learn who God is by reading the Bible. To understand God. To know his voice. And not the enemies. So when you give your heart, to Christ, in order to have a change. You have to“renew your mind.” Or nothing will change.

Your circumstances, will stay the same. That is why a lot of Christians, fall back into sin, or give up, and they see no changes, because their mind has not changed. They still continue, with their “stinking thinking.” And they don’t see any progress. The devil, comes and steals the word. From their hearts, because their commitment, to God, was not planted in good ground.

The Bible, tells us in Romans 12:2. AND BE NOT CONFORMED TO THIS WORLD, BUT BE YE TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND. THAT YE MAY PROVE WHAT IS THAT GOOD AND ACEPTABLE AND PERFECT WILL OF GOD. KING JAMES.

Now, I was already someone who read the Bible. But this way, has totally brought order to me.

To keep this short and sweet, yes give your heart to Christ, below is my link. Pray the Prayer of Salvation. And then get on a Bible program, and renew your mind.

Daily go to it, journal, and read your Bible. And don’t forget to pray. God will do such a new thing, for you, and your mind. You will never be the same. And you will wonder, how did you ever do it without God? Because you will see your thinking will be healthier, a peace and joy will be yours. Your mind will be renewed. This is how you get results in renewing your mind….By reading Gods word.

RED ROCKS COLORADO EASTER MORNING SUNRISE SERVICE 2010

Praise God, it is Resurrection Sunday. Christ has risen. Symbolically, Christians around the world, celebrate this Sunday, in honor, of Christ’s sacrifice.

This year, we wanted to do something different, as a family. To honor our Lord and his sacrifice. So, we got up very, very early. Around 2:00 a.m. and we got ready, and drove to Morrison Colorado, where thousands of other worshippers, also attended, this event. At Red Rocks Amphitheater.

I had never been to the Easter Sunday worship service at Red Rocks, and it was a first for me. But I am so glad, we made the effort to do it. Something, about being in the atmosphere of the mountains, and seeing the (son) rise. Truly touched my heart. Doves were released, and that also brought a special effect. But to be with my little family, is something, I will never, ever forget. And to just experience, the chilly morning, and hiking, sometimes out of breath, reminded me. My efforts were nothing compared to Christ. And what he did for each one of us, in his love. So today is in honor of Christ, and his love….

It is so easy to moan, and complain, when we are out of our comfort zones. And, in some ways, it was difficult. Because you really do have to walk a lot, and literally hike up the mountain to get into the amphitheatre. But if you live in Colorado, you should experience it.

This was Colorado’s sixty third annual Easter Sunrise service. And was sponsered by the Colorado Council of Churches. Reverend Dr. James Ryan brought the service to worship. And Dr. James Ramsey brought the service to pray. And Reverend Amy Mendez, said the Lords Prayer. Which blessed me. For I love to Pray as you know by my Prayers of Hope.

Groups that sang, and offered their talents of music, were Briar Branch, a bluegrass band made up of two families from north Denver. Moya Brennan from Ireland. And is a prominent Celtic singer. And the Women of Note. They were all great, and very talented. The music, was light, and somewhat traditional in some ways. And not exactly, what I would expect in my worship music. For I come from a Charismatic, and very expressive background. But, music is universal, and can touch different people, at different times. So it really is irrelevant, if it is not exactly my style. I just pray, people would have felt the spirit. And I did check it out. So, many are reserved, in their worship. And different strokes for different folks. But if they got the message, that was given, then thats all that counts. For it was about Love…..A language that we all understand.

The message given, basically, is the reason, for my writing. For the Pastor Reverand Hollis Booker, the Senior Pastor, of St. Lukes Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. Made the point, that we need to love one another. That Christ in his sacrifice, gave us his love, and we need to be the message, that gives love to one another as well. For if we love God it is easy to Love others. There is a freedom, that we have as Christians, that wants to Love as God does. But we have to decide if thats what we want to do. If only we would take that to heart. And truly practice Love in our every day living. It is not about religion, it is about relationship with Christ. Love from Christ, covers a multitude of sins, misunderstandings, and gives grace. The kind of Grace Christ extended to us, in our sins. So, we need to love one another….and Love God.

The cross may be blurry but the message was clear Love God and Love One Another

I pray, that your Easter Sunday is blessed. However you spend it, I pray you know God loves you. He sent his son for each one of us. All we have to do is believe, and we open the door to the real love God gives in sending his son.
